The effort to install one of the latter two put dents in our new sink. Our contractor tried to get their rep to come out to see this shoddy work. He first had something set up for Friday 10 August. Their rep delayed until Tuesday 14 August, again delayed until Wednesday 15 August, and yet again until Thursday 16 August. And yes, their rep again ducked the meeting. They failed to show up. Why they not own up to their mistakes? We will not go away. Do they really want us to have to resort to further action to resolve this?

The quality of materials and workmanship is outstanding. What really excels is Allen's communication. After dealing with 2 other builders first, the communication with Westbrooke was the defining measure. Another defining measure was the contract. I didn't want to sign until I had a contract attorney familiar with home building take a look after a bad experience with a different builder. The attorney told me that the Westbrooke Contract was a good contract to sign and looked after the interests of both the builder and the homeowner if things were to ever have to go to court.  We had the very best experience building with Westbrooke. Every idea we had Allen gave thoughtful consideration, and even when he knew it wasn't a good idea, he held our hand to show us how it could work or explained why it's not going to work. We trusted them to be the experts and their trust was well earned. Building a house is hard. We went through many ups and downs over a 3 year period. When we finally found Westbrooke, the process went smoother than we could have imagined. They were even able to get us into our home a month earlier than expected when we had lease issues where we were living.
