Overall, this place was just okay. My friend and I stopped here on our way out from SB, just looking for a quick bite. Parking was tough on a Sunday around 11-12. The bagel was okay and my friend enjoyed her turkey sandwich. I ended up tossing my iced tea after one sip, it tasted super bitter and not fresh.

Super friendly staff. Peach basil burrata scone looks amazing. Lots of space to sit, work, chill. Enjoyed my latte!

Haven't been here in awhile and was sad to hear they are not open at night anymore. Great baristas, bountiful seating, excellent coffee, and the ambience is still comfy, welcoming, and fun. I guess there is a special comedy night sometimes. Check it out!

Great place to study with the coolest baristas. With the rest of Goleta/SB being overrun by trendy overpriced cafes that all have one-syllable names starting with D (Dean, Dune, Dawn, what is with that?) this place has a nice old timey feel with plenty of sunlight, actually reasonably priced drinks, and lots of seating!

This place is great. The mochas and chai's are amazing. The atmosphere is adorable. Who ever owns this place has great taste and an eye for detail. From food to decor it's a delight. It's also very clean with plenty of seating and a warm fireplace. Friendly service.

Eve My daughter and I came in to grab a bite. We love the atmosphere and to make it even better the food and drink were amazing. Next time we come we are getting the lox s hmear.

This is one of the larger hipster coffee shops I have been to. There is a full size fireplace inside, they have a big green egg and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It seems to be the popular place for breakfast too! They seem to have very basic coffee drinks and nothing too fancy. With September 1st being just 2 days away, we asked if they had any pumpkin specialty drinks and they said no since it's seasonal. So that was a bit disappointing. I ended up getting a Chai Latte and honestly I was not that impressed. It definitely tasted like it had more milk than what I am used to and it was not sweet. Which is ok I guess but when in vacation I like to enjoy my pricey coffee specialty drinks. The baristas were nice and everyone local seems to like this place but I personally preferred the Lighthouse over this place. We spent $15 for one black coffee, one large chai latte and one small latte and I feel robbed. Way more than Starbucks.

If you're looking for a coffee shop that serves food then I would recommend Java Station. The staff is friendly and they have an extensive drink and food menu. This morning a friend and I went for coffee and their specialty bagels. The lox and schmear is always my go to and my friend ordered the avocado bagel. Both topping were perfect but the bagels can sometimes be a little chewy than desired. That being said the bagels were still very delicious. The coffee is pretty good as well and they do have a couple Axxess Card buy one, get one free deals. Overall Java Station is a solid place to go to for coffee beverages and food.

This place is an absolute gem! You can tell when you walk in that the beans they use are fantastic quality just by the smell. To me, that's always a good indicator of a coffee shop I want to be in. The service was friendly and even though there was almost no parking left my orders came out in a jiffy! The whole place was packed but it was very quiet, mostly because everyone respected those around them. I tried the Green juice (kale, cucumber, lemon, apple, chard) and unsweetened iced matcha oat milk latte. Both were soooo good! I am fully pleased with my stop here and highly recommend the Java station. Can't wait to try the food next time!

Sadly they changed the recipe on their breakfast burritos and they are nowhere near as good as they used to be. They got rid of the ham and cheese scone as well, so now there's not much savory breakfast food on their menu. They got rid of game night as well. I love the manager and the baristas but I have stopped going even though I was a regular for years. I still love them but I need savory food options. Hopefully Rebecca will listen.

This is NOT a board game cafe. This is a free wi-fi cafe with no room for much else other than a laptop on a table.

Disappointment. Worst Americano and latte we have ordered anywhere. Rancid and bitter. Would have returned them but we were on the road.

This place is great! I wish they would open another one in Goleta, but now that I have tried them…read moreout I'm willing to make that drive up to the Mesa! If you are new to Mission City like me, you have got to try the Spicoli, it's literally everything you could want in a sandwich, AND they give you that extra crunch and add chips to it! Mind blown. We also tried the special and that one really needs to go on the regular menu so we can have it again! We were told the specials last about a week or two. The wait wasn't bad, the place did have a line, but I see why now! It's worth it! There wasn't a lot of parking in front, but we found out later there is a huge parking lot behind the shop.

Easy 5. We were driving home from the central coast, my man wanted a sandwich, and while this isn't…read moreright off the freeway, it's not THAT much farther and the sandwiches looked too good to pass up. Man, am I glad we did. I cannot get over how good the Jon Bahn Jo Mi was. The first impression was that it was heavy, so I was like OK, I'll have leftovers. Then, the big reveal, I opened the sandwich and the second impression was the fresh, fragrant smell of the herbs. Then, first bite, and the quality of the beef n tri-tip, and how all of the ingredients blended perfectly, put me in a happy dance. But wait, there's more! Bc then, the pho dip companion had so much flavor, more depth than some pho places I go to. Wow, I'll stop here anytime. Easy 5.
