Walked-in with my boyfriend yesterday and was greeted by TalkSick (Malik), the shop's piercer at the front desk. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We came in to get my bf tattooed, and I opted for a piercing. Wait time wasn't bad at all for us having just walked in. The shop was clean and well taken care of. My piercing experience was great. I got my conch (inner ear) done. I've been pierced by several different people in the past but TalkSick was the most memorable. I really appreciated how he put so much thought into my piercing placement so it would be as aesthetically pleasing and flattering as possible. He made the process fun and comfortable. He even checked on me later on, while I was watching my bf get tatted. Jess, the tattoo artist, did a GREAT job. She was easygoing, didn't waste any time, and her work is solid. The piece came out very clean (pic doesn't do it justice, trust me) and was exactly what my bf wanted. This was a birthday gift for him and he is very happy with it. JB is a phenomenal artist! I booked him last July and due to the pandemic I had to delay my therapy session until today (1yr later) I traveled almost 60 miles to get there! IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! I Got a navel piercing from JBs ink therapy last minute and ended up rejecting really bad, I was confused because it should have already been healed and I was cleaning it every day ( sometimes multiple times a day ) went to my usual piercer and he said it was pierced way to shallow and not pierced the correct way for my anatomy. HORRIBLE customer service. It's individually like these that make it difficult for black businesses. Communication is poor and little to no professionalism. I reached out to this person requesting service he responded by telling me book an appointment. I book the appointment I patiently wait even use a vacation day to make sure I'm available for the appointment. I reach out 24hrs before just to confirm and get an address to the shop. No response. Why advertise a business if you dont want to work. I wasted time and a vacation day for nothing when I could have found someone else who is actually serious about their business and customers. read more

I've been wanting a tat for years. Turned 50 , celebrated in Vegas and decided to go for it! The problem is that I went to the wrong shop. I didn't leave with that "this is exactly what I wanted" feeling of euphoria. My sister heard about JB's shop and recommended it to me. After viewing their social media sites, I was sold. The shop has an engaging environment and I love all of the life sized Marvel posters on the wall. It's a family business and they remind me of my own. We crack jokes all day too. JB, who did my tat, got me with a couple of jokes. I wasn't ready. When he does my next tat, trust, I'll be prepared. I was impressed with the care and thought that went into my tattoo repair and artwork additions. The shop is clean (even the restroom) and very sanitary. JB constantly cleaned the area he was tattooing. When I viewed the completed project, it hit me, that feeling that I was expecting to feel when I initially got tatted. I was too tired to show how I really felt, after being up since 3am working. So I wanted to make sure that I posted a review.
