This store is very much unprofessional I tried making a complain about an artist and they didn't take it although I did get a tattoo by "Jadance" she never had communication. after my tattoo I was trying to get my touch up since she stated that for the pace she works at which is fast I'd definitely need a touch up now I'm on three month and no text back she makes appointments and cancels last minute apparently she doesn't know her schedule since twice she didn't know she wasn't gonna be in the shop I've had three cancellations on her end and not one accommodation toward my time or money. She constantly ignores my messages and yet makes posts for wal ins or future appointment. I paid $300-$350 for a tattoo that 1.Was not complete 2.Not touched up My boyfriend got a tattoo from the other people there they were great absolutely amazing people but this girl she need to go back to school to be taught communication or someone needs to teach her how to use a phone. read more

I've gotten a half sleeve done here. Almost exclusively by Orlando, the other smaller tattoos I have are from another artist. Orlando is the best, he brought my idea to my arm! I had a bunch of flowers on my upper arm, but wanted a background to go with it. We went through some ideas and we landed on the galaxy. Which is perfect because I love aliens, night time, and Star Wars. Healed beautifully and went back for a touch up, which made it even more amazing. From there I didn't think I would get anymore work from him because I was going to be moving out of state. But before I left California, my sister and I wanted to get matching tattoos. That day I messaged Orlando seeing if he could fit us in, luckily he had nothing that particular day so we were able to go in and get our Lilo and Stitch tattoos. The tattoos ended up looking so good that people thought it was a temporary tattoo. Some people even said it looked like color stamp. No matter what anyone says, I love the work he has done on me. Got my tattoos done awhile ago by Jojo and Chino. I never wrote a review on them because they seemed cool at the time, but my perspective of them changed because of the owner's aggressive responses to my review on Google and I feel that people should be weary of these artists. Jojo worked on my forearm sleeve, I showed him pictures of almost everything, except for the black silhouette of the girl, and asked for black and white realism. Everything seemed fine except for the clouds. They looked like mermaid scales. Bunch of squiggly lines. I was told during my cover up that he was fairly new at that time because he had to get guidance from another artist on how to do the tattoo. His other work looked good, but if he didn't know how to do clouds or cover up my thunderbolt, he should have said so. I had to get a cover up by a tattoo artist Chino (supposedly people say he's the owner) recommended. See the review of Jerome in Luckyyoutattoo lockeford. Chinos work was good, but he does not respond back for days, almost a week. I wouldn't want to spend thousands on someone who is unprofessional even if the price and work is good. If he was the one responding to my review on Google and Yelp, it proves how he cannot take criticism and accountability. If the owner replies to this, I won't be entertaining you! read more

On my trip to California I decided to get a lotus tattoo and did a walk in to this shop. My artist was Pork Chop and he was extremely friendly and detailed. He worked with me to confirm my design and it came out exactly how I wanted. Being a Sikh, I told him I'm not allowed to shave and he was able to accommodate me in that sense as well. The tattoo I got was $100 cash. I highly recommend this shop as Pork Chop is great and I'm sure the other artists are as well. read more

Who would have known that getting a tattoo could be a great experience? I chose Lucky You Tattoo for a very personal and important piece and I am more than pleased with the results. From the initial contact I was very impressed not only with their quick responses but also with the extremely friendly and helpful attitude. I was comfortable with them before I ever met them! I met Ramon on my first day going in and he spent a very long time drawing out what I had imagined, only to find that once it was drawn it was definitely NOT what I wanted! He actually came up with a plan that incorporated everything I wanted and ended up designing the perfect tattoo! I could not be happier. Okay, first impression of this place was, WOW! It's bright, clean and most of all friendly people. I tend to get intimidated by other tattoo places, but this one just made me feel at ease. It's been a few years now since I got my tattoo, but was going through Yelp and remembered I forgot to leave a review. I was overcharged at this location. Carlos and I had agreed upon $300 for a 2 hour session at $150 an hour. The guy who did my tattoo took 3 hours before he even got to doing my tattoo. He had zero sense of urgency and I was very patient, apparently too patient because he clearly took advantage dragging his feet. Even decided to go outside and get high before coming back with any kind of draft for my tattoo. He did two drafts, I should've had him do a third and spaced out the letters more. However, at that point after waiting 3 hours my patience was dwindling. I didn't care the tattoo artist got high before doing the tattoo; could be the way he gets in the zone, but making me wait 3 hours before doing anything was bullsh** and should be considered unacceptable. The tattoo wasn't anything crazy it was Old English lettering across my arm. They also had a bunch of under age kids that kept walking around the shop and awkwardly watching as everyone was getting tattoos. They were nice, but it was still awkward. The tattoo took 2 hours to finish and at the end the guy mentioned it'll be $400 instead of the $300 which was previously established. The quality wasn't bad, but the lettering is a little too close. I ended up paying $420 because I do like to tip after getting tattoos, but I also was upset I was being overcharged. I don't suggest anybody go here due to the unprofessionalism and the lack of sticking to an agreed upon price. read more

I spoke with Jazzy on a Friday about my design ideas and she added her own spin to help my creativity and by Monday morning I was getting my new ink. Was very surprised what I found here.... I lost hope in a good tattoo artist in this area. On a whim I did a search on Yelp and came across a pic of one of chinos tattoos. On an off chance I stopped in to get a quote thinking a good artist like this is months out with appointments which he is... but I was in luck his appointment did not show up and he was about to go home. He hooked me up and drew up what I wanted and got to work. He is great soft hand, no digging in and professional. He now has a customer for life and I no longer have to drive hours away for a tat. I would like to share my first time experience. I was looking and doing my research as to who and where I could have my first tattoo done and I came upon Lucky You Tattoo through a Yelp search. I came by on Monday and asked about their services and got convinced to get my tat right then and there, the same day! Trust me, I am a sucker for pain, I was extremely nervous but Joseph was super nice and gentle and made my experience great! It was so good that I came back two days later, on Wednesday, to get me ANOTHER tattoo by the same artist! If you are looking for a great place with great people, this is the place to go! Tattoo Artist: Luis I don't want to badmouth any business but I am just not happy with my tattoo at all. I went in to get a very small piece on my arm just "stay soft" with a cherry blossom next to it. Seemed simple enough so I wasn't too worried about skill level. I'm used to artists drawing out my idea and checking to see if I like it and we go from there. I sent Luis 3 pictures of exactly what I wanted, he printed them out and slapped them on my arm to begin. I figured "okay he just has to trace this should be easy". He pushed so hard that my arm was hurting so bad..I have my other arm done already and it hurt much worse this time. After he finished he wrapped my arm and we paid. $100 for a tiny tattoo seemed expensive to me but it is what it is. Below are pictures each day my tattoo looked worse. I had a huge bruise around the tattoo because he pushed so deep into my skin it passed the first layer of skin. Not only is the tattoo pretty ugly and scratchy looking, the letters aren't all the same size, it's faded looking already, and the color bled into my skin. I'm very upset and don't like to look at this piece I have stuck on my arm now forever. Be careful with who does your work they may not be experienced or prepared. read more

My apt with jojo. -paid 250 my hand and fingers are scarred with the tattoo skins bumped up. -he tried to free hand the tattoos on my skin he wasn't prepared at all when I sent him photos of what I was looking for I had to find a different random picture on the internet at the apt for him to print out instead of what I originally asked for in advanced to begin with. -my knuckle numbers came out so crooked ( because he just tried to freehand it with marker) - lines faded out shading fell out -took days in-between response from the artist literally had to just finally say I'm going to just show up to get a schedule in.. - no compensation are even a care just a touch up was offered but my hands an fingers are so scarred I'm not sure how well even a touch up will affect it. this was not shop quality literally have had cheaper cleaner tattoos done in my kitchen I regret this tattoo so bad. It was just super unprofessional.. I've heard great things about the other artist from the shop though a lot of my co-workers have gotten work done there. Good luck.. I seen some good reviews on him but my personal experience kind of sucked hope you guys well with yours Btw these are pictures a month after my apt specifically like 3 days short of a month not a week folks just FYI..
