Yet, it does not happen very often. My wife and I just booked a House in Destin for mid-October. I wanted a golf cart. By the way, I used to live in Destin so I knew, the Golf Cart was very important. I called two places. The second was Beach Better Golf Cart Rentals. I got a message however it said I could text them on that number. I did and got a reply back in less then two minutes. The prices were more then reasonable and I could take care of the entire transaction online. Now for the rest of the story!!!! The home we rented is one of my personal friends. I asked him which Golf Cart rental place he uses. He said, "None". The home comes with a six passenger golf cart. So I did not have to rent a golf cart after all. BUT, when I do and that will happen, this is the ONLY place I will consider. The world needs to remember that we clients just want professionalism and prompt communication. We will pay more to get it. Customer service is the key.

While I…read moredon't recommend trying to rent one without doing it ahead of time in the summer (everywhere sells out) we were very lucky/blessed that this location still had a cart that could seat 6! The pricing was comparable to the going rate for peak season. They give you all the info you'd need for the cart and are very friendly. Our cart was brand new and ran great. It's an easier way to get around a busy little area and especially a good way to get to and from the beach with all your families gear.

Beware On our trip…read moreto Destin, we stepped off of the airplane and met a couple of friends and decided we needed a larger golf cart than the one that came with our condo. In our haste, I went to this company's website filled out all of the information and paid over $1000 to rent a golf cart for a week. They immediately called me collected the address and told me that they would deliver the golf cart that night. A couple hours later they called back realizing that I was staying in Resort called sandestin that they could not deliver the golf cart because Sandestin is a closed resort that does not allow deliveries. It does say "no sandestin" on their website. This was an oversight on my part and I admit it 100%. They then told me that they do not do refunds. The owner reached out through email and told me that people book months in advance and hurt their business because they want a refund once they arrive and realize that the cart cannot be delivered to sandestin. This is understandable and I do not blame them. However, my rental was denied the same day and I did not hold up their cart for a week. The owner simply told me that they're going to keep my $1000 and that's the end of it because the website says "no sandestin". I even offered to pay for the cart for a full day because of the confusion and they refused me because they just want the $1000 for no services rendered. Minor mistake and oversight on my part, absolutely! Ethical of this business owner to take advantage of people from out of town and keep all of the money from a same-day rental when a cart was never issued? You decide. I have copies of the emails. I'm happy to post them, but this company will do whatever they can to keep your money I would not trust them. This was a very simple decision to make for this business owner but that chose to keep money for nothing rendered on a same day mistake. Good luck , there's a lot other rental spots. Choose wisely.
