Tried this this evening, had the shrimp fries which was super hot and fresh, really enjoyed my meal. The shrimp was tasty, and I did request less chipotle mayo. They gave a side of chili oil sauce which was super delicious and spicy.

    Chrispy tofu taco

Just went to their taco truck at the Melrose Trading Post this weekend and it was bomb! Never had tofu tacos before, but I would definitely go back if I'm around. Even though I took out the cabbage, because my belly not friends with cabbage, was still very delicious and chrispy. They added pico de gallo, cilantro, corn, some raddish and a bit spicy mayo and with the fried tofu it was just perfect for a sunday afternoon snack.

Whenever Sarah's Market has pop-ups and I'm available, I usually head down there to support the small businesses. Since today is Good Friday lots of people will most likely be having Seafood for dinner. My default for seafood is usually Taco Nazo, but the lines are always long on fish Fridays. So I decided to try another vendor. I wasn't exactly close to East LA at the time and there was no phone number available on their Instagram but there was an option to text them so I figured that was the best way to give them my order so I can just drive by to pick it up since there's not alot of parking in front of the market. I was answered back promptly which I appreciated. They answered all my questions and I had an order in by the time I left the house. I pulled up and let them know I was there and the nice lady even came out and brought them directly to my car! There wasn't a lot of places to park and eat so I drove three major blocks till I got near this park I usually eat my meals at. I had the shrimp tacos first and while they didn't have the traditional white crema sauce, the one that was there in its place more than made up for it! What surprised me too was a strip of thinly cut (I'm assuming zucchini) that was inside the taco as well! The more veggies the better the way I look at it! The shrimp wasn't battered which was the greatest surprise of all, which means I didn't have to fight through batter to get the taste of shrimp that I wanted, and I definitely got that taste in these tacos! When it was time for the fish, the taste was just as welcoming as the shrimp ones! My only con was that because I drove far before actually eating them instead of eating them on the spot, the tortillas did get cool before anything else did. Other than that it was a great experience!

    Funnel cake $5

Found this place on yelp while on the hunt for funnel cake and I must say it did not disappoint. The funnel cake was delicious and it was not greasy. I will definitely be coming back again. I also tried their own spin on the dragon drink from Starbucks and it was tasty not too sweet and so refreshing for this heat. What I did appreciate the most was how friendly the staff was.

Their pastor meat is sooo delicious, especially on the sandwich. Please come back to Glendora again!

Wow! I cannot begin to say what a gem this place is. Tacos are fully loaded with so much goodness and the quesadilla was not your ordinary quesadilla. I actually don't even live near here, but found it on Instagram and was eyeing it for a few weeks until I decided to drive the half an hour to try and man, was it worth it. The staff is so nice too. Planning on coming here consistently.

The food is consistently excellent, and it's easy to see why there's always a steady line of customers. The tortillas are made fresh by hand, and the birria always tastes like it was prepared that day. While it can take a little time to receive your order, that's part of what makes the food so good--you can tell everything is made fresh rather than sitting under a heat lamp. We've tried a variety of menu items over the years, including the asada tacos, goat birria, beef birria, birria ramen, and even the chicken quesadillas . Everything we've ordered has been flavorful and well-prepared. They recently started offering aguas frescas, which are delicious and pair perfectly with the food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they're generous with the salsas, letting you choose whichever sauces you prefer with your tacos. Don't skip dessert, either. We recently tried the gelatin dessert they started selling, and it was surprisingly delicious. Great food, fair prices, friendly service, and consistently fresh ingredients. We highly recommend La Autentica Birrieria and will continue coming back weekend after weekend.

We were already in the…read morearea looking for tacos and usually go to stands farther west around Northridge or Granada Hills, so we figured we'd try something different. We got six tacos between the asada and al pastor, plus a queso burrito with asada. Everything was really good. My fiancée noticed that they were making the tortillas by hand right there, which was a nice touch and definitely made a difference. I especially liked the al pastor, and the queso burrito was really good too and pretty filling. I also liked that they actually have a big menu with the prices clearly posted. Not every taco stand makes the pricing that easy to see. The tacos were $3.25 each and the queso burrito was $13.50. Our total was $36.22 after tax. I will say the tacos are a little pricier than what we're personally used to. At some of the taco stands we normally go to, we're used to paying around $2 to $3 per taco, so $3.25 stood out a little. That said, the food was good enough that I didn't feel disappointed with what we paid. The only other small thing was the salsa. They ask if you want everything on the tacos and put the salsa on for you, while we're more used to taco stands giving you salsa on the side at the end. I'm sure you can ask for some separately, but since we were taking everything home and didn't ask, I just used some salsa we already had. Not really a complaint, just something I'd remember next time. Overall, we really liked the food and would come back. Since we're still trying different taco stands around the area, we'll probably keep exploring too, but Angel's was a good first stop.

That was a bit disappointing because I ended up paying almost $40 for two quesadillas, which feels pretty expensive compared to other street food places in the area. The food was okay, but I wouldn't call it especially tasty or memorable On the positive side, the mango juice was really good, and I enjoyed the outdoor seating it had a nice atmosphere and was a pleasant place to relax. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I don't think the food justified the price

We ordered to-go with a group of three friends (so a good amount of food) and it took less than 15 minutes. Honestly, not a bad wait time! The salsa bar in the front? Solid selections and the salsas complemented everything perfectly. Service was kind and they take both cash and card. A few things to keep in mind--the space is on the smaller side and it's mostly outdoor seating. With summer coming up (and spring already feeling hot), just know it can get warm out there. There is shade, but I don't remember seeing fans. So maybe plan for takeout if it's a scorcher! Parking is street parking. If you know Glendale, you know it can be a little tricky. We ended up parking in a residential area and walked about two minutes, so not bad at all. But honestly? It's worth it. The quantity of food for the price is fair, the wait time is quick, and I've been wanting to go back ever since my homegirl put me on to this place. Not long ago, we had some amazing tacos at the Beverly Hills location, so we wanted to give the Burbank location a try as well. Even though we had already eaten quite a few snacks earlier that day and weren't very hungry, we were still curious to see how this location compared. My mom really wanted to order the shrimp taco because she remembered how much she had enjoyed it before. However, the menu indicated that it was spicy. So, I asked if they could make it non-spicy or serve the spicy sauce on the side instead, but he explained that the taco is prepared with the spice already included, so they weren't able to do that. We then asked if they had any other seafood tacos. That's when we found out they had a ceviche taco as the special of the day, so we ordered two of those. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful, although it was a little saltier than we expected. Even so, every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly. The employee who took our order especially stood out. He was genuinely kind and welcoming from beginning to end. While I was eating, I realized the ceviche taco was much larger than I expected, and I got full before I could finish it. I asked for a to-go box, but I couldn't figure out how to close the lid. The employee immediately helped me close it with a smile. They were just as friendly during the ordering process as they were afterward, and their excellent customer service really made our visit enjoyable. I would definitely come back to try some of their other tacos in the future.
