For an "Exercise-Hater" like myself, finding this group has been a life changer. I knew I had to move my body to be healthy and achieve my goals. I have zero rhythm, no dance experience and every part of me continues to move after my feet stop. It doesn't matter. Everything is so easy to catch on to. Every few weeks there are new songs so we are ALL continually learning. Nothing like doing a "spontaneous solo" (going the wrong way!) to feel like part of the group! I started my journey with Jazzercise Dubuque 3 years ago. I am thankful that Michael Switzer suggested it to me. I am 7 pounds away from my goal weight. I haven't been this size since high school. I can't tell you how great it has made me feel. It's not just a physical but emotional to. I don't ever leave without smiling. They have such a positive attitude that they pass along. Not only do I get a great workout but I get to meet some incredible people. It is completely non judgmental. I'm not sure where else you can go and laugh for an hour and a great workout. If you are looking for the perfect workout GO TO JAZZERCISE! It is an all over body workout. A wonderful instructor will be on stage telling you exactly what the moves are. You can control your pace and intensity. If you are feeling energetic and bubbly then kick it up a notch. Feeling a little off or tired then slow it down. I joined Jazzercise several year ago. It was one of the best decisions I have made for working on my physical fitness. The staff and fellow Jazzers make you feel very welcome. Whether you are looking to lose weight, build muscle tone, increase your endurance or maintain your level of fitness, the workouts are designed to target all these areas. Jazzercise DBQ is an awesome time! Or at least as much fun as you can have exercising :0 . I'm not agile at all but I like going a lot...they combine dance moves with actual exercises to fun current and classic songs. It's easy to pick up after only a few visits. My sister-in-law goes too she has two little ones she takes with her that they supply childcare for during the morning sessions. read more

I absolutely love Jazzercise. I enjoy going to the classes because it doesn't feel like exercise and the time you're there just seems to slip away. The instructors are all outgoing and friendly and willing to help out in any way they can. Jazzercise Dubuque is a great place to go to work out. Every instructor is well trained and informed on technique. I have lots of classes to choose from. I also use their satellite location once a week. Everyone is very friendly, which I really appreciate as I have not found that in other facilities in town. This is an exercise program you can stick with whether you want to lose some serious weight or tone up for summer. Music is current and the hour goes quickly. Excellent facility, bright and cheerful. Instructors fun and competent. Low monthly rates . Many sessions to choose from. Results are good in that the aerobic, weight lifting, purpose.and strength classes are designed to meet the recommendations on exercise from physicians..
