I called Jesse at 8:10am on Monday. Two hours later we discussed removing a dead tree from my backyard. Two hours after that, the crew was removing the tree. They were very careful not to damage our artificial turf, plants, wall & electrical & water lines. What a team of professionals! We recvd several quotes prior to the pandemic outbreak and we were patiently/anxiously looking forward to calling Jesse and his crew for our overdue trimming! They removed a queen palm that stood about 20 ft tall, pruned our citrus trees, removed a pomegranate tree, removed 3 stumps and trimmed back our neighbors tree to the property line. They used coverings for protection of our property and did an amazing clean up job! All this was completed in less than 3 hours... money well spent . We will have them back in a few weeks to trim our hedges but this will require cooperation from our neighbors so we look forward to scheduling with our neighbors and Jesse soon! We are also keeping them for our annual pruning and trimming of our trees! Jessie was very responsive and kept us informed step by step! I was referred to JBS by my contractor. Glad I chose this tree company. All the guys were top notch professionals. I had a 60 foot Pine tree that was tall and wide and had to come down. Pablo came in with his crew and took out three sections of fence to access the tree. They then took out all the plants in the immediate area and put them to the side to later replant them. They then pieced this huge tree down with all the right equipment which only took about five hours then came back the next morning to grind the stump. Amazing Work! This started a few weeks back when we had all the high winds. My wife sees a limb from our tree on the power lines and not Edison's portion of the line. So I look tree services on yelp and they number one rated so I called them. The man on the line was the owner the father asked if I wait a few minutes with a call back I said yes. I think wast even 5 minutes had a call back from his son Pablo and he said we are booked do the wind but asked where I live told him. He says you around the corner be their I 10 minutes ok. He got their and let me know my try was over grown ,that it needed to be trimmed. I said I know but today emergency service he said $225 for a few branches and said it would not be till after5pm. He asked if they trimmed the branch today and trim the tree at a later date he would be able to do the whole tree for $625 .we agreed and I told him leave what you trim off today because of the wind and we can set a date when not so busy. We did careful research and talked to five companies. Two did not have the proper contractor's license for the work: D49. Some had no workers' compensation insurance either, but JBS emailed us proof of insurance (including $2 million liability) immediately upon request. i did NOT want to self insure a project where a large tree was being removed and chain saws were being used! Jesse, the owner, came over for an estimate, and it was not only very competitive, but detailed and accurate. There was no pressure to agree. After reviewing other bids we selected JBS, and as luck would have it they were finishing a project just down the street. They brought an 8-man army of workers, all employees and not day laborers, to the job. Jesse was hands-on, walking the job with my wife and me first, and remaining throughout to supervise. Their crew are long-time employees and mostly family. They went at it with energy and skill, and in less than 3 hours had a large tree down and several smaller trees and plants removed as requested. A large truck and chipper disposed of the debris, and the property was left clean and neat. Based on the Yelp reviews I contacted Jesse at JBS tree service regarding the trimming and removal of several large trees in my backyard. Jesse was very accommodating and offered to come to my home to provide a written estimate for the work. The bid was very competitive and Jesse was able to schedule the work within a few days.The team from JBS arrived on schedule and quickly and professionally trimmed back two large trees and was successful in removing a huge tree that was fairly close to to my home. The huge tree was completely removed including the stump and it is hard to see any evidence that a tree was ever there! Amazing! The best part of the experience was the friendly and professional work and attitude of Jesse and his crew. They were mindful of my property and that of my neighbors.
