There was confusion about where the line began, and I was unaware that people were expected to stand in a different spot although i was already there first. I wanted to be able to look down the isle towards my elderly neighbor as she is prone to falling over, so i stood in front of the counter where other people were standing as well. This individual became aggressive and confrontational saying "can you read" and also charging towards me, getting into my face while yelling. The "can you read" comment came from a sign saying where the line starts. This sign was positions to where i could not read it as it was facing the other way, an honest mistake. He then repeatedly raised his voice, got in my face, and made threatening statements, including telling me to meet him in the parking lot and saying he would be waiting outside for me to "deal with me" or something along those lines. A blatant threat. He also stated that he and i quote "i bury kids like you" which was rather disturbing. During the encounter, he grabbed my arm and squeezed it calling me "a skinny tranny." He also made insulting comments about my appearance and repeatedly mocked me by calling me transgender and making other derogatory remarks saying i "need tampons." This all occurred in front of other customers, including 2 elderly women who were visibly uncomfortable with his behavior and comments about me "needing tampons." I understand that people can have disagreements, but there is no excuse for threats, unwanted physical contact, or personal harassment. Because he was wearing company-branded clothing and presenting himself as a representative of Brightwater Electric, I believe the company should be aware of this conduct for his future interactions with clients or everyday people. I don't believe you want your company represented this way. This review reflects my personal experience and is being shared so that others can make their own decisions about the type of people you will interact with when hiring Brightwater Electric company. This also says a lot the people who work there as he was being transphobic and physically assaulted me by grabbing my arm. I am unsure if this was a hate crime or not as he did mention transgender people quite a bit and also wanting to hurt me in the parking lot. I hope this employee can reflect on this interaction and see how immature and hot headed he was. Disciplinary action should definitely be taken to prevent this from happening to a customer. If he was the owner, i will be posting this review if it is deleted or reported as i do have witnesses. I am also considering filing a police report regarding the threats and unwanted physical contact that occurred during this incident. I also made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will attach a photo of the person in question so people can be aware.
