The boba is mushy, the sweetness level is too much for me (so I usually get less sugar, which can still be too much at times). We frequented this booth at our local mall. There was always a pretty hefty line and it's because it was definitely the best boba spot in the entire area (as far as I know). The people working were always quick and easy to deal with. And the bubble tea itself was always pretty good. My two favorite things about this place based on our first visit were that they had a decent tea and that this was a family business. The lady who helped us appeared to be the owner and she was accommodating and friendly as she sweetened our teas using sugar instead of honey. The ultimate downfall was the Boba as I presumei it may have been cooked for a tad too long, although I'll usually prefer too chewy to too firm. This shop was immediately to the left as we entered the food court from the main entrance, so finding somewhere to sit wasn't an issue. I wish I could give these people 0 stars because that's what they deserve! me and my kids ordered a honeydew and watermelon slush boba. We did order from them before and it was good, sweetness was just right now too overpowering but just right!! But this batch was super sweet and our drinks tasted like syrup & sugar! One sip and me and my kids couldn't stand the taste, syrup was too overpowering I kindly went up to them with my 2 girls and asked them if they could do anything about it, at least make another drink since we barely drank it, or a refund. Her and the guy making it, was very defensive and started mouthing off to me how they taste everything, and giving a stink look at me. I was shocked since I wasn't even mad when I was talking to her. As someone who moved here from Seattle and lived in Chinatown, downtown Seattle where there were more than 5 places to get milk tea all within a five minute walking distance, I am quite judgmental when it comes to milk tea. Jc bubble tea deserves a five star being the best MilkTea spot in the whole area. (If you can prove me wrong, message me a place and I'll review it!) The service is always as quick as possible & they are knowledgeable and kind. It's kind of a drag that it's in the mall as it can be too noisy with the mall at times, but that's out of their control. Their boba is always cooked well & I love the various milk teas ranging from the house , the taro , the matcha with red bean, etc. i definitely recommend getting the smoothies for the more fruity options as they tend to taste way better. I also love that I don't have to ask for light ice at this spot, they just always have less ice as a standard so I always feel like I can get my moneys worth! I've been going to this place for years, in fact since they first opened in Santa Rosa Mall in Fort Walton Beach! They have now moved their location to Cordova Mall in Pensacola. I love their bubble teas! My favorites are the lychee tea with extra tapioca or the coffee! Now I've been to many places where their tapioca sucks, but this place makes their tapioca chewy, bouncy, and just right. I do have to say that sometimes, the tea can vary, from being mild to pretty strong. That's why I'm taking one star away. Otherwise, about 90% of the time, they make my order just right. Cruising around the mall you either get hungry or thirsty. We were on our way out when I noticed the Boba tea stand. I grew excited because the last time I got really good boba tea was in Denver. The woman was very nice, I think she was the owner. I ordered the papaya milk tea with peach boba balls. It took some time (maybe 5-7 min) but wow was the tea good!! I especially loved the flavored boba balls! I can't remember exactly what I paid but the price was very reasonable. JC Bubble tea is the one near the outdoor exit to the food court. It's not one of the regular businesses but rather a little stand with a few bar stools where you can sit while waiting for your tea to be made. The people behind the counter are really nice and actually started remembering my order after my first visit. I've found that I either or love or hate the boba from places and JC does it right! They have a nice selection of milk tea, iced tea, smoothies, and slushes. I'm all about the milk tea and I had theirs several time during my visit. This place is in the food court of the Cordova mall. It's a stand so be careful not to miss it. I ordered a matcha latte, and it was DELICIOUS! Definitely really enjoyed the matcha. I asked if I could try the tapioca bubbles and I thought that the person working there wasn't very pleasant about it. The service wasn't as welcoming as other people have described. It was perfect for what I was craving not too sweet (like most boba places make it) just nice and light. But the area is in a little corner, so there's not too many people in front. Drinks: I may be biased, since I'm used to the bubble tea from the Chinatown in Houston. Everything is made with syrups, so I'm not impressed. The drinks themselves aren't too sweet. I got the House milk tea without tapioca because they were completely out of rose milk tea. My sister got the lavender milk tea, and I ordered a mocha smoothie for my uncle. It surprisingly wasn't too sweet, since I forgot to ask to alter the sweetness. But honestly, that wouldn't have mattered anyway because the service sucked. Service: I understand being the only worker there can be stressful and hard. It can be difficult, but legitimately, there were two people ahead of me and one girl behind me. The woman took a bit of time to fix the two customers' drinks ahead of me, but neither me nor my sister minded. We just waited patiently for our turn. But when she got to us, she left halfway while I was giving her our order. And when she came back, she looked at me like I was an idiot. It was so off-putting that I completely forgot to ask to reduce sugar and ice, if possible at all. You know, I get we all have bad days, but I was just so put-off by her attitude. Price: I swear, I think it's the only bubble tea place around Pensacola, since the Asian population isn't big. But it was still pretty dang expensive in my experience. Finally some real boba! I tried their honeydew milk tea at first, but didnt like it. It was too watery and some of the powder hadn't dissolved so I could taste the granulated powder all bunched up. This place used to be great however it now lacks the customer service required to be in the food business. As a loyal customer I have been to this establishment many times. Today I was treated very rudely. I order the same thing every time I come there but today I was given the wrong order. When I tried to tell the worker that this was not my order I was very rudely told that if I wanted the drink I ordered I would have to pay again. Needless to say I will not be coming back. read more
