Lot of items to browse thru again. Parking lot is large and easy to get around on. Carts are in the front so you can pick them up before you go inside. Furniture is ok. Sometimes you find good usable ones. Not that the furniture there is not usable. Just needs a little cleaning I think. read more

I've been to Northern Thrift a few times and each time I leave saying the same thing. Why do I go back? Everytime I go, it just feels "yucky." It feels dirty and the prices were even high today. I'm a regular thrifter so I expect some snarky responses, and that's ok because I just think this place isn't for me. If I'm going to a thrift store, (not antiquing), and I'm looking for home goods, I want to go and look for that. Not have to walk down a long aisle of clothes to look on the shelf above the clothing for glassware. If you're a shopper who likes semi organized merchandising, you may feel the same, but if not, don't let my review stop you. The shoes were all in disarray, toys strewn across the aisle. Maybe we just missed a super busy burst, who knows. Just not for me. read more

Another place I made my first visit too. Definitely nicer than savers, had some nice decor pieces I'd have gotten if I had the room. A better energy here too. I don't know if I'd ever be back, nonetheless it was a decent experience. read more

This location was brought to me as a recommendation as a colleague and I am glad he did. It has so many great finds! Furniture, clothing, instruments, accessories, bags... you name it. If the grand clock I saw for $56 bucks fit in my carryon, you better believe it would have been taken lol. Definitely check them out! Service was cool - people were nice. Nothing crazy. Wow!! The best thrift shop I've ever been too I could have spent hours in here!! Love that they have the discount colored tags sign so you know what is discounted for that day. I love that they have dressing rooms too. The designer section is a sweet treat as well. Got a great pair of blingy sandals and some holiday decorations. Fabulous finds here! read more

I was shopping near the shoes and I left my wallet down for one second, and this worker lady grabbed my wallet and took it to another worker. They were digging through my wallet, mind you my ID was right in the front and there was no need to be going through it and I have a separate change pocket and it was to the point my change was falling out!! read more

One of the better thrift stores I've been to. It's hugeeee! Has a huge parking lot as well, and located right on the water! They have multiple tags on sale per day, I got two Nike hoodies for $5 a piece! . And fitting rooms. Which you got get at savers anymore. Good variety of clothes as well. I love thrifting. And I love this store!! During the pandemic, many thrift stores closed or completely removed their dressing rooms (*coughSaverscough*). This made clothing purchases a bit of a gamble. I was really pleased on my first visit to this location to find a place to try things on! If you take your time you can really find some great pieces and prices here. What seems like several days of the week there are opportunities for 50% off various color tags. They also have senior and military discounts. I have left here with some really nice brand name winter coats, hiking gear, formalwear, picture frames and so much more. The staff have always been pleasant when I needed assistance getting an item out of reach. Always a good time poking around this place - check it out! read more

When I first went to this thrift about a year ago, I found it absolutely amazing! So many hidden treasures and prices were decent even on the colors that weren't on sale. Fast forward about 10 months and I loathe this thrift store. Prices are ridiculous. I saw a long sleeve free people top (preowned) for like $38! It used to be a great place to make the trip too, but now the prices aren't worth the trip. It's about 35 minutes away for me. Just stick to Savers or Salvation Army. read more

We were driving through this town and decided to make a stop. This place has a huge parking lot. The store was pretty big. I noticed they didn't have a lot of high end brands. I did not find anything I liked. My husband found a shirt. Overall okay but it's a hit or miss with thrift stores. read more

They made several announcements that the jewelry showcase would close at 7:45pm and I picked out everything I wanted by 7:40pm and they refused to let me purchase the items and said the case was closed early. Was also denied when I asked to talk to the manager who made the announcement because the employee didn't know where they were. read more

The manger that was on Sat was rude To to me made me feel sick . My item did not have a tag . I said to him I understand but all the other staff just price it . I said to him that's ok I just go to someone else and he ripped it out of my hand and hurt my Wrist and shoulder I have rheumatoid arthritis so I'm easy to hurt . After I walked away I was hurting and I said to him . I want you to know something . He looked at me and started talking . I tried to tell him as a manger he just talked over me and asked me to leave . I am in your store every week purchasing items. I spend about $500 a month. I am a very good customer and when I first started coming there, I would bring the front desk all the items that I found that didn't have a price on them so they could be repriced. I didn't have a problem with it.. It was his attitude, not the message and the ripping it out of my hand.. Haven't been to this store in over a year. OMG...a year ago this store was a fun place to shop. It was full of bargains and interesting pieces. Now it's so overpriced it's criminal. Today they were selling 2 coasters for $3.98. I bought a set of 4 of the exact same coasters at a full priced retail store for $3.98 last year. In the drapery section I saw attractive drapes. They were $11.99. I assumed they were a set of two. Nope...just one drape. What use is that? I ended purchasing a children's book. Won't be back any time soon. read more

I drove by this place and had never seen it before so I decided to stop in and check it out. I will say it's a huge store and seems to be pretty well organized and there is a lot to look at. They have clothes, shoes, jewelry, toys, collectibles, furniture, shampoo.... wait... did I say shampoo? At a thrift store? Yes I did. Ok.... so this store confuses the hell out of me. I know it's in Coventry which is a high income area, but used sneakers for $30?? Who thinks that's a fair price? A bottle of shampoo that most likely came from dollar tree was price at $3! Was it open? I'm not sure, I mean it is a thrift store so it could be used. Other negatives about this store were mentioned in a previous review by someone else. They are very in your face about "all sales are final.... no returns.... choose your purchases wisely.... we won't take anything back no matter what" which seems a little excessive. If that's your policy put it on your receipt and let they be the end of it. Another review also mentioned that the person felt they were being profiled as a shop lifter. Well.... same here. I was with my friend who has Down syndrome and once we were in the back of the store we heard an announcement over the pa about security going to a certain area. Less than a minute later there was a large gentleman next to us pretending to look at CDs. Yeah.... so if you're looking for used $4 shampoo, $3 gross flip flops, $21 used slippers or any other oddities maybe check them out, but otherwise, I'd avoid this place. Hands down the worst thrift store I've ever been to, and that's stunning considering this place has only been open a week. Everything is ridiculously overpriced for a thrift shop. The clothes were ratty, worn out and ugly. The selection of items was a joke--they were selling *used* lightbulbs for $2 and up. I could get a new one for the same price. Considering this place has not even been open for a month, the floors are filthy, the bathroom is gross, and the displays are a complete mess, shit is literally just strewn about shelves in an extremely disorganized way. The quality of items is extremely poor, most of it is stuff you'd pass up at a yard sale if it was being sold for 25 cents, and many things were just flat-out broken, including glass frames. If you do buy something, they make it VERY clear that you're not getting a refund for it. The only "decoration" this store has is several signs telling you that everything is sold as is, and there won't be any exchanges. I even saw a sign advising you to check consumer safety reports to see if the product you want to buy has been recalled, because they're not gonna give you your money back. I doubt that's even legal. The aisles are narrow and the place is completely inaccessible to people in wheelchairs or with accessibility needs. The employees are extremely rude and seem very suspicious of any customers that don't match their idea of normal. I personally was followed around the store for having green hair. Worst of all, this place is run like a prison--management is clearly paranoid about people stealing things, but the lengths they go to avoid shoplifting are laughable at best, disturbing at worst. They have several locked cabinets with junk in them, including open boxes of dishwasher detergent (???) and costume jewelry. They have employees repeatedly make longwinded, minutes-long announcements in Spanish and English about how you're not allowed to carry shopping bags into the store or take jewelry you're interested in purchasing with you as you shop. They clearly are more interested in treating customers as potential threats than as regular people who want a nice shopping experience. Overall, this store is miserable and I highly recommend you stick to Savers instead. read more

Went on a day where there were 9 color tags at half price! I found a variety of treasures. Including a brand new Lego set for 3 bucks!

It's nice thrift store, some items are a bit over priced but there's some deals to be found. I found a practically new pair of shoes here for 7 dollars. It's a huge store so it's very hard not to find something you like. I wouldn't say that it's any less organized than other thrift stores I've been to. Huge selection, very clean, friendly staff. Colored sticker & senior discounts meant some really good deals!! Most prices were reasonable except the NWT clothes rack. They were way too high! Most were priced well over sale prices in retail stores. read more
