Stopped in here before a show at the recommendation of a friend who is local. They are conveniently located next to the Variety Playhouse and it definitely has a bit of a "divey" feel to it, but the coffee was strong and amazing and the employee behind the counter was super nice and friendly. Only complaint, they didn't have the air conditioner on for some crazy reason so it was hot as hell in there. I'm not sure how people were sitting inside!

This coffee shop was such a great stop! It is a small intimate space and a good place to sit and chill while to sip on your drinks. They also have wine and beer available. I had a dirty chai and really enjoyed it! The Batista was super friendly.

Very interesting place. Atmosphere is very hipster and gothic. Good coffee though. It was a good spot to hang out while waiting on my son's rehearsal next door.

Stopped by to grab some coffee on my way home and it was interesting to say the least. I ordered The Irishmen's Coffee and it was actually stronger than I expected (slightly stronger than I prefer but too much alcohol is ALWAYS better than too little!). I tried making conversation with the bartender but he wasn't interested so I gave up. Definitely more of a bar than a cafe but I decided to get a latte to go, to see how their Java fares. Big mistake! I don't know if he used old coffee or burnt coffee or what but it was nasty - I kept trying to make myself swallow it down (I hate wasting money) but I couldn't do it. 3 stars for the coffee cocktail -1 star for the latte Not my bag but your mileage may vary. My friend and I came here on a Tuesday night, both of our first time. It was real chill and laid back, live music in the background, very nice vibe! The bartender, Sterling was awesome! He made us the perfect glass of "adult" chocolate milk :) 10/10 will return!

Artsy, trendy joint in Little Five Points. In a way, seems a little lost in translation of what they are more considered: night life or coffee. Have been twice for iced lattes. They have a pretty good coffee selection. As far as a coffee shop would go, flavor of drinks and atmosphere, I would give them between a 3-3.5. Nightlife could be better, so I night check out that scene when I get a chance. For some reason I don't feel like I'm in the right atmosphere for just buying coffee. I can relate with a few of the recent reviews in that sense.

Used to be a great spot to relax, now has turned into a dump. Very rude staff and terrible service. Money and time is better down elsewhere.

Rudest manager ever experienced. Told my friends to get the f*** out of his restaurant, after they requested items. Disappointing.

They hold a jazz night every Tuesday with live music for a nice chill, yet fun, vibe. Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!

We arrived there exactly at 5 PM, when it opens, but there was already a pretty extensive line. A little outside the entrance, they check your ID, which I had no idea was a thing. So make sure you have your IDs with you and are 21+. There's a bar area for drinks and a separate counter where you will order and pay for your food. (They make it pretty explicit that you can't get wings to-go.) Find a seat, and once your food is ready, they'll announce your name, and you pick up your food from the window. FOOD: We got wings in the flavors of lemon pepper (dry rub), sun-dried tomato (dry rub), buffalo lemon pepper (wet), and jerk buffalo (wet). I will say that I definitely preferred the wet wings to the dry wings. I found the dry wings to be a little too salty. In my opinion, the wings and the cook on them were just okay. I wasn't blown away or anything. Maybe the relatively cheap beer and the vibes help draw in all the appeal. TLDR// I don't think I had the greatest wings of all time here, but the vibes were really casual and pleasant. I'm glad I was able to try a place so beloved by locals.

It was a semi-private space and perfect for our evening. We all enjoyed cocktails, dinner, and dessert. Our server was excellent and easily took care of our large party. I enjoyed salmon with Brussel sprouts and fries as my sides. The salmon was perfectly cooked, medium. It was the best salmon I've had out at a restaurant in a very long time. The Brussel sprouts were tender cooked with bacon and onion and the fries had the perfect amount of crunch. I loved the maple old-fashioned cocktail and the lemon raspberry cake was out of this world amazing, nice and tart. They have free valet parking in the back and a handicap space right near the door in the back. The only downside is they only do one check; however, I feel like many places do this now especially when you have a large party so we made it work. I would definitely not use that as a reason not to come back. The overall experience was fantastic.
