Stewart Pool Plastering

Stewart Pool Plastering

We originally had our pool built with their Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble with the Puerto Rico Blend, and after the acid wash, the seashells, glass bead designs, and vibrant blue-green tones shine even more beautifully than when the pool was first completed. The sparkle and reflection in the water are absolutely stunning. Stewart's Pool Plastering offers a wide variety of mini pebble color choices and takes the time to explain every step of the process. From start to finish, they were honest, professional, on time, and respectful of our home and property. The crew cleaned up thoroughly after the job and made the entire experience stress-free. What truly stands out is that they are a family-owned company that provides hometown friendliness while still delivering top-quality workmanship at prices that beat competitors. It's hard to find companies today with this level of integrity, communication, and customer care. We highly recommend Stewart's Pool Plastering to anyone looking for pool plastering, mini pebble finishes, or pool restoration services. Our pool looks absolutely amazing, and we couldn't be happier with the results!

My partner and I needed our pool resurfaced, BADLY. The tile was outdated and stained. The sky blue…read morepainted surface looked dull and was peeling and cracking. Pioneer Pools did a great job! They showed up on time and did everything in a timely fashion. Everyone we met was friendly and professional through the entire process. We now have a pool that looks brand new and so inviting! The updated pebble surface looks wonderful! It reminds me of a tropical lagoon. The tile we picked is gorgeous. We can't wait for summer to roll around (who says that in Tucson, AZ?!?) I have included some before and after photos. I am truly impressed at how amazing the pool looks now!

Bruce, the owner and Dane, the project manager came out initially to look at the scope of our project. They are knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with, and offered suggestions. During the course of the project they came by to check on the progress and were very involved. We also worked closely with Grant, the general manager, with regards to the bid, the timeline, and any questions we had. I cannot praise this company enough. The crew worked hard, were meticulous with the work performed, and made the overall experience first rate. We praise and highly recommend Pioneer Pools for your pool renovation project. You will not be disappointed.

It took somewhere around 1.5 years from start to finish to get this project done. Likely not their norm and just another reminenet of the pandemic. Communication was spotty and a source of frustration through the process. We ran into issues with our tile order and pricing on their end that eventually got resolved, but it was not a small error. Cimarron contracts everything out from the digging to tiling, plastering, etc. It's a very frustrating process and leaves the customer vulnerable to a lot of mistakes and poor quality control. Once the pool was filled we encountered more problems with their install of the filters. I think three starts is being really fair. It felt more like a two but they came through and addressed every single issue we encountered.

Two fellows came out and replaced the GFCI to the light, but it only worked one night. I called and emailed to let them know. They emailed a bill for over $200 and I told them I wouldn't pay until the light worked. The front desk person said the fellows came out twice. No, they didn't. There was no way they could have accessed the light switch without my being here. She was adamant and since I'm not accustomed to lying to people, I got angry. I had emailed the company to let them know when I would be available for the repair, but I've never heard from them again. I guess the $35,000 plus that I paid them for the pool was adequate for them to do the job, but they aren't interested in supporting their product. Not a good business practice.

In fact, it makes me very uncomfortable so I'm gonna…read moredo my best to just give you the facts as I know them and then let you figure it out, but I'm gonna tell you this much right off the bat, buyer beware! I had high hopes. This company had serviced the pond many years ago in the house we just bought. What I ended up getting was two very nice guys who used a pressure washer and a sunk pump to drain my pond and that's it. 75 bucks per hour per guy equaling $150 an hour! My bill was over $1000. I could've purchased all the equipment, including the tubs, pump and washer for far less and done it myself. They couldn't even tell me what kind of fish I have in my pond. I was really disappointed. By late afternoon, I ended up going out and asking when they were going to get to the point of refilling my pond, only to be told that they were still pressure washing out the goop. I said this isn't a pool, this is a pond and I do expect some algae and what not. Only then did they start refilling my pond. And to add insult to injury, they said that "we "have a problem. We! They didn't bring the DEchlorinator!!! When I asked if that might harm my fish or my turtle when being re-introduced to the pond, the response was, "well I hope not"! I couldn't believe my ears. This was a mess from start to finish. To say that I was disappointed in this company is a massive understatement. They told me they installed ponds all the time and direct sunlight and that there's nothing I can do about the algae. Even though shade is the thing to mitigate algae. I asked about plants and other kinds of fish and I expected some of that to arrive with the workers, which did not. $150 per hour.... You'd think that would come with some semblance of expertise, but did not. I'll be honest, I sincerely suggest you look elsewhere if you have a pond and you need some help. I found ponds plants and more off of Ruthrauff and they're amazing. They charge per job, which seems the ethical thing to do unless you're just really trying to fleece people.

One of the young men that serviced my pool was very rude to me as well. I was told not to swim in the pool by them and it was July 4th - the peak of summer.
