My Hydrangeas were just starting to flower and they trimmed them cutting off all the flowering buds!! My tickseed was stepped on and some of the stems are broken. They did a horrible job on trimming the rest of the bushes and did not clean up all of their mess. I spoke with Justin and I wanted him to come out to look at the damage his crew has done. He was supposed to get back to me and I have not heard a word from him. Tried calling this morning on his cell. Left a message. I am livid over the way my bushes were trimmed. That landscaping was put in 3 years and cost a pretty penny. And now it looks horrible

Our backyard started as a rough, outdated space with an old shed that had become a major eyesore, a lawn overrun with weeds, and a large amount of old concrete that needed to be removed. One of the biggest challenges was that all of the demolition debris had to be taken out through a very tight access point, but the crew handled it efficiently without any issues. From start to finish, Daniel and his team were organized, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They removed the shed, demolished and hauled away all of the old concrete, cleared the overgrown lawn, and completely transformed the space. The quality of the materials they used was excellent. They built a beautiful stone patio exactly the way we envisioned it, installed an elegant pathway accented with Mexican river rock, and created two separate areas--one for our pool and another with fresh sod for a small lawn. The finished project turned what was once an unusable backyard into a peaceful retreat where our family loves spending time. What impressed me most was the pride they took in their work. My driveway was in bad shape, the sealcoating done by another company had lasted only 3 years, my…read more'dips' were starting to erode thru the asphalt forcing me to add 2 layers of crack fill to stop the erosion. Shawn came to give me an estimate and recommended a double coating of sealant. The first coat he brushed on using a heavy mixture, later in the day when it was dry he sprayed a second layer on. The driveway is now heavily sealed and should be good for many years. The price was reasonable and he was prompt and courteous. I would recommend Sunny for sealcoating and/or repairing your driveway.

The following week they canceled saying we were out of area. Their web site clearly says south suburbs and we live 10 to 15 minutes away. It is very strange out of area you came to my house saw the address agreed to do the work then back out for being out of area. Also my wife knows for fact that this week they were doing work in Orland Park which is the town I live in. Because of this we had to start looking for another company all over again. Would not recommend them since they do not honor their bids.

JGS came out to redo the full landscaping in at our house in the city of Chicago. It's one of the…read morelong "Chicago" lots so he came to a blank canvas of just some grass in the front and back yard. John initially consulted with my wife and I to understand our requirements and vision and then came up with his plans for how to realize that vision. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first as some of the things he was proposing took awhile to sink in and for me to understand how it all fit together. Ultimately it would be a fence around part of our lot with a big gateway opening and then landscaping to fit the area, give some additional privacy, add lots of color, be low maintenance, and remove the "concrete" city feel. Once our fence was installed John and his team came out a few days later to get going on the project started. They moved sod, installed new trees and bushes (lots of flowering bushes), added mulch and rocks, moved some of our current shrubs, and ultimately it was better than I had even imagined. The project took two days and we're very happy with it and he continually checks back in to ensure things are still looking good and we're still happy. I'm going to have him come out again this fall to plant some additional items that didn't make sense to plant in the summer so I'm excited to see even more of his work and vision executed. I'll definitely be calling him again after that too.
