Came here with some friends for lunch. I decided to get a sandwich with fruit on the side and a salad bar. I have attached a picture for a visual reference and my receipt in my photos. At this place was very busy, but the staff was nice and the salad bar was clean. There was still seating available around the room. It was six of us for lunch, but one of us did not get our food until almost all of it was gone. Maybe due to the sunlight shining from the door. After we were almost done I got up, went to the counter and asked have you seen her food for the number and the guy was already walking around still looking and brought it to our table. Everyone's food was fresh and delicious. One of my friends ordered the new sandwich that she thought was ground. Beef was actually black olives and green olives mixed in together. She absolutely hates olives so she had to learn the hard way lol. Jason's Deli is always kind to us when we have to have events here. It is also a great choice for those who would like and healthy option but to also get full. I purchased the strawberry shortcake as well and it was yummy. Definitely recommend popping in and getting something to eat. read more

However you all opened a tester location in Wichita falls inside jasons deli and we received the worst customer service and wanted to let you all know there giving you all a bad name Brought my concerns to mgr Mario Gay and he seems to not care at all about the cookies in his store. They are inconsistent with their food... my wife likes the broccoli cheese baked potatoe, list time they put broccoli cheese soup on it with stemmed broccoli on it as well. This time it was just broccoli and cheese (no soup). I had the frito chili pie and the corn chips were stale. THEY OPENED JUST BEFORE WE GOT THERE. I rarely give a bad review on food, but Jason's deli was absolutely disappointing, and after being recommended. The sandwich itself was on very dry white bread ( I wanted white bread, but not dry white). They gave me red onions with the skin on them. My sides were bland, dry potato salad, and a fruit cup. I picked the sides. It was the managers special I ordered. I also didn't know i was getting only half of a sandwich! They put my vinegar and oil in separate containers, as well as the mayo. Forgot the mustard on my sandwich. I ate one fork full of potato salad and a bite of the sandwich and called it quits. I have a strawberry short cake with my order, but it looks dry as well. When I called to ask about the half sandwich, the hostess who answered definitely wasn't happy about me questioning the half sandwich. I literally won't be ordering from them every again. Ok so we are regulars now. I think the quality is actually pretty good for the price now that we've tried more of the menu. Even the kids Mac and cheese is good. BOGOF kids meals all summer. Even when the line is long (after church!) You don't wait that long. If you're like me and can get full on one trip to the salad bar, you can piggy back onto someone else's meal and get just the side salad. Which is one trip to the bar for $7 - pretty good. read more

What a disappointment. We have a Jason's deli in San Antonio TX and love it there. Today was just a mess. Two of the sandwiches are pretty much missing the inside ingredients. The zucchini sandwich has one singular 1cm thick piece of zucchini, asked for extra hummus and it looks like it was literally scraped off both pieces of bread. Not to mention there was ZERO grill on my zucchini grillini. Another sandwich, the deli cowboy, with brisket, one has one singular strip of brisket the length of a piece of bacon and wide of 1cm as well. I need a refund ASAP. This was awful!! We pretty much paid for bread. Whomp whomp. Do better Jason's deli! You got two strars instead of one bc the strawberry shortcake was on point, I'll give you that read more

7-8-24. Today was not good. The paninis were both cold and the cheese was not melted . They tried covering up the not hot panini with way too much spinach, was more like a cold spinach sandwich instead of a hot chicken panini. The ice cream was great though! read more

This is my second time here in about a year. First visit was a pretty good meal. I had a "Sgt Pepper" sandwich, of which is not on the regular menu. Good sandwich! Also had a "cup" of French Onion soup and a "bowl" of Tomato Basil. Both very delicious. Very promptly made and delivered to the table. No gripes about that hunger quenching visit. This time I had the Grilled Cheese (w/American) and Tomato Basil soup, grouped with some chips. The "bowl" was not what I had a year ago. The bowl this time held the chips and what I thought was a cup held the soup. There is a difference on bowl and cup here in shape and size and $1.00 in price for what seems like a minuscule difference. I ended up having to order another bowl of soup to fill the little hunger gap that remained after the sandwich, soup, and chips. Opting for the French Onion this time. I have no complaint about the soups taste as they are both quite delicious!! Just a little st odds on the serving sizes. The girl here did tell me to ask for the bigger white bowl next time, of which I will. :-) Good place to eat. read more

20 minutes seem liked a hour. If you ever felt like you were forgotten about yesterday evening was that day. Ordered to go manager special salad and half sandwich. I built my salad came back to wait for my half Turkey Swiss on Rye. and waited and waited Wondered wow what's taken so long.. Seems like food is going out pretty quick. Where's my half sandwich? I watched the line make 10 sandwiches in 4 minutes. I couldn't watch anymore. When I let the cashier know I was done waiting she never talked with anyone just said they are backed up cause of a big order.you can take your salad since you made it. I left salad behind I gambled putting dressing on greens and used the small cup for watermelon.It was already getting mushy. As far as the big order goes I didn't see the store stop serving sit down costumers I still saw plenty of sandwiches being made. I didn't want to believe these negative reviews, since we do love our Jason's in College Station so much. But sadly, I do wish I had avoided this one. The chicken salad salad ( yes, there is a chicken salad without chicken on the menu) was fine. Typical complaint on my part that all restaurants leave the thick woody part of the romaine lettuce on. My husband had a grilled cheese sandwich that tasted old and not freshly made. The bread was very thick and there was not much cheese on it. The tomato soup was inedible and as thick as pasta sauce. Delivery to our car was a pleasant experience. We did have to wait longer than normal as it was close to closing time. (8 pm., earlier than normal) I would find somewhere else to order from especially if you are used to a top notch Jason's. read more

About the only good things we can suggest about this place will be the chicken chili, which is thick and spicy like my husband likes, and the sweet potato pork stew- other than that, it's pretty much a place to give you some distress. In the time since it's opened, we have tried it from time to time, hoping it would become more like the other JD's wee had been at while traveling ( and why we were happy to see one coming in here!). Part of the time, with take out, which is what we mostly do, the dining areas are dirty, even at slow times of the day, you have to check your order yourself or you might be short part of it, the sandwiches may be missing a part ( such as the olive tamp. on the mufallatte)or have something "extra" not ordered- such as tomato or even a piece of paper inside. For the $20 to $30 bucks, I can drive in the same shopping center and get sandwiches from Pasqual's that are as ordered and very good. read more

I just ordered online and had a great experience! Your pasta is nice and hearty and not mushy at all and it doesn't have that bleachy flavor that a lot of pastas have. The marina sauce was good but I think it can be better. Coming from an italian home, I might be a little picky. I went to a tasting for tomato sauce over the weekend and loved a brand called Roseli that's a marina with garlic. I think that flavor would lend itself nicely to your meatball. I was most excited about the strawberry short cake. It had wonderful flavor and the cake wasn't greasy at all. The one recommendation would be to use a 40% heavy whipping cream instead of a half and half so that the cream keeps it's peaks and doesn't start to get watery when people order through delivery. This is my favorite place to eat in Wichita Falls. It is one of the cleanest sandwich shops I have ever been to. The staff is very nice and professional. There are so many options and the stall always helps me decide. They have never been wrong yet. The muffuletta sandwich is to die for. They make the best and most delicious vegetarian wraps on earth. Passing through while on a road trip, we landed at Jason's Deli during lunch hour. Although the entire restaurant was full of patrons, we were greeted by friendly staff and our food was delivered in under ten minutes. The menu offers plenty of options for those who indulge as carnivores and for those who don't. The salad bar; so fresh I was sure the veggies came straight from the back yard! Disappointed at all levels. Soup & salad bar should be an easy order but it wasn't. Salad bar was minimal with many items out of stock. The attendant could not keep up with replacing items. The peas were frozen and other important accessories were not available. The soup was much less than a full cup (2/3) and looked hurried in the way it was prepared. Ice cream machine wouldn't produce, chocolate syrup dispenser was empty and busted. Dirty - Starbucks bottle left on serving counter. A very unfortunate dining experience. read more

Thoroughly unimpressed. I have been here three times in 4-5 years. The first two times it was busy and I remember it being expensive for the amount of food. I went with friends today and thought I'd give it another go, because after all, I remember the food being relatively good. I ordered a ham & salami mufalleto and the cashier was polite no helped me through be process. I got a side salad and a drink, about $10.50 before taxes. My wife got something comparable and our tab came out to $23. I made my salad and enjoyed it. Fresh ingredients from what I could tell. My sandwich arrived and I was excited to try it. My first bite and I bit in a plastic tab that one should find on a bag for a loaf of bread, not as an ingredient of a sandwich. I checked my sandwich and didn't find anything else so I ate a little bit more; however, it had too strong of an olive taste for me. I won't knock them for that, it could have been me. But I tried to tie it all together with ice cream, so I went to their ice cream machine to be told that they had cleaned it out and there was no ice cream... They still had more than 30 minutes until they closed. So I said, okay, never mind, and made my way up to the counter. I spoke to a woman and showed her the plastic I bit into. She apologized and offered me another mufaletto. I declined because I was full, and then proceeded to let her know an employee had cleaned out the ice cream machine early and when we arrived this evening we were told that ice cream was included in the meal. As soon as I said "ice cream" she cut me off to provide an excuse about the machine getting clogged, or something to that extent, and that it would take too long to fix it and get it running again. Sounded a little bogus to me, but she offered me a cookie... I felt like I should have been compensated a meal, a gift card or just my money back. I didn't feel like asking only because I figured common sense would dictate. However, they didn't feel that way and the woman who helped me really didn't seem like she cared & I was more of a bother than anything. Therefore I won't bother them any more, there's places with food that's just as good and customer service that easily shadows this establishment. read more

I went to Jason's Deli on a Friday afternoon around the normal lunch rush. It was packed and it was quick service. I gave it a 4 star rating because it was my first visit ever and I didn't know they had a lot bigger menu than what was on the wall. I feel I made a quick decision due to the crowd and not knowing there was other options. The only table available was next to the drink machine and the salad bar which was also probably the messiest part of the restaurant. A great addition to Wichita Falls! Had the Beefeater sandwich, it was awesome. the salad bar looked great as well. The gumbo was very good. I have order and eaten at Jason's Deli quite a few times and will probably keep going but the service I got today was appalling. I went to the carry out window to order and was waited on quickly and efficiently. It went down hill from there. I was ordering just after the lunch hour rush and I know everyone wants to take a breath. There is a reason I went to the carry out I was kept into a meeting over lunch hour and need to get a quick bite and slam it down at work. So I waited patiently. I saw my order being brought up to the front and thought surely someone would address the order, no my assumption was incorrect. So I waited and then finally stood up and went to the register and had 2 employees walk past me and gave me no never mind. Finally the order taker turned around and said can I help you to which I said I think my order is ready. So she started to get my order and then the manager at the register called her over and proceeded to have a length discussion, by the tone not important stuff all the while my order is sitting on the counter. Good example of this chain. The service is always quick and friendly. The food is made fresh and also quickly. I usually get the muffaletta with French onion soup and chips. If you want the whole sandwich to be hot all the way through you have to ask for extra heat for the thick sandwiches. You can start with free crackers or crostini and finish with free soft serve.
