SB Roasting Company is a great spot! I enjoy coming here on weekends after a workout. They have some good flavors for lattes, I like getting the lavendar latte. It's a nice, open coffee shop with lots of seating. I often see people doing work, sitting and enjoying their food and drink, and it's an overall lively atmosphere.

First time here and I got an iced vanilla latte, not too bad! Coffee taste was amazing, wish it was a little sweeter. I also got an herb and cheese bagel that was TO DIE FOR. For sure will be coming back for one of those. They cut and toasted it for me which was perfect. They were also roasting when I got there, super cool to see and smelt amazing.

Such a good coffee shop, beans roasted right there in the shop! Excellent selection of hot, cold coffees and teas and other specialty drinks. Not had any pastries from here but they look and smell great! Service is always efficient and friendly.

Was pleasantly surprised by their iced matcha! It was very smooth and tasted yummy. Service was very fast for a busy Monday morning. I will definitely be back to try it again!

Great local place in Santa Barbara to stop in for coffee.service is always friendly and quick. Restrooms are super clean and spacious, but you can only use them if you are a paying customer, as the restroom code to get in, is printed on your receipt. Lots of available seating inside as well.dog friendly too!

roasting the beans out out in the open right near the bathroom straight from a trashcan! No gloves no hairnet- gross.

So bad! Staff was anything but friendly while ordering. Didn't give me a receipt which was required for the bathroom code which they are oddly secretive about when we clearly just ordered. I can't have coffee right now, so I ordered the Yerbalicous due to it having positive reviews and it was awful. Tasted like the smell of electricity. I also ordered a jalapeño cheddar bagel and it came out about 12 minutes after my drink, which is really odd when they had to brew the Yerba mate. They give you a tiny rock hard portion of cream cheese with a giant thick bagel so I asked my husband to go get a couple extra cream cheese and they charged him $1.20. I'm not exaggerating. They're about a quarter size amount of cream cheese. I threw the drink away, and I threw away most of the bagel. The whole experience was a complete waste. I will never return here, and I will never recommend it to anyone based on the interactions with the staff as well as the taste of the drinks and food. There was also a small bird flying around the café, which was disgusting as they roast the beans right there next to the bathroom too. They actually use giant trash bins for their beans when they're roasting them. Just doesn't seem clean there.

I got the feeling of being at a cafe at a train station in Harry Potter. The brown rustic interior and the old school decoration made up for the experience. It's a pet friendly establishment. They have kiosks for you to order or order with a staff. I got a hot matcha. Again, nothing stood out and the matcha powder was not dissolved... The sandwich was a little bit better than McDonald's breakfast, it was the fluffy toast ... Super overpriced.

Great matcha. Absolutely ZERO Wi‑Fi. I couldn't even send out an email. I asked the barista if this is normal and he said yes. That tells me the owners are cheap and don't want to invest in proper Wi‑Fi, which is fine, but you shouldn't advertise Wi‑Fi since it's extremely slow. Not coming back. No wonder it was empty.

Friendly service with a smile. Medium drip coffee is $4.05. My companion says it was quality coffee. He did squabble about the price being steep for drip. Not the best he ever had. Plenty of seating but a bit cramped. They keep the doors wide open so you get a whiff of coffee smell. Parking is plentiful with a huge lot next door. There is also street parking as well.

We tried multiple other places that didn't have outdoor seating (so not dog friendly), but then we found Caje on State Street. It's on a protected set of streets where there are lots of shops and stores. There's common outdoor seating just outside the store, which met our objective of hanging out with the dog. Granted it was a hot day, but this store was really really hot inside, like unpleasantly so. I felt bad for the barista! The coffee is reasonably priced, all things considered (fancy flavors, Santa Barbara, crowded location) and the flavor was nice and not one I've personally had before. I asked to go light on the ice and they did a good job there. The wait was a bit long, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was all fine. Good place to stop and relax and have a good tasting coffee.

The location is nice, but it felt really hot inside. The space is small so there's not much seating inside, but they have a small outdoor seating area out front and additional seating options around the corner. They were almost out of pastries so we split their last two croissants amongst the four of us. The croissants were probably my favorite part of the visit. Most of our group seemed to be okay with their coffee choices, but overall no one was overly enthusiastic about their drink so we'd say it's about average. I ordered the iced chai latte and it was probably the worst drink I've had at a coffee shop. It was pretty much a big glass of milk with some chai spices mixed in. Very disappointing. I ended up throwing most of it away. Their staff was okay, but nothing stood out about their service so the experience here overall was pretty mediocre at best.

There were several guests with laptops enjoying the space, which made it feel like a cozy neighborhood coffee shop. The only downside was that we discovered there weren't any accessible outlets to charge our phones. We had specifically stopped hoping to recharge before exploring more of the city, so that was a bit disappointing. Since it feels like a café where many people come to work or study, I was surprised that charging outlets weren't available as an amenity. Aside from that, the service was pleasant, the drink was excellent, and the overall experience was enjoyable.
