When I heard my fellow Rutgers Alum had opened a coffee shop in my home town, I had to stop in! The place is a nice place to get some work done on the computer or sit and chat with friends. Lots of natural light and in a convenient area for foot & road traffic. Most of the time I just want a regular drip coffee without the crazy price tag and Legrand delivered. For $10 a latte and drip coffee where speed and quality was top notch. Happy Thursday Adventurers! This place is super cute and I'm happy it's an 8 minute walk from me. I loved their lucky charm latte--hope they bring it back because the flavors were so good. There's plenty of seating even if it's a smaller cafe, plus they have window seating which is my favorite style. They also have a small book corner to drop and take books whenever you drop in. I ordered the bacon, egg, on ciabatta roll--it was delicious. I need to stop by and work more from here, it's super peaceful. I had a lot of questions and the girl behind the counter was patient with all of them. The only drawback which isn't because of them, but since it's shared in the apartment buildings, people suck at parking in the spots properly. I'm so glad I finally stopped by Le Grand Coffee House after moving to the area. It's right around the corner, but I had been bypassing it for a while. When I found out it was owned by Eric LeGrand, I knew I had to check it out--and I'm so glad I did! I ordered a hot coffee, a dirty pumpkin chai latte, and a cheesy savory croissant. Everything was absolutely delicious and of amazing quality. The flavors in the latte were perfectly balanced, and the croissant was fresh and satisfying. The store is nestled under apartments on Green Lane and is a short drive from the Woodbridge Mall. I was leaning toward just getting an iced coffee but the Scarlet Knight caught my eye. A combination of coffee, mocha and raspberry - it wasn't too sweet and had a slightly bitter taste that I actually liked. I liked the vibe (Sweet Home Alabama was playing - not the ideal tune for a Rutgers football fan) and there was ample seating. I've been excited to try this place once I found out it was opening by local Woodbridge celebrity Eric Legrand. The food, coffee, and lemonade are all fantastic. I tried the avocado toast, avocado grilled cheese, cheese danish, a thousand different coffees (latte, cold brew, iced) and lemonade mixes. There wasn't a single one I didn't like. I would suggest coconut always be on the syrup list On the go (they have an app to order) or if you have time, there is seating and several have access to outlets making it easy to work. The customers are friendly and I feel like I met more people there than where I currently live. Great atmosphere y'all. Parking was simple for me, I was there at opening but during the day there are plenty of free spots around too. I experienced the coffee shop host a giveaway and appreciation event for teachers. I was pleasantly surprised to see how involved they were in the community and we need to show teachers some love! Victor told me about another program they have where people with disabilities are able to come and gain some experience for other future jobs. Love this place. Nice relaxed atmosphere, staff who are helpful, courteous and pleasant without tipping over into forced and fake, which is a pet peeve of mine. Reasonably priced, which helps. Definitely a coffee shop and not a restaurant, so don't expect a large menu, but they do offer baked goods and two or three daily specials, often sandwiches. I don't know where they source their baked goods (including the breads for the sandwiches) but they're top notch. You'd think they had a bakery in the back. I'd go every day if I could. read more

I come here whenever I have a day off..I would say this is one of the best coffee shops in Central NJ (also might be a little biased as a Rutgers alum). Love every single set of seasonal selections when I come and the unique food options available. I have such a hard time deciding because I always want to try more than one of their coffees or foods. Great coffee, great ambience, and great staff! What more could you ask for? I recently had the opportunity to stop by the newly opened LeGrand Coffee House and had a lovely experience. Staff was very patient and helpful, taking the time to highlight the menu for me. I ended up going with a caramel oatmilk iced latte which was very smooth and delicious. They put the perfect amount of syrup to get the rich flavor of caramel while not being to overpowering/sweet. My brother got an iced match latte with a double shot of espresso + a packet of sugar which was so so so good, I think I will have to get this next time. In addition we got a bagel with cream cheese and a cheese danish. Bagel was good, cheese danish was awesome! As we were leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. LeGrand himself who was very kind and appreciative. Happy to say I will be adding this into my coffee shop rotation. read more

I found this place after dropping my daughter at an auto shop around the corner to pick up her car and let me tell you- I'm so glad I found this place. The ambiance is so homey and cozy feeling. The girls that were working they were all so nice! The coffee is so rich and flavorful and the baked goods- lip smacking good. I had a blueberry and cheese danish and it was so good. My daughter got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and devoured it instantly.
