I have been going to Javidan Wellness Center off and on for years. I have been to several chiropractors and physicians for debilitating neck , upper back and shoulder pain prior to my first visit with Dr. J and found that he was by far the most effective I have ever experienced. His ability to find the problem, painful areas and deliver immediate relief is almost uncanny. He and his wife are two of the sweetest most caring individuals I have ever come across in any doctors office. They are more than understanding of my busy schedule and have scheduled last minute appointments for me when I am in pain and accepted last minute cancellations if my time ran short (I own a business and my work and travel schedule is often hectic). I have referred both my friends and family alike to seek care at the Javidan Wellness Center when they are in pain and each time someone goes they call me back to thank me profusely for the referral. Dr. J is the best adjuster I've ever experienced. Period. My spot is the top of my shoulders/neck/and ESPECIALLY the top of my neck & base of skull. I've had a lot of chiropractors adjust me, and this spot is not easy to get, apparently. But Dr. J can get it. ALSO, he's the only chiropractor I've experienced who actually visually showed me my progress with x-rays. He took an x-ray before treatment, another one to check progress and a last one when I was done with my program. This is huge 'cause I could see with my own eyes the condition I'm in before I started--I didn't have to just blindly trust the doctor. And it's cool that I could see how I've progressed. Went to see Dr. Javidan a few times a while back, and recently read a review posted here by a lady who felt as if she was in school and being reprimanded by a teacher during her visits. So true! I too had the unfortunate experience of being forced to read about chiropractic care out loud to Dr.Javidan from these info cards he had in his office. And then there was a Q&A session with him on that info - much like test-taking in high school. It was embarrassing and so unprofessional. Then came the sales pitch. I won't even go there. Save yourself the hassle and embarrassment by seeking chiropractic care elsewhere. I'm not saying Dr. Javidan isn't qualified, but honestly, I wanted to see a Dr.... Not a schoolteacher. I want to be made to feel comfortable - not on edge or stressed during my visit. Glad to see that I'm not the only one who felt this way. Went to another clinic, paid less, was treated very well by several Drs who worked there, beautiful environment, no lectures and no gimmicks, and now I feel great! read more

I was brought to this business initially either by a Groupon or Dealfind offer which was a really good deal on a pair of massages. During one of my visits, Dr. J did a chiropractic exam and determined that my problem was suitable for his kind of treatment, which I percieved to be unique among chiropracters in my personal experience. Although he didn't make any real promises, he indicated the problems with my lower back and neck could be solved using his brand of therapy. Turns out he was only half right. Although he was able to substantially increase the range of motion in my neck, he was never able to do anything about the limited mobility, scoliosis, and chronic spasm in my lower back. There is a display of Scientology reading materials in his lobby. To his credit, he never tried to push any of that stuff on me. However, I once overheard him inviting an emotionally distraught client to one of his meetings. I guess he thought it would help her. Although I did get initial X-rays before treatment, there was never any follow-up to track my progress, even though I asked for it. The equipment in his office is a bit shabby, with 3 of 4 treatment couches having torn covers. He sometimes used ultrasound (which was ineffective on me), heating pads, or Transcutaneous Electronic Nerve Stimulation (TENS), depending on what he felt might have helped my muscles relax enough to allow movement in my spine. None of it worked. He was very flexible on the schedule, allowing me to cancel last-minute if needed to accommodate my crazy variable work schedule. In trying to keep me as a client, he offered me several "discounts" which always amounted to more per visit than my initial contract. That, the ineffective lower back treatment, and the long drive from my home caused me to seek treatment elsewhere once my initial contract was fulfilled. On balance, I'd go back if the only problems I had were in my neck. Dr. Javidan seems to be a neck specialist. read more

I visited Javidan Wellness Center today. Dr. Javidan personally accessed me. He is very friendly and professional. For the first time a chiropractor actually explained to me what a healthy spine looks like and how it influences my body and life. It was a very interesting consultation. Before he adjusted me we talked about my health and how he can help support it and prevent injuries and pain. It's so much better to understand what exactly is going on than just swallowing a pill. The adjustment was quick and comfortable. I can move my head way better than I could before. Thank you Javidan and Team for your great work. I've been going to see Dr. J for a couple months now and I have never felt this great in my entire life. I haven't had back pain in quite sometime now. I am truly amazed with work and effort in giving me a pain free life. I found Dr. J online just hours before an appointment I had scheduled with another chiropractor. I was always unhappy with the other place.....I just felt like a number there. They would adjust me and send me on my way. They would provide me with no knowledge as to what was causing the pain and never provided me with information on how to prevent. You'd think they would for the business, but never did. Dr. Javidan is nothing short of being the BEST in the business. I threw my back out playing basketball and couldn't even stand up without the worse sharp pains going up and down my back. Only after 1 visit to Dr. Javidan I was feeling almost as good as new. Not only did he fix the problem, he took the time to really educate me on what was going on in my back. I give Dr. J. a 5! He is absolutely AMAZING!!! I go to him for treatment on a regular basis. I had been suffering with lower back pain and neck pain for 10 years. By going to him regularly, my aches and pains have improved greatly. I am able to workout, do regular activities without any major pain. Doc J is the best. He's helped me immensely with chronic neck/upper back pain that I sustained over a decade ago. He was thorough on the initial exam, came up with a treatment plan and had several holistic consultations, (to include diet & exercise suggestions to help with my symptoms), and resolve my issues instead of just treating consistent pain. I really appreciate his professionalism and that he sincerely cares about the well being of his patients is demonstrated by how he treats us. I have recommended several people to him and have one friend who when visiting my from out of state needed his services. Dr. J and Susan are nice but that's about it. This was my first chiropractic experience where I purchased the treatment plan, paying quite a bit up front to take advantage of the savings, or so I thought. It included coming in to get adjustments twice a week and a number of massages. Since I had no previous experience to compare to, I did as Dr. J suggested. I'm not sure if I had any improvement and work had gotten pretty busy so I wasn't coming in as often. Also, the surveys they were asking me to complete that had nothing to do with chiropractic medicine was a huge turn off. I know a few people who also come here so we all spoke about our "treatment" and found it interesting we were all receiving the same treatment. I decided to just forfeit the adjustments I still had and went to a new place where I only come as needed. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Javidan for several months now and I can honestly say the services he provides is exceptional and very different from other chiropractors. His approach to treatment is to fix the problem and not prolong the problem. My neck was not aligned properly because of my constant cellphone use. Dr. Javidan is a knowledgeable and extremely caring health practitioner. I sought his treatment based upon a personal referral. I have been enduring neck and shoulder pain since 2 whiplash injuries very close together. Also after years of office/computer work and now as a hair stylist wherein my head is positioned in a downward position 90% of the time. After taking films Dr. Javidan diagnosed my condition as Stage 1 subluxation. My treatment plan was outlined and I jumped right in. My visits were 2 times per week at his office, along with exercises to do at home. Dr. J also investigated all the benefits available to me through my health plan. He obtained DME ( equipment ) for me to use in the convenience of my home. The reason I am giving Dr.J and his office one star is because thought the adjustment was nice, I felt very pressured into being a return client. I bought a groupon for a massage, an adjustment, xrays and consultation. Really I was only interested in the adjustment and massage. He did the consulation, xrays, and adjustment on the first visit and said I would have to come back to go over those results and then make an appointment for the massage. During the initial consulation I felt like I was in a classroom. He made me read things aloud and answer questions like I was taking a test, not questions regarding my pain my health etc. He also insisted that my husband come back to the appointment with me, which I was odd, and made me think he thought I had something seriously wrong with me. When I came back to go over the xrays I was expecting to go over the xrays, him give me my options and let me make a decision. When we went over my xrays, I was actaully relieved because of how serious he made it sound like my condition was, and it turns out it wasnt. He was very disappointed that my husband could not make it to the appointment with me, and kept asking me to call him etc, when I told him my husband was working and was unavailable. He then went over all the information he went over in the initial consultation, again with making me feel like I was taking a class on chiropractic care, reading aloud and answering questions. Then we got down to what really did not sit well for me. My treatment plan. I have been to a chiropractor before, i know that it takes more than one visit to really feel the benefits. However he wanted me to sign a contract, and pay for all my treatments upfront, even tried to pitch me a medical credit card!!!! WHAT kind of Doctor who is going to be seeing you several times a week will not allow you to pay for your appointment at the beginning or end of each appointment?! When I told him I needed to talk it over with my husband he again tried to get me to call him to discuss it with him. I told him I could not do that and I would go home and discuss it and call him back to make an appointment. Needless to say I have not returned to Dr.J as his practices did not sit well with me, asking me for fork over thousands of dollars for treatments that have not been recieved yet. I went to Dr J BEFORE it was called the Javidan Wellness Center... when they were in the old building back in 2009. So I am writing a review based on how they were way back then, (it may or may not reflect how they are now). EXPERIENCE: I originally came here because I was suckered in by their promotions guy into a "free massage". I thought, eh... couldn't hurt. And it's free! :) I came in, and I was greeted by Dr J himself, who asked me to wait for Susan (who I found out later was his wife aka Physical Therapist). She ran me through a series of questions about any aches and pains, etc... then gave me the option to choose either a free massage or a free adjustment. I felt a little pressured to take the free adjustment in the end, but was happy I did it. The first adjustment I had, I felt so much relief in my head and neck. I slept like a baby that night. And with that free adjustment of course comes their sales pitch of, "yes, you need regular adjustments for your spine and neck." They had x-rays done, and I went through a consultation before deciding to go through the process of being adjusted on a regular basis. So, the overall experience I had with them was pleasant. Dr J and Susan were very friendly. I did learn a lot about my spine, my neck, and my feet and the way I stand and walk. MASSAGE: With their adjustments package also comes free massages (which last either 30 minutes or an hour). Their first employee was female, whom I felt completely comfortable with. Toward the end of my treatment period though they ended up hiring a male. I felt extremely uncomfortable receiving a massage from a male employee, and asked for a female. It was more of a use it or lose it, so I decided to lose my free massage session just because they only had a male on staff. ACN (Multi-Level Marketing or MLM) SELF PROMOTION : They had their ACN video phone up on display (in use too) at the reception area. If you asked about it, they end up inviting you to their meetings. I felt pressured into signing up for their services, and regretted that decision ever since. Wasted a lot of money with them. PAPER/ONLINE REVIEWS: I remember that day when Susan came out to the reception area and asked me to fill out one of their "Reference" sheets, (giving my review of their services). It was the most awkward thing. At this time, Susan, Dr J, me, and my husband were in that friendly stage where they knew I couldn't write down any negative reviews so to ruin a good friendship. So of course, I wrote down just the positives, leaving out the negatives. Then, a couple months later, Dr. J said he found out Google did reviews, and his practice was harshly criticized. Of course I laughed to myself because when I read it, everything in that review was TRUE! :D Here's what was weird though. Dr. J asked my husband and me to put in some good reviews to offset that bad review. Really? So now I can't be honest online either? Well, being that I am no longer one of their clients, I am typing as much as I like, negative and positive. PARKING/AREA: This section would be irrelevant as they have moved to a new office location since then. Again, this review is based off their service back in... 2009 ? At Javidan Wellness Center they provide something known as corrective care. This means that they take X-rays, show you exactly what is going on, and educate you on how this happened and how to correct it. Before, chiropractors I went to would sit me down, ask what was wrong, and make an adjustment. This may have relieved joint pain, but in no way was it corrective. If you have a pain problem, make sure that you are receiving the correct treatment! read more

Holy moly, my headaches have gone away. If you have sinus pressure aches and accompanying back\shoulder pain, go to this place. Deep tissue massages, neck, back, and knee adjustments all on point. I received a Groupon as a gift for 2 massages. The massage therapist is actually a student. She asked me if I had any problem spots, I said my shoulders were tight, tense. She then pinched and squeezed my shoulders most of the session. She did not have me roll over and work on my quads or my arms. Probably one of the worst massages I have ever gotten. I am suffering from neck pains more than 15 years. It was my luck to find someone like dr Patrick . Very proffessional chiropract and highly pleasent person. He discovered the cause in 7 min. I have been taking my children and we have all been seeing Dr. Javidan for 6 months now. Except for the busy holiday season, we try to go in for adjustments 1-2 times a week. My children are 13 and 15 and they look forward to getting their adjustments. They feel better afterwards and have continued to feel better week after week. As you can imagine, they spend a fair amount of time looking down at smart phones and electronics. I personally have had significant back and neck issues and have had back surgery. After a few sessions, I noticed less pain in my neck. Dr. Javidan takes extra time and care to explain his approach of corrective care, not just temporary relief. I look forward to continuing to improve week after week. Just like with anything, you must be consistent and give it time to achieve results. Bought a Groupon and went through the X-ray and consult process. After visiting Chiropractors in Oklahoma, Colorado and California, I finally found a serious practice that sits down with you and identifies your needs and long-term wishes. I started treatments right away and am so glad I did. After a head-on car accident and damage to L4, L5 and serious nerve damage I was in need of relief from pain and problems with mobility. More than 40 treatments into my plan, I am feeling so much better. I continue to visit his office twice a week and from the affects of multiple manipulation methods and treatments I feel great. He is patient and very perceptive to patients needs and limitations. I am not a big fan of all the sounds and movements that come along with Chiropractor treatments, but Dr, Javidan was very patient with me and convinced me that I would get maximum results and that there would be no pain involved.
