0/10 recommend. They hairstylist Maya was kind and took her time with me and she is not at fault here. However, the communication of the salon is so poor. I was told one price several times, and show up to be told its actually 40-50 dollars more. I chopped it up to one bad error, but decided to give them another chance. The next time I went in, they did it AGAIN. They bait and switched me completely blindsiding me while trying to trap me into paying an additional $50-60 dollars (on top of the original $40-50 dollar increase). The manager Katrice is a horrible manager for these crazy upcharges IN THE MOMENT without ANY warning and she has zero compassion. During this appointment, she was gaslighting saying the confusion is MY fault when SHE was the one that booked it for me and did not say anything that I couldn't actually do the services the way that SHE booked them (which mind you, I had her book it the way they had told me to do the PREVIOUS time I was there to avoid any confusion). Then she said if she were to do it that I would be putting her job at risk, even though SHE put herself in that situation. She even said that she cannot make and exception because "she already did last time" which is a huge joke because no exception was made and I DID pay for the services provided. If they had made an exception, then they wouldve comped something to match was i was initally anticipating! BUT NO!!! I sucked it up and paid it because I needed that service and I was trying to assume positive intent that it was truly a mistake. But this time, there was ZERO positive intent, no communication, and once again no "exceptions." All I did was show up to the appointment that I booked through THE MANAGER, and then she tried to con me into paying $50-60 more and made it out to be my fault when she is at fault for not communicating for a SECOND time in back to back appointments with me. How does something like this happen twice??! keep in mind she did not tell me of the "miscommunication" until 35 minutes AFTER my appointment was supposed to have started. I was already in the chair with the gown on, and my hair clipped up. Maya was about to start mixing the color when Katrice came over with her cruel surpises. She then was telling me that this is what corporate has told her to do. So i asked her when she found out of the mistake and she told me 48 hours PRIOR to my appointment! When I asked her why she didn't call me to let me know before so I could prepare, she told me it was her day off. If you are a manager, and you KNOW this is going to be a problem, how DARE you put your customer in a situation as outrageous as this. I am an understanding person, but for this to happen twice and go up exponentially each time is just ridiculous, then to be blindsided in the moment was completely ill-intentioned. All I asked for was appropriate communication. I even booked the appointment WITH her and she still was saying I'm the one at fault. If this happened to me several times, I 'm sure she is bait and switching other clients (which is ILLEGAL by the way). I have never felt so disrespected back to back by a business. It was so cruel that Maya tried to stand up for me and pleaded with her manager to let her color my hair and that this wasn't fair. Maya gave me a brief hug goodbye and I stormed out. If this was at all something that was fair, or that I was in the wrong for, then I think the way my hairstylist stood up for me shows it was in fact Katrice who was the real piece of work here. This is no way to run a business, and I will sway anybody who tries to go here because of her. I am appalled. Please have anyone higher than her reach out to me if you would like to know how all of this went down in detail. I'm happy to speak to you about this disgusting business practice. read more

BEWARE of "Custom Window Treatments from JCPenney"! I ordered 19 custom plantation shutters for my home. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks for them to be built. It took 4 months for the shutters to arrive. All 19 shutters were delivered to my garage on 2 palettes. I was asked to help the delivery driver get the 2 palettes in to my garage. After about 1/2 of the shutters were installed, I realized that they were not what I had ordered. I ordered shutters that opened from the center, and they sent shutters that opened from the side in an accordion style. I tried to contact the lady who I worked with to order the shutters, and I have not received a return call. At this point I assume that I am stuck with 19 shutters that are not what I ordered, or a style that I wanted. read more

Went into JcP's last minute to get a suit which my son picked for Dads and groomsmen for the wedding. Yes, I procrastinated and wouldn't you know it, they didn't have pants or jackets for anyone over a 32 w and 42R jackets. Kyle in the men's department not only searched all local stores but assisted us in finding it online but it would take 7 days to ship. My wife checked to see if she ordered online if we could expedite shipping which we could. Even though Kyle was going to lose his commission for not selling it to us in store, he continued to help us through it and getting it ordered online. One of the better JCPenny stores. Large parking lot. During the holidays they had a lot of staff. The store was clean and well merchandised. The lines were short on Black Friday. read more

I don't recommend working at this store. Shopping there is fine but the general manager is really bad at managing people. Ignores blatant sexual harassment reports and they always ignore your scheduling requests. read more

They have some good sales and cute clothes. Some items are more expensive than you would expect. Sephora is ridiculous though. I would never get any makeup from them. read more

This review is for their eye center only. The service at the here is horrible. The employees would rather take personal phone calls and be on facebook than help you. My mom had to have her glasses redone 5 different times because they kept print the wrong script in. The 4th time they broke the lenses on her, then handed them to her to see if she could fix them. I would not recommend going here. It's not worth your time or trouble. I hardly ever write reviews of places, but I was so bothered with this that I don't want anyone else to have to go through it. read more

Has lots of cool pots and pans, but the cashier boy in the checkered shirt was incredibly rude. Will shop here again but only to buy the $380.00 set of pots and pans that comes with a steamer. It's a must have. Our cashier, Vanessa, was wonderful! read more

I really don't like the grocery store style checkouts. It's always messy too. I miss the store being at Metro North. I loved it then. I only go when they give me a free $10 coupon to blow. Sigh read more

Wife and I had a Jcpenny gift card so we shopped for 45 minutes in store Saturday night 1/21/17. Found a tea light display on clearance for only $4.97, so we went to check out with this item and a dress. In the checkout first clerk said she couldn't sell us the tea light set, but the manager Tenisha offered to check us out, upon waiting she also informed us she could not check us out with this item? I asked why and she said it wasn't allowing her? I was not satisfied with this response so I offered a solution for her just to ring up another item that cost $4.97 (they have a $4.97 clearance rack). Tenisha became defensive and said she couldn't ring it up? $4.97 really we couldn't figure out something poor training and poor customer service in my opinion. When asked for customer service phone number she said she would have to get from the back? Upon speaking with her further she told us to try with another manager and they would be able to see it to us? Really $4.97?? I am still awaiting a resolve on this situation, I hear the news about JcPenny's struggling which is truly a shame as it used to be a very good store and shopping experience, unfortunately I foresee this slide to continue to happen with inadequate proper customer service training and poor leadership. When carrying around this $4.97 piece around the store we were even approached by an associate who said she had her eye on this piece and was waiting for it to be even clearance down further? Really I believe she had a put a hold on it after seeing us ready to purchase and her poor leader Tenisha refused to sell to us. read more

We went to this JCP store last Saturday. The dressing rooms were disgusting. There were clothes in every dressing room to the point that they were on the floor in most rooms from the overflow. In the room I chose, it had tags pulled off of swimsuits so I am guessing your store had some swimsuits stolen on June 10th. I mentioned it to the cashier and she seemed indifferent. If my daughter hadn't already selected several items to try on, we would have left due to the mess and uncleanliness. read more

I had a great experience at the salon. I am so indecisive when it comes to my hair and Christin made it so easy! I wanted to step out of my "comfort" hair color and she did such a great job. I love it! I would definitely recommend this salon and will be going back. read more
