Horrible ! Their "installer" came out to give me an estimate for a whole house generator. It took 2 weeks for me to get the estimate, whereas 2 other contractors gave me the price same day ! JCT also told me I would need to remove a shrub & also replace a window for over $400 to a non-functioning window. All of this info was incorrect as I had my town building inspector come to my house to review this info. I called JCT out of courtesy to let them know how disatisfied I was with their estimate - which was $1500 more than 2 other contractors - the lady who answered was rude, ignorant, and miserable. I told her I thought she should know my concerns and why I chose another contractor - she said she didn't care. Oh well, that's no way to run a business - and thank God their information was incorrect and their price was way overpriced ! Everything happens for a reason. After doing months of research and having several estimates we decided to hire Jct Electric for our generator installation. They actually came recommended from a family friend. There price was not the cheapest but very reasonable and they explained everything in detail of the whole process. The office handled all paper work and permits with town which many company's would not do. They showed up to do the job and all the guys were great. They were very clean, knowledgable and did a great job. Made me feel good when electrical inspector commented that he wishes all generator jobs were done like this one. After everything was done they explained the generator and how to care for it in detail. I would highly recommend them and have done so already. They went above and beyond my expectations. I have to be honest, after reading some reviews, I was a little hesitant to hire this company....BUT after calling Generac to have my unit serviced, (which was not installed by them) , and having a very high recommendation come from them, I AM SOO GLAD I hired JCT electric. They were professional, courteous, quick to answer my call and came out here quickly. I was so happy with them that I had them out again to do other work for me and once again, it went smoothly. Dan JCT Electric installed our 13kw Generac generator on 12/26/2013. They did a fantastic job and kept us informed throughout the installation process, which took less time than they had planned. Their follow-up and response to questions has been exceptional. the permit process was simple and their installation passed immediately. After the plumbing inspection, they returned right away to hook up the gas connections. During their final followup I decided to sign a maintenance agreement with them, as well. read more

Great Company.. I had an emergency situation, Icalled Jct Electric and a very nice woman picked up the phone and assured me one of her techs would be at my doorstep to fix my circuit box within an hour.. I hired JCT to replace an attic ventilator fan that I knew wasn't working. They were the only company that would give me an estimate without charging me to come out. I knew all the answers to all the relevant questions, ie. size of attic, etc. No one else would even give me a $$ estimate. They arrived on time and were courteous! They found they couldn't remove my old fan without damaging my new roof, so they installed in a new hole and didn't charge me a penny extra!! Very Happy Customer! read more
