In town for a meeting at the Fire Academy, I was happy to find Java Dave and its proximity to the site. Early morning visit allowed for easy street parking. Plenty of options , I finally settled on an indulgence...iced mocha. Plenty of chocolate flavor with the coffee. Loved the cool ambience with classic tunes and window seating. My husband and I enjoy going to this place when we're in the area. The owner is kind and so is the rest of the staff. I love their lavender latte! I was charged $7.75 for a medium caramel macchiato this morning. They charge $5.50 at Starbuck. Their prices are way to high or I was ripped off. Either way, not cool. The coffee was ok, a little weak. I try to shop small, local businesses when I can, but I'll skip Java Dave's next time. read more

It is a very cozy small business with a super expansive menu. After trying a few local coffee shops, I want to say that this one us the best. Me & my boyfriend really liked Prep in old bridge, but after we moved farther away we were looking for a spot closer to us. This place is a small spot that we might have overlooked if we had not found this place on yelp. When we went to check the place out, there was no one there, but us. They have a whole bunch of coffee options, and have come breakfast/lunch sandwiches, and some random food items like quesadillas. I felt like the prices were pretty fair, and would recommend trying this place out. read more

Wow, I don't know why it took me so long to review this place. I have been coming here quite a while. Always clean, always fresh, great sandwiches, owner operated, just a great local place. Salads are home made and done daily. It is just a great local place to grab a sandwich quick. It is homemade healthier food and not a grease trap. read more

I've been here twice and i haven't been disappointed. I've gotten the blt and added turkey to it and I also got a tuna salad on a croissant the other day and that was also very tasty. The sandwiches come with a little side of macaroni or potato salad and I've had both of them, I liked the potato salad a lot more since I'm a big potato addict lol. The coffee is amazing though I've had an ice coffee with caramel and some hazelnut and it taste very smooth, I usually get soy milk in my coffee so it's not as light but I love how the coffee is very distinct in its taste. This is a quaint little cafe! Went for coffee after a busy day at work to wind down. The barista was really friendly and helpful. Seating is limited, but when I went the traffic was low, so I was able to get a table. I would definitely go back and try the other items on their menu, I got a simple espresso this time. read more

Great spot right in the middle of town! Milkshakes are DELICIOUS!! You have to try it out for a quick coffee or an after dinner milkshake. They're open a bit later than most coffee shops which is convenient. Check it out and support local! read more

Really great experience, will be returning frequently when I want a specialty coffee. I had the iced Manda Mocha and it was perfect, my boyfriend had the cafe latte and he thought it was great. I'm visiting from PA my family that lives around the corner. This place has delicious coffee. I get a coffee with creamer and you'd be surprised how many places can't get the basics right. Picked up many of their pastries for Christmas and they're delicious (black & white cookie, rocky road brownie, plain cheesecake). Their milkshake is a little pricey but worth the money.
