I purchased a 4th of July slip and slip rental on 6/5/2021. Just a little under a month in advanced. Received confirmation of payment and everything. On June 30th I reached out to JCA to confirm I would have the rental for the 4th. Later that day I received a text message response from JCA stating that they will be closed for the 4th of July and they will issue a refund. I then checked their website to confirm JCA was indeed closed for the 4th. JCA is not closed on the 4th at all. In fact, the rate for my rental went up $50 for the 4th of July. JCA is not only cancelling our agreement because they were not quick enough to include the 4th of July option on their website but they are bold face lying to me about being closed. They also gave me ZERO time to rebook with another company. Thanks to JCA I will have 15 very disappointed kids at my house, since I promised a water slide. I will not be using this business and encourage everyone to steer clear of this unprofessional company. Update: 7/1/2021. JCA has been completely non responsive I. BEWARE! Sad to say this company is SUPER unreliable & unprofessional. I booked a water slide/canopy/tables/chairs package with them several weeks in advance & spoke with them multiple times, just days before my son's birthday party. They were supposed to arrive at 8am, and I sent my first text of that day at 6:30am. No response, but that's understandable. By 9am, I had called & texted several times until eventually it seemed they turned off their phone or blocked me. By 10am, I am panicking & frantically calling every party rental company in our area, getting quotes for 3x the price I was supposed to pay with JCA, since everyone is understandably mostly booked. As if throwing a party isn't stressful enough. They show up at 1pm (the party was supposed to start at 2pm), and I showed so much gratitude because I thought they were one of the other companies we booked at the last minute. They showed up with no apology or explanation, and just started setting up like nothing happened. When I realized it was JCA, I had my husband talk to them & their explanation was that they overbooked themselves or something. They could have saved us so much stress by just sending a simple text saying, "Sorry, we are overbooked, we probably won't be there until closer to Noon." Of course we wouldn't have been happy, but we would have had a MUCH different experience... Considering we still tipped them at the end of the day because we understand they are human, that they are a hardworking family-owned small business, and at the end of the day, the kids had a blast; I think I can say I am a very understanding & easy-going person. After this experience, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt & booked them for 2 other occasions that went without a hitch. I even paid for their membership. Now I am trying to book them for another event, and they have blocked or turned off their phone once again. I reached out on Sunday, Monday, and now Tuesday. I understand being busy Sunday & even being tired or busy doing pickups on Monday, but Tuesday? I could care less about the discount or even the money I paid for the membership, but the sad lack of professionalism, the lack of priciple in not caring enough to reply to loyal customers, and the clear lack of integrity in just turning off your phone or blocking customers when you don't feel like replying, is just a completely pathetic way for a business to act. I thought the first encounter was a one-off, but obviously it's seems they think it's an acceptable way to do business. So I strongly warn anyone to think twice before working with them. Their prices are admittedly low, and when they decide to deliver on their services, sure it's great. But in my opinion, it is NOT worth risking & entrusting your entire event in such unreliable hands. I'll gladly pay $50-$100 more to never ever have to deal with this kind of stress & disrespect again. read more

Called Thursday to get the Special #3 for Saturday and they had it available! I was able to get the 10'x20' canopy, 4 tables and 30 chairs and the Spiderman jumper for $165! We added 2 extra tables and 20 chairs for $20. The delivered the canopy, tables and chairs the night before so we could setup and delivered the jumper in the morning, they would've left the jumper the night before but we were setting up in the front yard and they were afraid of theft, understandable. They even had a light for the canopy which was great! Some chairs were brand new some were pretty dirty but for the price I didn't mind wiping down. Thank you JCA Jumpers! read more

This service was from August of 2019 Friendly, professional, quick, and smooth service. The owner was able to meet my request in a short amount of time. I had been indecisive about where to rent what I needed for my sons party. I got a few quotes from many different local companies. I decided to go with JCA Jumpers because the price for what I needed was lower then the others. I contacted the company through yelp on Thursday when the party was that Saturday. The company responded quickly and made it really easy to book what I needed with them. They showed up promptly on Saturday morning. They set up equipment and disinfected it quickly. Had a house warming party this past Saturday. I had called the Wednesday before hand asking about if they would service my event with me needing only 4 tables and 20 chairs and delivery fee. The gentleman that answered was cordial and I was delighted to hear that they could service my low quantity of items needed and that I was close enough to not charge me a delivery fee. Since I was still waiting on RSVP's to come in, I wasn't going to have a final head count until Thursday night and wasn't going to know until then how many chairs/tables we were going to need. Friday morning, about 8:30a.m. I placed my first call; no answer at JCA. I then called again at 10:46a.m. and left a message in English and Spanish asking for a call back; I left my # in English and Spanish and noted that they could deliver Friday or Saturday. By the time Friday 6p.m. rolled around and no call back, it was time to make an executive decision; so with hamburger meat, buns, cheese, salad mix, and a total of $200 in food for the party, me and my fiancé took both our cars to Lowes to purchase 10 plastic extruded chairs. but didn't like the folding tables they had. We paid about $100 for the chairs. In the parking lot we moved all the food from my fiancé's car over to my smaller car there in the parking lot of Lowe's. We then put the 10 chairs on her car's backseat. We then drove to Home Depot and purchased two folding 6-foot folding tables for another $100. We put these tables in the trunk of her car. Since we already had 10 extruded chairs & 2 folding table at home, we now had our party rental chair/table needs met. We live in Buena Park and like to support the community's businesses. Unfortunately the deed was not reciprocated. 2 trips to home improvement stores and $200 extra we hand to spend that Friday night made for a long day but the party was still a success and our guests were comfortable. read more
