Java Jive Thru is a one-of-a-kind place that can truly turn your whole day around! I found this cute little coffee shop on Yelp, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The exterior is an adorable little blue shack with two drive thru windows (one on each side) plus a walk-up window. It's small but charming and convenient. The baristas are always upbeat, extremely friendly, patient, and incredible at multitasking! They're lightning fast and the coffee is always on point! I was especially impressed that every day I came by, there was only one barista working, yet the service remained flawless. For my drink, I ordered a dirty vanilla iced chai latte with oat milk, and it was chefs kiss! Not bitter, not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced. It was so delicious that I had to come back the very next day to order it again. The French toast, sausage, bacon, and egg bagel sandwich was recommended as a favorite by the barista. However, I removed a star because the food is prepackaged and reheated. While I enjoyed the spinach feta pretzel, the French toast bagel was a bit tough. If you love great coffee and even better customer service Java Jive Thru is definitely worth the stop! read more

This coffee is amazing!!!! Coming from an ex-barista who hasn't had coffee in 5 months, this place is the place I would go to for a nice coffee break. I got the vanilla chai iced latte with oat milk, and it was incredible!!!! It was way better than the Starbucks iced chai latte. It was also cheaper--it was only around $10 for two drinks, when at Starbucks I usually pay around $12-15. I would definitely recommend getting coffee here if you are in the area. read more

Forget expensive Starbucks! This is where you should get your coffee. Jess & George are wonderful!! We've been getting our morning drinks there for a couple years. Once in a while we get a breakfast item or treat. One day was headed to work when we saw Jess' car, so hit the brakes, made a tight turn & pulled thru. I love their coffee and seasonal menus and have been a regular before COVID. I was disappointed today when I stopped by and noticed that the barista was not wearing a mask. They also don't take some COVID precautions that other stands in the area do. They still take your card from you for payment and they don't use individually wrapped straws. I would feel much more comfortable if the barista was masked while interfacing with customers. read more

This place needs to become a full on Coffee house with seating and everything. I ordered a Mocha and wasn't even sure if it had shots in it but it was surprisingly smooth! They do offer breakfast sandwiches and other food, but they're packaged and I don't think they are made fresh...so that's a no go for me...(to each there own). I came here the first day of my internship and every single day after for the rest of the summer. The coffee here was the best I had in Seattle, and the employees are super sweet. They had great breakfast, and a great punch card that led to me getting multiple free drinks throughout the summer. Only reason I stopped going is because I moved. It literally added an extra fifteen minutes to my commute to come here but I did it every morning, definitely worth it. read more

I read the bad review on Yelp about this business and I really hope everybody reading reviews takes that one with a large grain of salt. This little drive through is conveniently located for me on my way to work, there's rarely a line, most I've seen is two or three cars but they work both windows, so it's not a bad wait at all. Their vanilla lattes make me so happy and they always make my drinks with a smile and fast, amazing service. Their cake pops are really delicious, too, so definitely try that if you're getting a treat! read more

Ohhhhh where to start. Holy cow..this place is all bad. From customer service to quality to location. I drive by their coffee sign often when driving home from work and finally made the stop yesterday. I think there was a training session going on, because the girl kept trying to tweek up my drink after telling her what I wanted. I mean I don't mind recommendations, but i specifically told her that I did not need any coffee and just wanted a pumpkin pie/white mocha flavored iced drink and also a white mocha frapp with caramel on the cup for my boyfriend. She kept suggesting that I could have one shot of coffee in it and I'm just like NO! Wasting my time and slowing down the process. While this is happening..there is a girl with her and she's all up in the window on her phone like she is not even at work. Really? Then she is constantly staring at me while I'm minding my own business trying to keep calm on how long ive been sitting at the drive thru waiting for my drinks! I think at one point she even talked about me and started laughing. Not sure about that one though. She seemed disrespectful enough. After 20 minutes..my drinks came. Caps are flimsy and instantly flew off when I got it and there goes the whip cream...everywhere....my drinks tasted like crap. you think after taking that long it would be good, but no. My pumpkin tasted like overly sweet pumpkin sauce with milk. I think she forgot my white mocha syrup and so did the mocha frapp it just tasted like sugar. That's it.
