Why is this liquid leaking from the bottom?
Daniel C M.

I really hate to give them only 1 stars. But a major issue. I grab a breakfast burrito from the drive through as I'm hungry and on my way to work. I prefer to get hot sauce, but because I'm driving I opted out. I carefully unwrap one end of the burrito and take a bite. This liquid comes pouring out of the bottom (see picture) All over my shirt, pants and upholstery. It wasn't just a little. Unfortunately I live 45 miles away and don't have a change of clothes with me. The burrito itself is what you would expect. It was ok, not over the top. For $8 I call it average.

the chees was So darn hard i even hurt my teeth

Warning!! Not fresh!! hard and not edible.. they deserve 0 stars.. My order was not send how i ask.. they should have called insted of sending what the hell they want!!

California Burrito

Zero stars. What a disappointment. My $12 California burrito was TINY! It was so small. I even added rice to it, and it did nothing for girth or size of the burrito. It'll prolly be even smaller if I didn't add it! There were barely any French fries too. What a rip off this place is. Don't waste your money. Don't waste your time. Don't eat here.

Chorizo Burrito. At $8.12 as of Sept. 3 2020 it's overpriced IMO.

I've been meaning to try Javier's for a while now and finally got around to having one of their breakfast burritos. I like to compare overall quality and value of a traditional chorizo breakfast burrito with other businesses in the area to see who has the best burrito. To start with, this burrito was good but not great compared to places Ike Muchas Gracias which tends to be my go to area business when I'm unable to try another business's offerings. Decent but the weight of it was far less than Muchas Gracias provides also. I've had other places too that hand you a heavy monster burrito and are as good if not better than Javiers. Now to value - at $8.12 with tax this is by far the most expensive breakfast burrito I have come across from a business that has a take out or drive thru option - fast food type concept. If I'm the area would I consider them for another visit? Sure. I'm always open to trying other menu items too but as for a breakfast burrito. I wouldn't go out of my way again to have theirs.

Two carne asada tacos with the fixings (radish, jalapeños, salsa). Horchata also!

While I originally gave Javiers a 4-star for the loaded meat burritos, I'm sad to adjust it down to a 1.5. During the Covid-19 outbreak I've been making a conscious effort to support local businesses and since I was in the area on Sunday I decided to grab a quesadilla from the drive thru. Nothing fancy, just a little something to support a local shop! Checked my bank account Tuesday to see I was double charged, my one quesadilla came out to just shy of $22. Ok, no big deal, I'll call them and tell them what happened! I spoke to a female and explained my double charge and asked if there was a manager I could speak to. I was told no, they don't have managers and the owner wasn't there. I asked who I could speak to about a refund for the double charge and she flatly replied "no, we don't do that." Ok...? So I called my bank and disputed the charges. Very unhappy and will never be back. Really? Your mistake and no option to fix? Nuts.

If I could give them zero stars I would.. Don't go to Javiers tacos in Vancouver guys! My hubbys coworker found this is his burrito. They went back to complain and the cook said "All the meat is like this". They quickly took the rest of the burrito and threw it away saying they will talk to the meat providers like it's their fault. They took no blame no apology nothing. Edit: The guy who ate this has been throwing up since. He's being treated at the ER.

This is a favorite of mine. I stop in and dine breakfast and lunch mostly. Fast friendly and delicious food. They have a very good selection of soups to try. They have a drive through but the wait can be long. I recommend dining inside.

Individual fish taco $2.99

The food is pretty mediocre. Honestly very similar to Muchas Gracias but not as good in my opinion. My main issue is I ordered from Postmates (which I get freshness is always an issue with delivery) but I didn't get what I ordered. I'll post pics and let me know what you think... you can buy fish tacos individually and also what appears to be a combo as it is under their combinations section (pictures tacos WITH rice and beans for $10.74) I got only two fish tacos no sides. Luckily postmates refunded me but would've rather had the sides ... not a great experience. For positives the horchata was good.

What a sleeper!! Outstanding service! Our host sat us and brought us chips and salsa quickly, then within a few minutes we actually had one of the owners, Josè, come by and ask how we heard about the place and take our drink orders. He explained that this is their second location (first one is in West Linn), they don't use any MSG or frozen food, and they only have one fried dish on their menu. We ordered house margaritas and taquitos from the happy hour menu, and the molcajete. Everything was fresh and delicious! We got a 2nd round of margaritas, they make their own mix in house and they were so tasty! We went at 5pm, so they weren't super busy yet, but there were still quite a few tables filled. The place is bright and clean.

Tried this place for the first time…read more Hotel receptionist said she'd never eaten here. I should have taken that as a subtle recommendation. The good: plenty of parking, plenty of seating. Spanish speaking staff. Warm chips and good salsa. Decent rice and beans. The not so good: taco shells were not made on site, seem to be from a package. The margarita was not tasty, the mix was off and the house tequila was not so good. I could only finish half of it. Being my first time, I asked for her recommendation from the hostess on what to order? Instead of rising to the occasion, she immediately said I don't eat meat then proceeded to tell me about all the high dollar meat items. lol I could not take her recommendation to heart. I went with a somewhat safe bet of two crunchy tacos. The rice and beans were decent. The shells were crispy but flavorless. The salsa and chips were decent. The chips were warm. I finished the two tacos half the margarita and left. Would I go back here again? Probably not, with so many places to eat in this area, but I had to give it a shot. I overheard the table next to me complaining about their fajitas. The gentleman said "this is just Chuck steak" and I had to laugh out loud before I left. Disclaimer. I live in San Diego and judge Mexican food for its face value. I was not impressed. But maybe be i was there on an off night?

Bland...just very bland food. I love combo platters for the variety. Ordered from the "build your…read moreown plate" menu. Got two items with sides of rice and beans. Everything seemed freshly made and very hot. But there was very little flavor to speak of. The refried beans were just glop (when did Mexican restaurants start using this runny paste?) Rice was fluffy, but I topped everything with salsa to add some flavor. There was a side of white stuff that looked like sour cream but wasn't (crema of some sort?). It was slick on the tongue and had NO flavor. (see the pattern here?) Hub's dish was just chopped veg and chicken in some sauce. Truly, the best part of the meal was the hot chips and salsa. Staff was nice. Place was clean enough, but a bit musty smelling in the entry way. Don't think I'll be coming back...I make better at home and for less than $40, for lunch, for two people.
