Theres actually a bunch of kitchenware stores nearby but few are open and this one is the cleanest we went to. They have some safe guards for covid like a plastic curtain to separate the staff from us, but otherwise precautions seem un existent. Things are very organized and the variety of utensils vary greatly, but the variety of each utensil is mediocre. Meaning you can find mostly anything you want but not in every size and color. We found a nice teapot, julienne peeler, cooling rack, and some ladles. Everything was fairly priced but they only had one peeler and it was on the pricier end when we compared to nearby stores. Overall im thankful for them serving kitchenware in the holiday season while we have extravagant food plans

It is more geared towards commercial establishments and not the pseudo-kitchens in most New York apartments. It is also a rather inexpensive store where items are available to buy in bulk or by piece. I was quite tempted to buy a cash register and a deli meat slicer... Cash registers seem so much fun to play with (I've obviously never used one or worked in retail, I'd probably kill myself or someone else if I had) and the deli meat slicer just seemed like a good defensive weapon to have in my house in case someone broke in. However, personally not the biggest fan of the finish - the insides are glazed and beautifully crafted while the outside/exterior of the items are purposely left rough and unfinished (more rough texture than just matte). I would imagine the exterior would be easy to stain and hard to clean. While I definitely enjoy the immersive store experience and admire the items. Probably won't purchase the items due to practicality reason.
