What are the odds this cell went from one landscape and concrete company to another. I'm not sure one way or another if this is a shady deal or not. Learning as I go there is a difference between trimming and skimming your palms! New news to me and an extra charge apparently. BUT with Perez Tree Service the price was far more economical than others. They arrived on time for their estimate appointment, was able to book an appointment quickly for the work and the job done was great! They left the yard very clean and no debris in my pool. On the plus side, my neighbor was left stranded from another tree company on the same day that Perez Tree Service was at my property and they were kind of enough to go over and do the work for my neighbor. That speaks volumes to me. I will definitely use them in the future !

He was called to my home by a contractor who uses him for concrete pumping. This is what takes the concrete from the mixing trunk and pumps it via a flexible tube onto the concrete pour site. The problem began when Sanchez first arrived on scene. He began a fight with my contractor because the concrete truck wasn't of the company he specified. Then after arguing with my contractor for a good ten minutes, he bullies the concrete truck driver to move his truck to another location, when it was already parked directly in front of the concrete pad that was supposed to be poured into. After doing that, he decides to park his truck in front of my neighbor's driveway, thereby blocking it. Later on during the pour, which cannot be stopped mid-stream, my neighbor complained that he and his wife needed to go to the store, and Sanchez R's truck was blocking him. I had to apologize and lend my neighbor my car. Sanchez not only blocked their driveway, but he decides unilaterally that he's going to route the concrete flexible hose through the neighbors lawn and over his wall. He parks his pumping trailer on the street, and lays his metal pipe onto the newly done paving stone project that the neighbors paid to have done. The hard metal pipe chips the new paving stone in several places, and now my neighbor is more mad. Sanchez is yelling at both my contractor as well as the concrete 'finisher' guy (the one who takes the finalized pour of concrete and smooths it out to make a final finished product). The finisher guy is a 60 year old quiet Mexican man who my contractor has worked with for 20 years. As Sanchez finishes the pour, he drags the concrete flexible hose over the neighbors yard and lets the remaining concrete flow onto the yard. I had to spend about two hours cleaning this up. The concrete gets into the planters, onto the sidewalk, and onto the neighbor's expensive paving stone slab. I had to take my pressure washer and spend an hour removing all that. To add insult to injury, Sanchez R decides he's going to use my neighbor's water hose to 'flush out' the flexible concrete hose that he used to pump the concrete. He uses it for a solid five minutes as though it belongs to him. When I finally confronted Sanchez R about these issues, he told me that he does three or four of these pumping jobs every day, and that this particular job is 'nothing to me'. In other words, the money amount is so meager it's not even worth his time to argue about it. I felt thoroughly disrespected by this guy, and I also felt bad for my contractor and the older gentleman who was the finisher guy. I want to let everyone know how much of a d-bag this guy is so that if he shows up on your site, you can be warned.

They employ really lazy guys who will cut corners in their work. They start off good the first few weeks. But then the work quality turns south immediately. Garbage left here and there, leaves blown towards corners and under planters, tools left on job site etc etc. We've constantly asked them to take control of the weeds on hardscapes and nothing was really ever done. We also contracted these guys for almost $10k to fix our sprinkler systems. First they tried to bill us even when the work was not completed. Abel gives a bunch of excuses but he is really relying on 1 technician to do it all for him. Also it seems like when we gave them their 30 days notice, everything started failing. Now we are again stuck with broken sprinklers and valves. Abel would brag that they way they do repairs is to take documented before and after photos. The reality is the technician will text you a bunch of pictures without any detailed description. And there are no after repair pics. Granted our HOA was in pretty bad shape under Stacker Landscape (another company to stay away from), I feel like IE Landscape just sat on this account to try and make money. Guys will all of a sudden not show up due to some weird "holiday". Then one time Abel had the guys not show up because of "non-payment" when in fact the fault was on their accounting side (they didn't cash the check!). Companies like this don't deserve any business. They'll pull off some bullshit stuff and expect to get away with it. Well thanks to the internet, actual clients can now leave REAL feedbacks. Also when we gave them their 30 days notice, the work was so shitty that all our residents took notice and started complaining to the management and board. Unreliable and Overpriced - Avoid Mariano's Landscape…read more I hired Mariano's Landscape (based in Moreno Valley) in December 2024 to landscape my backyard. From the start, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Their services are expensive, and I expected quality work. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. The owner, Gabriel Mariano, planted diseased trees and assured me they would recover in warmer weather or be replaced. Months later--after numerous phone calls and site visits--nothing has been done. Communication has been all talk, with no follow-through. The concrete patio was another major issue. It was poured with a weak sand-and-cement mix that lacked any gravel or aggregate. I raised concerns, and they promised a quality control inspection would visit the job-site. No one ever came and Gabriel could not provide the name or license number of the concrete subcontractor they used. Bottom line: once they're paid, they disappear. They don't stand behind their work or resolve problems. I do not recommend Mariano's Landscape. The pictures speak for themselves.
