On the last days before (sat) Xmas 2012 they had a first come first serve opening day and the place looked like black friday at Walmart. This is honestly the best barbershop I've ever been to. I moved down to SoCal for a little and didn't find anything and now I'm up at Davis. Every other barber honestly sucks. All three barbers are really chill, I used to get my hair cut by Jerry really good guy. I'm boutta head back this weekend hopefully if they got time to get a cut. I was recommended to go to this barbershop by a friend in high school. I've been going here for years now. I would recommended ANY barber there Jerry, David, Ronnie, and Victor, for they all have years of solid experiece. Recently, my work schedule unfortunately didn't allow me to book an appointment when they were open so I had to find another barber shop but I was never satisfied. Today I was able to come in as soon as Jaydees opened shop. The barber who cut me was, Victor. Cleaned me up and gave me a nice taper fade. JayDee's Classic Barber Shop is by far the best barber shop around! I have been a customer since they opened up, and I always make my appointments with Ronnie. Ronnie is good at any haircut, pays very close attention to detail, and gives a consistently perfect haircut every time. But it really doesn't matter which barber you go to, they are all equally as good. read more

This reincarnation of the old "Panther" barbershop in the historic Rivertown District is a real gem. The new owners, Jerry and David (hence JayDee) are true craftsmen and you get a great haircut from any of the barbers there. It's a throwback to the days of a great haircut in a cool old shop and a welcome addition to Antioch. Old school meets young energy, a winning combo. Only problem is it is usually BUSY.
