Worthless! I bought my car from here and assumed they would take care of me, so I took my car into the shop to replace my door after an accident, from there I waited 2 months for them to repair it only to find out the door was still not fixed and a trunk full of miscellaneous parts. So I take it back, then am rudely and unprofessionally told excuses by Sean (an owning partner) who reluctantly admits fault and says they'll repair it, 5 more visits later and my cars door is still messed up. Each visit I was given more rude and unprofessional behavior by Sean. I will never give them any more of my time and money and tell everyone I know not to as well. If you want your car not fixed, and a conversation with a pompous, arrogant and unhelpful excuse for a managing partner I recommend jay wolfe body shop. read more

Dropped my Toyota Landcruiser at the Jay Wolfe Toyota dealer on the weekend of June 7, 2024, where they changed oil, put on tires and then transferred it for me over to the Jay Wolfe Body Shop on Barry Road in Kansas City to fix hail damage that was done during a recent storm. After 2 months (with little to no communication on their part I might add), I picked up my vehicle on August 16. The back had dust all over it and my steering wheel and dash face had damage that was worse than when I had dropped it off. I sent an email cc.ing several people with pictures about this issue and requested photos. They sent me their photos and the manager, Sean, called me and had me come in. We met on Aug 21, where we looked at my vehicle and he asked when could they have it to get it detailed I said that depended on what else they were taking care of and he asked me to come inside and review the photos. After reviewing the photos he pointed out the damage that was already there which I never denied but I also pointed it out and showed it to him that it was much worse than it was when I took it in there. He claimed even though it could have gotten worse, although he wasn't saying it did, that was something that could happen. And the worst photo he shows me is taken July 3, almost a month after they had it! I said so I should expect my vehicle to come back worse? I mean my steering went from a few tears to being completely ripped all the way around. I asked if what he was saying was they are not taking care of any of this and he replied that after speaking to his other manager, no. I simply replied we were done then and I left the shop. So, if you have any wear and tear on your vehicle and it gets worse after they've had it, don't expect them to own up to it. Also, expect your vehicle to have dust in it and on all your things which I was never told may have been a possibility or I would have taken my stuff out of it). To be fair, he did offer a detail. Sorry, after this experience I want them nowhere near the inside of my vehicle again. What is most unbelievable to me is that there is photo evidence of all of this and still they refuse to take any responsibility for any of it except some dust. I will never use Jay Wolfe Body Shop again, nor will I ever go back to the dealership either. read more

The worst experience I have ever had they will lie to there customers about work that has been performed and if you also don't mind being without a car for 2 months for a 6 day repair this is the place for you I still don't have my car so I can't speak to the quality I'm execpectains are not high read more

I dropped My car on December 6th, 2021 for minor car accident. They did not look at the car for 3 days ( I get notifications to my phone). I called the person on December 8th and he said he will look at the car and will submit a supplement to insurance company the same day. I called the insurance company to get a rental on December 9th, they told me they did not get supplement but will provide rental. I assumed that Jay Wolfe staff is working on it. I called the JW on 15th, and I am told they will send supplement that day. I was very optimistic on this. On December 17th, I received a phone call from insurance company and they were asking to return rental car. Because Jay Wolfe did not submit any supplement yet. This was day 11th. This time I talked with manager he said he will call insurance and send supplement the same day. Thanks God, they did. I received another phone call from insurance company on 23rd and they were asking return to car. Their concern was body shop does not professionally communicate. Sending supplement should not take 11days. So this is the body shop delay. They try to call Jay Wolfe agent many times and he did not return any calls.( I also called him his direct line and was not successful. He does not pick up or return voice mail, I had to call central office number and connect). During holiday season I do not have my car or rental. read more

Hello, I would rate this business 1 out of 5. I had some minor damage repair and they fixed the bumper incorrectly. I went back to have them fix it correctly and he just popped the bumper in with his hand and sent me in my way with a dirty car. I had to take it to a different shop to make sure it was repaired correctly. Go to a place that actually cares about their customers. read more

I had gotten in a minor accident, not a whole lot of damage, mostly cosmetic, and I also needed a fog/blinker light that got damaged to my new 2018 vehicle. I was told that they would order the parts on monday and they would contact me about what was going on. This place never contacted , my vehicle was at their shop for two weeks. I had to get me husband involved to call them and get a straight answer. After my husband and I decided to take the vehicle somewhere else that when the body shop decided to change their story. I told them that I felt that they need to communicate with people better. The guy, who was helping me out was like " well I called you like 5 times in a week". I just looked at him and left. This guy never called me at all. I had to call them. I would avoid going to this place at all. Totally screwed me over. I would not recommend. read more
