What happened to this place? I've been going there for years and the last time I was there was a year ago. I had put a bad review because the burrito I ordered had nothing in it! I started to go to tacos el venado instead. Today, I decided to give another shot hoping the last time I was there was just a bad day. Nope, same burrito with no meat, beans, rice, onions and cilantro was not existed. In fact it's worse now! Service isn't great, price of burrito is ridiculously high and the salsa bar now has just salsa with potato's? You have to ask for bags or ask the cashier for salsa? Red and green salsa doesn't even make any difference because they're both watered down with no flavor. Only difference is the color of the salsa. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it didn't live up to the expectation. I want to start off mentioning they have great customer service, really a 10/10 there, the food itself didn't match that. We ordered a few tacos and their loaded fries. Across the board all of their meats were very dry and a few lacking in flavor. The chile verde was probably the best of the bunch due to it being smothered in sauce but that being said the meat itself was tough. The al pastor was passable with salsa added. The carnitas, chicken, and Lengua were all a pass, especially the Lengua which had next to no flavor and was so tough. The loaded fries were good when you had a mix of everything on the fork but It did need salsa added. All 3 of their salsas had really good flavor but do note that none really had a high spice level. 5 tacos and the loaded fries came out to $37 but nothing we had would entice a return visit. read more

Tiny little spot, but solid. I ordered the chicken and Carne Asada Soft Tacos, which were tasty. I also ordered a Crunchy Asada Taco and a Bean & Cheese Burrito. The shell for the taco came out cracked and split down the middle. This made eating it difficult, but it was still good. The burrito was my least favorite, as it didn't really have much flavor at all, but I still ate it. The salsa bar has some decent offerings. Both the roja and verde salsas were very good. This was one of my to-go places before but not anymore , the lady in the front is kind of rude sometimes seems like she is pressuring you while you're trying to decide what to get ... As a customer I want to eat in a clean place but this is not the one ... the first impression that you got there when you came in is the trash lying around or the dirty tables , ughhh ! Music is too loud , tables are dirty and they're talking all the time kind of yelling at each other !!! . They don't care about their customers who want to eat in a good environment . Ate here a few times before food is good , service was great the only complaint here is to watch out for what they charge you for they have 2 menus with price listing meals right above in display as you enter , but they are both wrong according to staff, versus what the actual cash register charges you it's super confusing and annoying , the girl working there was super nice and apologetic when I asked why I was being charged a complete different cost ?? There's actually 3 different prices she mentioned they where going thru a transition not sure of what ?? But the manager needs to get their job done right to avoid confusion, I also noticed the portion very small compared to other times ,taste was great , NOT the multiple price confusion and their smaller portions , honestly I was just hungry to go elsewhere, but definitely I won't be back there - I hope this helps someone out there. read more

The service was very nice, however the menudo gave me food poisoning for about a week. Tasted like it was probably old and the meat was basically all pieces of slimy fat and barely any tripe. I've come here before for burritos and they're good, just pass on their menudo. read more

We came here since we saw they had lengua on the menu! We got Lengua tacos, Al Pastor tacos and Carne Asada Super tacos. The regular tacos comes with onion and cilantro. The Super tacos actually has guac, sour cream and cheese along with the onion and cilantro. The menu needs to be updated since it has the same description for both items. The Al Pastor was delicious, great flavor! They skimped out on the meat for that if you ask me, but probably because it's so good. The Lengua was good too. The Carne Asada as a Super Taco really puts it together. I recommend getting at least 1 Super Taco. They also have a salsa bar with 3 types of salsa, limes and radishes. What a waste of money and drive time over to this place. I got a chicken burrito that was full of hard gritty burnt chicken totally inedible. Fish tacos are white washed with weird gauce sauce. French fries are hard and old. For 56$ I threw most of it away. I would call to complain but they don't give a crap I'm sure. And I don't think I'll ever go back here. I hope whoever now owns/runs this place sees this because they need to save this place. I've gone here for 8 years and somehow it's taken a big turn in the last year. I could make this much longer but the main thing we've noticed is they barely heat up the food any more . The taco tortillas are barely heated on the griddle and the meat is barely heated up as well. We've had to finish heating up/cooking the food ourselves when we got it home (and we live close by). This place never disappoints! I love their tacos, fresh ingredients, yummy pastor (my fave)! They have a great selection of proteins to choose from. I had their cheese enchilada last week and their super nachos with pastor today. I visit here maybe 3-5 times a month! The salsas are so good, I go with the green salsa since it's the least spiciest. The burritos are a nice size and they pack the tacos with a generous amount of meat. The salsa bar has a nice variety of salsas and tortilla chips come complimentary with every meal.
