Um--what??!! How did we end up having one of the best tasting breakfasts I've had in a LONG time, inside what is basically a church on Interstate 20? So be prepared to read Bible verses on the walls and sit in what feels like a mega church cafeteria. Your food will arrive in styrofoam and foil with plastic utensils (and these things cost it the final star). But the breakfast was under $4.00 and it was GOOD. In Texas speak, REAL good! The food is consistently amazing. One of my favorite places to eat in Cisco. The quality is always top notch, and the value for the price is excellent. I never finish a meal, they are so big! I also feel like their customer service always exceeds my expectations, especially considering that it's a deli and not a large restaurant. They go above and beyond every visit. It's always very clean and comfortable inside, they take pride in their environment. I wish it was open for dinner, but I do still enjoy ordering breakfast and lunch from them at least once a week. Whether you eat onsite or take it to go, they prep perfectly and make sure you have everything you need. It's consistent and reliable, and I appreciate that I can count on that as a customer. They truly care about making your entire experience pleasurable- the taste, presentation, and service. I have no suggestions for improvement. Well, except to say I wish we could experience it MORE! . Don't come here expecting to have lunch. I finally tracked down the female waitress who was with the male cook off somewhere doing who knows what. I asked about lunch a she told me they don't serve lunch on the weekend. Both were out of breath and disheveled looking. read more

In town to see my stepdaughter & wanted something new. I was a little worried when she told me it was in the community center. Well I was plenty surprised. Amazing, bread & biscuits, followed by a real salad, not like many places that give you white crappy lettuce. We all ordered something different & it was all good. Wait staff was super friendly. Located inside a church/community center is an upscale steak house. I can't recall seeing a sign on the road for the steakhouse, so I drove around until I saw a deli. Walked into the deli and asked for a menu. They directed me to a restaurant tucked neatly behind the deli, just out of sight. Modern and small, this jewel deserves your business. I have to say I'm fascinated with the surface on the tables. Metallic copper sheen fits nicely into a pleasant steakhouse vibe. See the photo I attached The service was relaxed and efficient. Prices are on par with a nicer steakhouse. Menu options are fairly typical of steak, fish, and chicken options with a subtle twist or two. I ordered the grilled plank salmon with a side of squash and grits. May sound odd having the grits, but they were untraditional and good. The salmon was cooked to perfection. I hope this steakhouse can be sustainable given it is located in the middle of nowhere. Recommended. read more

First visit here for a casual date night. Prices are date night prices. Food was amazing though! And all proceeds benefit St. Jude so that's amazing. We had onion rings, tumbleweeds, steak, lobster mac n cheese and the whitney salad. We loved every bit of it! No need to drive to Dallas for a great dining experience! We will be back. read more

Salmon was very tasty, with no fishy taste. NY strip was moist, but was a little too salty. The brussel sprouts were done well. Unique squash casserole that I would have again. Broccoli was perfect. Location can fool you - being inside the community center. read more

Nice place, and decent food. Jalapeño lobster Mac and cheese was delicious with plenty of lobster. Pork chop was a bit overdone and dry. Chicken sandwich was also a bit over and dry. Cool tables and friendly wait staff. Reasonable prices. read more

Not at all what it used to be, very disappointed. All 5 meals were unacceptable, 2 of them were comped. The 2 chicken fried steaks had to be cut with a steak knife and so tough you couldn't really chew them. The steaks were so tiny and were also very tough. Nothing was seasoned, and the meat tasted like it had been previously frozen. We took my parents on a special occasion, so it was very embarrassing to have brought them to a place with such poor quality and service. read more
