I got one of their summer special: raspberry mango matcha which was so delicious and refreshing. The flavors of raspberry and mango paired very well with the creaminess of the matcha. I did take a sip of the cold brew and it is definitely better than some of the cold brews that I've had in Tacoma, Seattle, Bellevue, and other areas. They also get pretty busy which shows that they are a great local choice for good coffee, other drinks, and treats! There were two vehicles in front of me, and I did have to wait about 12-15 minutes to get to order, but when I saw their menu, I could see why. Their drinks are absolutely showstopping. I mean, they had elephant ear whipped cream, come on! They had staple beverages along with seasonal beverages, and the barista was so kind and patient even though I didn't know what I wanted when I got there. I was able to make my choice and get my beverages within a few minutes. They were perfectly balanced and very delicious. Jasmine Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The milk tea has a heavy powdery creamer flavor, but it's not gritty or silty at all. Unfortunately it's so heavy that the drink tastes almost entirely like creamer with only a tiny bit of flowery finish. It's not the most pleasant flavor due to this quality. While the creamer is on the heavier end, the sweetness is not; at half sweet it's not too sweet. The boba is very good, super bouncy and chewy with basically the ideal texture. They aren't marinated that long so aren't quite that sweet or flavorful. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Onit Cafe is one of those rare places where I liked the boba far more than the drink.
