One star for this company is one too many. Pat Dominguez was recommended to me by a very reliable source. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. The workers came out as scheduled to check my septic tank. They snaked it and my kitchen and laundry room sink were still backed up. They offered to work on the problem.told me they had the right snake on the truck. Removed the pipe on LR sink and drained the water. At 11:30 they told my husband they had to go get a snake. They left without capping the pipe. When not back at 1:30 I texted the # I had received a rey from Pat telling me they were heading to shop to pick up snake would be there within the hour. At 3:00 Pat calls to say they had a job to do then would head over. At 3:30 I had soaked towels all over my laundry room floor.Pat again said they were fini ing another job etc etc! At 4:00 Pat told me the truck was giving them problems...he just found out.BS! I told him I was calling a plumber (couldn,t do laundry or dishes) it was a Sat and I was left hanging all day. I told him all I got all day were excuses. Guess he didn,t like being called out. He said Listen! They have better things to go all day than deal with you! I let Mr Professional know that I put the plumber I had lined up off because Pay,steam had offered to try and fix the problem. I didn,t ask! I was now left with a job UNDONe. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! They ripped me off almost $300 and refused to rectify the problem. They did not pump my tank and then when I asked for someone to come out they said they would do it but I would have to pay again. Don't trust this company. Please do your research, call the Environmental Department, check on line with NM Courts and see the cases filed against Pat Dominquez and various companies they have been associated with. Please do not go near this company or any of it's other company's sharing the same address or family name Van Damme. They will take your money and don't be surprised if they do not complete the job as agreed. They are not to be trusted in any way shape or form. They are criminals. The will take your money up front and not complete your septic system, sometimes withholding thousands of dollars worth of parts and labor. They play childish and exhausting games with you when you try to get your septic system completed. They have many complaints against them at the CID and Environment Department and an investigation into their fraudulent activities by the Attorney General's office. Horrible customer service. Will report to better business bureau. Twice Pat made appointments to service septic and never showed up and never cancelled or called. Ignores messages. After finally did come by to "fix", I paid them $250 to fix septic problem which still has problem and he never came by to attend to problem. Do Not Hire These People!!! I hired this company. We agreed on what work would be performed. The work they did was satisfactory only they never would finish all of the work they promised. I would call them and I would get more promises over and over again. They never did anything after the initial work and left much of the work undone. They will not answer their phone or call me back. Worst contractor I have ever hired. Seemed like a nice guy and I paid most of the money before the work was complete. JC Septic are run by very nice people, and I liked them personally very much. However, they really screwed up a leach field job that they did for me on my property in Madrid. When my old leach field become over-saturated, they proposed moving the field down a fairly steep slope into the lower part of my yard. After doing this and "completing the job," my tenants began to notice that the lower part of the yard was always wet and that seepage was coming through my adobe wall and running down my dirt road toward the neighbor's property line. After several calls to get them to fix the problem, they proposed charging me $500 to dump extra dirt around the wall to collect the seepage and when told that they clearly mis-engineered the depth to which they should have dug the field, they said that they didn't realize that the adobe wall had a concrete footing with space between concrete bricks; in their estimation, if the footing had been solid, nothing would be leaking out of the wall. This of course, doesn't take into consideration that even more of the seepage would be held inside my yard, which was already saturated. I argued that I should have to pay money to fix their problem, and they agreed to dump $500 worth of dirt at no charge to me around my wall. They did dump dirt around the wall, although the water continued to collect in a pool of seepage between the little dirt berm and the wall. I called again about this on a few occasions, but they never returned my calls. Since then, I have brought in 13 tons of dirt from Montano's Gravel and Sand, which in total cost me about $300 (not $500) and which provided significantly more dirt than they dumped after my initial complaint. About 8 tons of that dirt was put in my yard and around the wall. Still, the seepage continued and the ground continued to be wet. Now, I have brought in 31 tons of 3/4" rock gravel and crusher fines, and have put about 15 tons of that in my yard and more dirt/mulch around the wall. The rock now covers most of the yard so I can't see any wetness, but I am not yet convinced that the seepage around the wall will stop during the cold winter months. We shall see. Also, I just noticed that if you search JC's reviews on this site, there are 5 others ones that are not "recommended reviews" and so they don't show up unless you look for them. 4 of those 5 reviews give the exact same story that I'm giving: seemingly nice people who make promises and don't deliver; I also paid upfront like these other poor folks did. read more
