I just came in to get three nails painted all black and came straight home to remove this 10$ polish job. Made me pay before and rushed the whole thing didn't use polish remover to clean up just used her nail to scrape it . It's really bumpy and not a smooth polish , it was rushed and only two other people were there nobody was waiting after me or anything . Wish I would've read the reviews before but I figured it's simple so I came here. Never again

French line not even straight.

Horrible nail salon will NEVER GO again. I went in asking if they were able to do a nail set (picture provided) I got a hard no and decided to get a pedicure instead. The pedicure I received was $90.00. When Mary started working on my toes Jenny came and ask if I wanted nails too I politely declined since I had already shown Mary the style I wanted and they said no they didn't do that. Well Jenny ended up convincing me to get them done. I should have stoped her the moment she started it hasn't even been 24 hours since I got them done my nails are deformed some are thick some are thin and to top it off I already have a broken nail. Some spots have bubbles of the gel slowly rising up. They cut my cuticles from all the filing they did. They ended up charging me a total of $180 I will never recommend this place. Save your time and energy go somewhere else.

Dip manicure after 4 days.

I went to JC Nails for the first time and got a dip manicure. In the past- when I get dip my manicure lasts for at least 3 weeks. However, 4 days after going to JC Nails 3 of the nails had fallen off. Im extremely disappointed since I paid $75 (with tip) for a manicure that didn't even last a week.

I'm visiting from out of town and I decided to get me & my daughter a mani & pedi. Central Park is a nice area but needless to say "Mary" attempted to over charge me for the services rendered. I had done the math in my head and the total came to $147 before the tip. Mary came over with the calculator with a total of $167. So I explained how I came up with a different total. Mary proceeded to go through the services rendered and the total was indeed $147. No apology no accountability etc. Not sure if this would qualify as racial discrimination( I'm of African American decent) but I was most definitely targeted to be over charged.

Bloody, inflamed cuticles from their mistakes. Didn't even apologize or try to make it right. My nails aren't even cut evenly!! Horrible!

Horrible service. They made me feel more like a burden for coming in. They rushed, made mistakes & my results are nothing like I requested. They look terrible & hurt me. My cuticles are bloody, red and inflamed. They didn't do anything the way I'm used to having them done at home (visiting from out of town) STAY AWAY!

Gel Nail Tips $80 . Rebase is $60 . Total Joke !

So I walked in for a pedicure and asked about an acrylic full set . They said they don't do acrylic full sets only gel nail tips. So I decided to think about it and decided to get the pedicure first . Let's start off with the pedicure..... literally the fastest pedicure I have ever had in my life a total of 20 minutes and ran me 45$ including gel polish. I felt robbed of a spa like experience . Usually most places take at least 45 minutes for a gel pedicure .If this is a spa then why does it feel rushed ? Now I ended up getting the gel nail tips which is literally the plastic tips attached and dipped in the powder. Guess how much that was ?! $80 and when I agreed to do them I had told them I would only get them if they were thin enough to look natural and would last as I currently work on a computer all day. I was assured they would. Fine . Well towards the end they were bulky and when I brought it up the woman said she couldn't guarantee they wouldn't break if she did them thinner . By this time I'm over it I told her to thin them out and I would just remove them once they broke . Needless to say they were NOT worth $80 . The woman seemed annoyed an irritated jerking my hand around and rushed this Service too. My first and my last time I go here . The end result was still bulky . Uneven. Sloppy and seemed more like a 45 dollar nail job than $80 . If you're going to charge THAT much at least make them even and look decent . Please don't waste you're money here

I'm not one for pampering myself but I figured I'd give it a try. $75 later I think it was an ok experience. The staff were very friendly but I didn't not like the chairs. I'm use to sitting at a desk to get my nails done but they I will say that my nails look great and my toes are sparkling.

I never write reviews but felt like it was necessary for this. I went in to get a dip manicure. I'm brand new to the area (just moved here less than two weeks ago) so I just chose a random place when I was out running errands. First off, my bill was $100!! All I got was basic dip. Like I said I'm new to the area so I thought maybe it was more expensive here but that's definitely not the case. Totally ripped me off. Second off, I got my nails done a week ago and three of my dip nails popped off. I've been getting my nails done for years and that has never happened to me. Dip shouldn't just pop off like that. I would certainly not recommend this place.

Unshaped nails/ dry skin

Today I got my nails done here. I paid $250 at the end of my visits for two mani pedis and this is the quality of work I received. A $60 pedicure where my toes came out as shown in the photos below. Throughout my visits I asked for her to clean up the sides and under my toes, I asked for a harder massage, I asked for the dead skin around my nails to be taken care or and for her to scrub my heels which she completely ignored. For $60 this is the service you will receive. And that is completely unacceptable. My nails were soak for over an hour to the point that they are now brittle. They bend easily now which they never did before. The shape of the nail is uneven as well. When I asked her to shorten them I was ignored and they were left at that length. I will never go to this salon again. Over priced and terrible outcome. Do not trust them to compete the service you are paying for to the best of their ability.

I have been here a few times now and had 2 great gel manicures and a gel pedicure that lasted for a long time. The chairs for manicures are super comfy, and the hot stone hand massage (included) is so relaxing. The key is requesting the older lady (not sure if she is the owner/manager) or the man who works there. They are the best by far.

I love the big comfy recliners they do manicures in; no rolling office chairs at a sterile table.

She took great care to remove the old polish and clean up my nails. I've never had my nails shaped as perfectly as Kristin did today. And she painted the polish perfectly as well! It is, by far, the best manicure I've had. Kristen is so pleasant to chat with and the quietness of her individual nail spa was calming. She also uses Venmo, which was so easy and convenient! I can't wait to go back for a pedicure!

She even asks that you sanitize when you walk in the door which I can appreciate. I also love that she truly is about the health of your nails. She isn't into all the acrylic and tips as it damages your nails. Her skills are unmatched and she doesn't use all of those insane gadgets to damage your nails even further. She is hands down the best and am so grateful I was able to stumble upon her. So shoutout to all of the great reviews here on yelp as they did not disappoint. Kristen will be my go to from here on out. Please note that she is by appointment only which I can appreciate. And when you make an appointment, just know she will be there before you and not at the time you set or after. Thank goodness she is on time and punctual.

I really wanted this place to be good. A month ago, my daughter and I came in for pedicures. Mine was below average, while hers turned out okay, so I thought maybe I'd just had bad luck. We went back today, and unfortunately, that was my last visit. The technician was using nail polish that had clearly dried out. Instead of opening a fresh bottle, she repeatedly tried thinning it with acetone while applying it to my nails. The polish went on streaky and uneven, and it was obvious it wasn't working. When I pointed it out, she became irritated and insisted a clear top coat would fix it. It didn't. What bothered me most wasn't that this an honest mistake. It was that they knew the polish was bad. They kept discussing it and continued trying to make an unusable bottle work rather than simply replacing it. That felt like cutting corners at the customer's expense. I gave this salon a second chance because I wanted it to succeed, but after two disappointing visits, I won't be back.
