I ordered the chicken fajita combo plate and the beef and shrimp burrito. The fajita was overloaded with vegetables and the chicken was diced so small that you can barely tell if there was any in there. For the price I paid I'd expect a little more out of it. I'm always all for a good Mexican place but the price has to match the product and vice versa. The place was decent with a clean eating area and the staff was also friendly. I love a good story when a popular food truck gets so popular that they get to move into a brick-and-mortar building. Such is the case with Los Bros Taco Shop. Tucked in a small strip of stores in the gigantic parking lot housing a Lowes and a empty building that was a JC Penney, not to mention a bevy of other restaurants, Los Bros is a shining light in a parking lot full of chain restaurants. The menu is simple with all the usual stuff you would expect to see from a Mexican place. Tacos, of course, but also nachos, quesadillas, burritos and all the proteins to go inside of those. We tried a flight of different tacos with different meats and everything was quite tasty. However, the standout to me was the Al Pastor followed by the carne asada and the carnitas. I have been told after the fact by friends that they serve a really fine Torta sandwich as well and I want to try that next time. read more

I decided to try this place because it was close to where I was and I heard it was good. Unfortunately I didn't have a very good experience. The taco meat (chicken and steak) were dry little minuscule pieces (probably chopped up) and the crunchy beef taco had no flavor (like previous reviews had mentioned). Terrible service and tasteless food. I only decided to come check this place out for the many great reviews. But I am confused.. To start the lady taking our order was rude, couldn't even greet us and seemed inconvenienced by us. I ordered chilaquiles with no meat and my husband got a cali burrito. Mine stated it came with scrambled eggs and they gave me runny over easy eggs. I can't eat that as I am pregnant so I had to send it back. We both couldn't finish our food because of how disappointed we were. There was absolutely no flavor in either dishes. It was truly the worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. And that is coming from someone who is Mexican and has had a lot of Mexican food. The burrito had zero taste and seasoning. The meat to the onions were bland. The chilaquiles red sauce was also bitter and lacked flavor especially salt. In the pictures you can see where we stopped eating.. Also even the salsas were completely watered down as you can see in the pictures. I tried all 3 and to no surprise no taste. I truly cannot recommend this place based on all these factors. Tried this place for the first time. My order was streak fajita burrito. It was overly salty but the gross part was seeing grease dripping down heavily (as you can see on the video). I couldn't eat it but bring it home and put it in the fridge to show you the solidified grease. read more

Stopped in for a quick dinner with a friend. This is basic casual, almost fast food Mexican restaurant. It has quite a few choices on the menu, but it's not a full-service place. You order at the counter, bus your own table, etc. I had the Crispy taco plate which included 2 tacos, rice and beans. It was pretty good! I chose chicken for my tacos. The portions were generous with lots of shredded chicken, crispy lettuce, etc. The rice and beans were not huge portions but adequate. The tacos shells were fried nicely, but just a bit greasy. The chicken was not seasoned very much, pretty bland. Not bad, just ordinary. I thought the rice was fine but the beans were a bit overstated. My friend had the chilaquiles and she loved them. I searched for a place with positive reviews overall, and this place seemed pretty good. I found the Beef Supreme Burrito to be a bit lacking in flavor. It wasn't really "bland", but it wasn't really popping with Beef and seasonings that one would expect. I also ordered a 6 pack of Chicken Taquitos but had only three in the container. They were also lacking in seasonings. Everything looked great, and shop was very neat and clean. The staff were extremely nice, offering condiments and utensils. The restaurant was okay. The only available booth was dirty so we ended up having to sit by the windows/front. Staff was friendly and very nice and patient. We ordered a taco plate, fajita burrito and chips and salsa. The taco plate was good. I did carne asada and chicken. The carne asada was good, but the chicken didn't taste as flavorful. The fajita burrito was delicious! And the chips and salsa was not worth over $7. The salsa was just a small tub of pico de gallo and it had no flavor at all. Ended up dumping my salsa into it to give it flavor. Will probably come back again to try their breakfast items. read more

Quick and Friendly service! After we ordered, I think we waited 10 minutes and our food was already ready.! They also have a serve yourself station with lime, pickled veg, and salsa. Which is nice. This is my second visit. I was going to review after the first visit, but my experience was not ideal, and thought I'd give them a second chance. On my first visit, I had three tacos. One beef, one pork, and one fish. I figure if a taco shop gets those three right, then they are my kind of taco shop. Unfortunately, all three tacos were dry and lacking flavor. I had to smother them in salsa just to add moisture enough to swallow. I figured they were new in business and still working out the kinks, so I held off reviewing. I returned today and thought I'd try the chili relleno and enchilada plate. It comes with beans and rice on the side. The beans and rice were the average type you get at any other fast food place. The enchilada (chicken) was dry and without flavor, just like my previous visit. The best part of the dish was the chili relleno. It was moist and cheesy and actually had a bit of heat and flavor. They staff is friendly, and the place is clean. During peak hours, it may be hard to find a seat for dine in. Having tried it twice now with mediocre results, I'm afraid I'm going to have to stick with the taco shops that do it a bit better. At 22 bucks for this plate and a soda for lunch, I just don't see the value. read more

OK, so this spot just opened up, next to the Burger King in the Lowe's area. I've been wanting to go in there and try it so today I did :-) I had only a crispy shredded beef taco. I was not that hungry this time and wanted to see what it was all about. Let me tell you that was so so good. The shredded beef is tender and not dry. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The taco shell, oh the taco shell crunch crunch Yum Yum. They have a salsa bar. They make all their own salsa and they are delicious. I actually even loved their carrot condiment. It's a little spicy, of course, but not too much. Spot on. The service was outstanding. The place is bright and clean. Their restroom was clean as well bonus! My husband loves California burrito. My partner and I decided to stop in this morning to give Los Bros Taco Shop and their breakfast burritos a try. The folks working here were friendly and the options plentiful (the majority of their options are for lunch/dinner). The space is large and welcoming. We both got bacon breakfast burritos and made sure to grab some of their mild green salsa from their salsa bar. The burritos were a little dry, however, the salsa was amazing and made the meal. This place is awful. I ordered 10 tacos, 2 sides of rice & beans, and a Chimichanga. I picked up the food right at the time I was told it would be ready, and it was completely cold when I got home 5 minutes later. The carnitas was some of the worst I've ever had. It's like they scraped together the last little dried out and totally over cooked bits from the corner of the container and threw them into the 8 carnitas tacos I ordered. We only ate a couple of them and tossed out the rest. The 2 shrimp tacos I ordered were OK, but nothing special and pretty bland. The Al Pastor Chimichanga was entirely inedible. I paid extra to add 3 extra items into the Chimichanga, which they charged me for but didn't add to the Chimichanga, and the Al Pastor was horrible. It was nothing but tiny little super crunchy and borderline burnt pieces of pork that was so salty I spit out the first bite. I tried another bite from the middle of the Chimichanga and spit out too because it was even worse. We threw almost all of it in the garbage. The only thing that was decent was the rice and beans. I would definitely not ever got here again or recommend it to anyone. read more

Omg how is this a thing? Decided to try it, 1 beef and 1 chicken taco and a bean tostada! 1 bite into the beef taco and it was bland as all hell! No flavor at all! It's like they just cooked the meat in water with no salt or seasonings. Threw it away. Bit into the chicken taco. Spot it up immmediately. Tasted like old Grease and the chicken was bland as hell also. Like no flavor but grease in this nasty taco ewww straight to the trash! Went to try the tostada! The only flavor the beans had was probably from leftover cleaning product they used to clean the dishes.... It tasted chemically and the tostada shell itself was greasy also. I ordered through Uber. They forgot one of my Agua Frescas, which aren't real Agua Frescas, as in made with actual fruit. It was just melon flavored. The steak and shrimp burrito (only one when the picture looks like two) was salty, had little shrimp or cheese, and was missing the guacamole and onions I paid extra for. The guacamole for the chips was watery. Considering the poor quality they're way overpriced. $9.95 for the chips and guacamole, $15.95 for a single burrito before the add ons, and $5.50 for the drink. So not worth it. read more

And the salsa bar fully stocked to top it all off.
