My husband picked up an agua Di. Pina, for my daughter, but when we got it home, it turned out to be horchata. I went back and told the girl the mistake. The drink was full and still had ice. She told me I should have called before I came in. Then she told me, I needed to come in tomorrow morning. I told her no, it's just a drink. I would like it replaced, please. She refused so I took pictures of the sign and the hours on the window. So that I could call and the worker came to the window. And started taking pictures of me saying that she will take pictures of me too. The manager finally told her she needed to replace my drink.She was not happy. This place has always had a problem. We don't eat there because of the rats, but we do get drinks. When you go through the drive through, you can literally see the rats running around. I have never been treated this way over a drink. They can keep their rats, they can keep their pineapple water, and they can keep their pictures of me. They are absolute filth filthy place. read more

I really hate to give them only 1 stars. But a major issue. I grab a breakfast burrito from the drive through as I'm hungry and on my way to work. I prefer to get hot sauce, but because I'm driving I opted out. I carefully unwrap one end of the burrito and take a bite. It is apparent on first bit of the food here that corners are being cut everywhere. The chicken tastes like it was bought in giant bags of pre-boiled breasts, defrosted, and chopped. It was rubbery and had no flavor. I don't like to give negative reviews, but when the food shows so little effort and respect for customers I feel like it is deserving. read more

I've been meaning to try Javier's for a while now and finally got around to having one of their breakfast burritos. I like to compare overall quality and value of a traditional chorizo breakfast burrito with other businesses in the area to see who has the best burrito. To start with, this burrito was good but not great compared to places Ike Muchas Gracias which tends to be my go to area business when I'm unable to try another business's offerings. Decent but the weight of it was far less than Muchas Gracias provides also. I've had other places too that hand you a heavy monster burrito and are as good if not better than Javiers. Now to value - at $8.12 with tax this is by far the most expensive breakfast burrito I have come across from a business that has a take out or drive thru option - fast food type concept. If I'm the area would I consider them for another visit? Sure. I'm always open to trying other menu items too but as for a breakfast burrito. I wouldn't go out of my way again to have theirs. read more

During the Covid-19 outbreak I've been making a conscious effort to support local businesses and since I was in the area on Sunday I decided to grab a quesadilla from the drive thru. Nothing fancy, just a little something to support a local shop! Checked my bank account Tuesday to see I was double charged, my one quesadilla came out to just shy of $22. Ok, no big deal, I'll call them and tell them what happened! I spoke to a female and explained my double charge and asked if there was a manager I could speak to. I was told no, they don't have managers and the owner wasn't there. I asked who I could speak to about a refund for the double charge and she flatly replied "no, we don't do that." Ok...? If I could give them zero stars I would.. Don't go to Javiers tacos in Vancouver guys! My hubbys coworker found this is his burrito. They went back to complain and the cook said "All the meat is like this". They quickly took the rest of the burrito and threw it away saying they will talk to the meat providers like it's their fault. They took no blame no apology nothing. This is a favorite of mine. I stop in and dine breakfast and lunch mostly. Fast friendly and delicious food. They have a very good selection of soups to try. They have a drive through but the wait can be long. I recommend dining inside. read more

My main issue is I ordered from Postmates (which I get freshness is always an issue with delivery) but I didn't get what I ordered. This place is amazing. There are many Mexican joints in Vancouver, but this one has won my heart. The hours are very accommodating. They're open til midnight. I work swing shift so they're always open to supply me delicious dinners on the way home when I'm feeling lazy. The food is great. Their soft chicken tacos are amazing.
