Old pool in rough shape needed a face lift plus some updating. Stewart Pool came in and chipped it all out in a day, sent a plumbing expert to make some changes and then re-plastered the pool with some quartz and mica chips in a white finish. It looks great, chemicals balanced and we're back in the swimming mode with an almost new pool. Great Job! read more

The plaster is not of good quality. After only 3 years the plaster is pitted and cracking and not nearly as durable as the original surface. I would not recommend them. read more

Impressed with Chris when we were going through the process of getting quotes for plastering our pool. It was not the cheapest quote we got but we really felt they were good people! We called them once the pool was filled as there was a lot of cloudy debris in the water. Chris did come out and told us to brush down the pool every day and poured in muratic acid. That cleared up but we then noticed bumps underneath the plaster and 1 area in the pool that seems to be flaking. Chris never returned our calls. Would never recommend this company. We had our pool completely redone- chip out, new pebblescape plaster and tile. Stewart's did a great job, they were great to work with, did a very good job, cleaned up after they were finished, and have checked in with us to make sure that everything is good and we are completely satisfied with the work. They gave us an very affordable estimate, speeding time explaining the various ways we could redo the pool, patient with us while we picked out tile . We had a full chip out, new plaster, and tile in April 2018. Pros: It was done when they said it would be done (2 months), they worked with us on getting a specific tile. Their pool water technician Troy is first rate. Cons: Our new plaster is extremely uneven, to the point where dirt collects in the creases, and it looks terrible at night with the pool light on. They said this was normal, and I should have been told it would be this way in the beginning, which I was not. They agreed to come back in the winter and do another plaster coat, but never called back. They don't take the time to check the quality of their work. You have to call them multiple times with issues, and it's 50/50 if they call you back. We bid two companies and they were the lower bid. In hindsight, the money saved was not worth it. I would rather pay more and have the job done properly. read more

Tried for several days to reach this company, no email address listed on their website, only phone & address. No ones answers the phone, and voicemail is full so I couldn't even leave a message. Since they had good reviews I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and I drove out to the address listed, thinking it was a showroom/store. It's a house, so didn't bother knocking. Unfortunately, I won't be getting a quote from them on my project, which I expect to be in the neighborhood of $20k. All indicators point to them not being in business anymore. Too bad, sounds like they do good work; however, I don't like dealing with companies that I cannot reach anyway, in the event something goes wrong. Probably for the best. read more

Jimmy and his pool plaster company has gone above and beyond my expectations! It all started when I was doing bids on my pool and entire back yard renovation. I interviewed more than 10 pool plaster company's. Mind you I'm in my early 20s and bought a house in Tucson that is a big fixer upper. The pool was so far gone! It's probably 25-30 years old. When I was doing bids I had a lot of older gentlemen who treated me like a stupid teenager thinking I didn't have enough money to do the renovation. Some acted like I wasn't good enough for their services. When they realized what I do for a living and what my budget was they instantly changed their attitudes and tried to milk me for everything they could. Jimmy was different. He is a hard working family man and came by on short notice to check out my pool between parent teacher conferences. He jumped into the empty pool, inspected a few things and the first thing he said to me was you don't want to blow all your money on this pool, and use all your renovation money completely starting over. He said it has a decent foundation and gave me many options. He wrote out his quote then and there. And he stuck to it! No added fees during or after the job! He also gave me many good recommendations for other individuals to do some of my other renovations. He said I could go through them directly and he wouldn't take a cut from their work outside the pool. They were all hard working gentlemen who didn't take advantage of me and gave me fair bids on my renovation projects. I was in and out of town for about 2 months after the bid. When I knew I would be in town for 10 days or more I called jimmy on the 6th to see if we could do the pool before the 18th when my husband came to visit. He was leaving for a vacation in the next week and got back to me and said he could have it started tomorrow, Monday the 7th! The pool was done and filled by Saturday the 12th! He even had someone come to babysit the pool everyday, brushing, vacuuming, chemicals, and starting up my pump, timer, and barracuda. The pool looks amazing! I will update my review in about a month and include pics of the entire renovation. Jimmy not only gave me the best bid but also customized the experience to what expressed and unexpressed wishes and needs were. (including my unexpected time limit). I even chose my tile the day before renovation and he had it ordered, delivered, and installed in one day!!! He jumped through a lot of hoops to ensure I was happy with the outcome and I can only hope to do the same for him. This was by far the best experience I've had in Tucson to date! read more

I just finished having my pool re-plastered. We did a full chip out with a light blue plaster, all new tile, and ladder steps. we also added a dedicated suction line and repaired and repainted our cool deck. From the beginning to the end Jimmy was amazing to work with. I had three bids from various companies, and Stewart Pool Plastering was more affordable, with more included for the price. The process is a long one, and there were days I wondered if we would ever finish. Jimmy was always available to answer my questions and explain why we were delayed. There are two things that happened that really made me want to write this review for Stewart Pool Plastering. The first was that at the beginning I was contracting with another man to have a dedicated suction line put in, as well as repair the cool deck. That guy bailed, but Jimmy stepped in, and had the work done for me by other companies FOR LESS MONEY. Total life saver. The second thing that just blew my mind was mid-plaster spray, I saw the tiles they were going to use for the steps. I was not wild about them because they did not match the rest of the tile. I knew it was very late to have a mind change, literally they were almost done plastering my pool, so I went back inside figuring I was just going to be stuck with that tile. Jimmy made a call and about 30 minutes later there was a man in my backyard with tile I liked much better. I did not expect them to fix this problem, but they did, and they did not charge me any more for it. I have to say it looks so much better with that tile too. I am very grateful for all Jimmy did during this pool re-plaster. I really think he is a quality guy who does great work (my pool looks soooooooooo good) I would recommend him to anyone. Overall I feel like I got an exceptional product at a good price. What else can I ask for? read more
