(The store's published closing time is 5:30 PM, not 5:20 PM.) I went to look at the whisks. Another staffer literally ran over to me and, from about three feet away, stared at me for a while, with a pained, impatient expression. After a while he said "What you want! We close in ten minutes." At this point I asked whether they really close at 5:21 PM. He said yes. I said the published closing time says 5:30 PM. He said "That's when we lock the store. Customers get out 15 minutes before then." I asked for a manager, but none was present. I asked the employee for his name: Benjamin. Apart from the hostile service, the inventory I saw was pretty terrible. The whisks looked more like dollar-store items than serious commercial utensils. Perhaps the rest of the store is better, but I'll never find out.

Theres actually a bunch of kitchenware stores nearby but few are open and this one is the cleanest we went to. They have some safe guards for covid like a plastic curtain to separate the staff from us, but otherwise precautions seem un existent. Things are very organized and the variety of utensils vary greatly, but the variety of each utensil is mediocre. Meaning you can find mostly anything you want but not in every size and color. We found a nice teapot, julienne peeler, cooling rack, and some ladles. Everything was fairly priced but they only had one peeler and it was on the pricier end when we compared to nearby stores. Overall im thankful for them serving kitchenware in the holiday season while we have extravagant food plans

Win tells you what you need most of the time if you're not coming in without a particular reason--it's like Target--I find myself coming in for one thing and walking out with a bunch of other gadgets and gizmos. Most if not all wares here are reasonably and affordably priced. It's great that they don't limit their customers to wholesales or restaurant supply, because a cooking novice like me can buy specialized kitchen tools at a fraction of the cost the same day I need it. I've gotten a myriad of things here from tempura spoons, wine glasses, frying splatter screens, all all the random stuff you can think of. I would say that this supply store has increased my quality of life in the most subtle ways! I will continue to find excuses to come visit to see if anything is new. The staff here are helpful. Most of them don't have the most outwardly friendly vibe but they will help you (kind of like when you ask your sibling to do something for you and while they'll give you some resistance, they'll still do it out of care). Although there are stores that may have a wider selection, including in the general neighborhood, it's worth checking New Fu out if you're in the market for such items. Of course, if you don't see something, certainly ask about it. Note - The entrance is presently hidden by scaffolding.
