Sadly, i didn't research as much as I maybe shouldve. They bid about $3000 higher than 2 other quotes i had recieved (one of which was also a GAF certified roofer offering the same certifications) . After i signed, then they would not price match for some lame reason or even consider lowering the cost or including doing drip edge flashing which the other company offered to do at the lower price. Come to find out as well, they did not recommend it, or consider installing drip edge flashing when i didn't have any at all on the roof which i wasnt aware of. When the roof was off i could definitely see some fascia rotting adn damage, so i get to do that myself now instead of when its easiest to do with the roof off.... The actual roof itself seems to have been done well, which for the price it better have been. but I can't help but feel i overpayed and was underdelivered...

Also, sales rep was unprofessional, deriding the roof job, telling me that the roofers did not use synthetic felt or over-ice water shield: both of these are clearly in the original contract. And criticized the stepped flashing (claiming that hem sealed flashing is superior and stepped flashing is a downgrade): did some digging, and stepped flashing is recommended for my particular application. An estimate came to me: the link did not work. After repeated asks, a screen shot came to me. The estimate was very pricey.

They busted one of my windows and cracked another. I brought it up and was told the windows would get replaced, but it's been over a month and they are still broken. 3.) Again it's been over a month and the leftover materials are still sitting in my yard. 4.) They also broke several planters and caused my power to go out which I normally wouldn't be upset about cause things happen and it was easy to cut back on but why not add this in with the rest of the complaints. If these things had been fixed, I wouldn't complain, but I've called several times over these 5 or so weeks and keep getting told it will be corrected within a few days, but it has not been. This mistake caused major damage and left me without AC -- not only an inconvenience but a massive, unexpected expense to repair. When the problem was diagnosed, I contacted Atlantic Craftsman to see if they would help cover a portion of the cost. I would not only need to repair the line they destroyed, but I would also need to have part of my roof taken off to access the pipe. They emailed me back saying that I was on my own and that they wouldn't cover ANY of the repairs. What's worse, the company showed little accountability. They didn't even acknowledge that they made a mistake or say sorry for the problems they caused me. I reached out again asking if they could at least provide me with some extra shingles since I would need to remove a portion of them to repair the pipe. They never responded to my emails or phone calls. The team on site also destroyed my plants and left nails everywhere (resulting in a popped car tire). If you're considering hiring them, beware. Their negligence ended up punishing me more than them.

We reached to the original company that completed our roof, and they refused to come out and resolve the issue(s).
