We eat at Javis at least once a week! The service is stellar, the food always hits the spot, and so reasonably priced!

This is my first time going to this particular location and it was a little bit confusing how they had their hours advertised. The drive-through is open longer, but when we went, they had all the lights off on the board, but would still take an order. I ended up ordering a Sope, chips and queso, and a Marg. The food was all pretty good. The Marg was a little disappointing and tasted very sweet like mix. read more

This was a local feel chipotle with a lot better food. I got the street taco plate and was pleasantly surprised. Loved that I could build my own and didn't have to feel stressed about asking for special toppings (I can't eat raw tomato) and I felt like I wasn't asking for special treatment with the build your own format. My friend and I made a late night stop into Javis for some tacos. The workers were very kind, but I felt like the menu was confusing on what was in each taco. It felt like we were ordering blind as we didn't know what ingredients were in each. I ended up ordering Javis tacos, but it really was just a basic taco with meat and cheese. You have the option to add more ingredients if you'd like. The environment of the restaurant was very clean, great for groups! My son wanted birria tacos, and we were in the local area. We walked right up and placed our orders with the very nice employees. A nick fast casuasl taco joint off 204th. Huge space with a large kitchen and plenty of seating. My husband and I went in for breakfast. I got a burrito bowl and it was good...the second time...because I made the dire mistake of putting the hottest hot sauce on my bowl. I was crying out my nose lol and luckily the staff was super understanding and remade my bowl for me. I could actually appreciate the great flavors and meat because I could taste again. Absolutely obsessed with the Birria from Javis. I have tried the tacos version and the "individual" quesadilla version and they're both spectacular but I will come again and again for the quesadilla. That thing is HUGE I can't imagine what the larger size would look like because the individual can already feed a small family. Delicious! Yum! What a great experience. Just north of Dodge on 204th street Javi's newest location is located for east drive thru or parking access for dine in. All orders are customized with the freshest ingredients ; their guacamole and salsas (all heat levels so watch out!) are awesome. The restaurant is open and very clean. The service is wonderful and exceptionally friendly. Pricing is reasonable for the wonderful food provided. We stopped in for a midday snack and we're not disappointed. We stopped in to try the new Javi's tacos location in Elkhorn over the weekend and were super impressed. The size of the restaurant and location are both accommodating and perfect for the area! It's set up similar to other casual Mexican restaurants in the area - order your entree at the start of the line, they prepare it in front of you, then move down the line to select your toppings. One great thing about here is that you can select your size of dip if ordering chips or just a side. A larger size just costs $2 more which isn't bad at all. As for entrees, we tried the chicken quesadilla, steak (asada) Gordita, and beef/chicken tacos. All were prepared fresh, and were hot when we arrived home (we did take out). The quesadillas are HUGE and very filling with loads of whatever meat you choose. Definitely would recommend. The tacos were just the right amount of toppings to not fall apart but still be flavorful. And lastly, the Gordita was something new I hadn't tried before. It's a deep fried pastry sliced in half and stuffed with toppings. It was flaky, crispy, and super good. If you go for lunch, expect a wait because this place is delicious! read more

I like bowls at chipotle better, however my husband thought his was better than chipotle. We ordered chips and guac as well and I felt the chips definitely needed some salt. I had the Al pastor burrito and it was very good. One of the better burritos I have had in Omaha. The one problem I had though was that I found three pieces of hot dog in my burrito. On 204th, it's actually a bit tricky getting there. Use a navigator to avoid drama. Once there, parking is easy. We had street tacos, nachos, and cocktails. The meal is served from the counter, showing all how they can choose the components of their tacos and nachos. They make their own tortillas, which is a bonus, as they were tasty. Excited to have a Javi's on the north side of town! The restaurant is large and even has a drive thru! On this last visit, I finally strayed away from my usual nachos order, and tried the birria taco platter. It is so much food! Three tacos stuffed with the tender meat and cheese, served with rice. The depth of flavor in the meat is amazing, nice and cheesy, with a perfectly crisp shell. So good! I love the addition of radishes to their platters, really takes the crunch up a notch. We have been coming to this restaurant for the past month. Every time we were there they offered excellent customer service and yummy consistent food. All staff are super friendly and courteous! We ordered the street tacos and we have always been very happy with the taste and quality. Our kids love their churros. The three flavors we love are, caramel, strawberry, & Bavarian cream.
