And contractor now claims he's not responsible bc he claims I hired him on my own when reality is he hired them. He went over engineering plans and got city permit. From the start, with the initial phone call, Mike was very accommodating. Even though the project was easy, he asked me the nature of what I was doing so that he could wrap his head around the context of the part he was working on. Cool, he was nicely engaged. His shop is clean and it's one of those places where everything seems to have their own place. Like any place of this type, there were pieces of work in progress.
