Freedom Forever put the panels on and let the finance company know to start charging me interest back around 2/2/26 but the project is nowhere near being ready to have the system turned on. They have blamed SCE and the city for the delays only to find out that it really has been them dragging their feet and not following up on paying the city for the permits and reaching out to SCE timely to get things done. I am being charged for something that I am not receiving any benefit for. If you have a choice, do no choose them. If there was a way to get out of my contract and choose someone else, I definitely would.

Review Update: After…read moremy initial review, Eric (the sales rep) and Matt (the owner) of Sunline personally reached out to me and was apologetic about the situation. They sent Travis out promptly, who is their electrician where he found that the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty 40-amp breaker that was intermittently providing the necessary voltage, even though measurements initially appear correct. While the breaker issue caused real inconvenience and unexpected costs on my end, the owner was responsive and showed willingness to smooth things over to work toward a resolution. I also want to highlight that the panel upgrade and solar/battery installation itself was clean and well done. The workmanship that Eddie, Manny, Christian and Jamie performed had overall met my expectations, and once the issue was identified, Sunline did step in to correct it. No project is perfect, but how a company responds when problems arise matters a lot. In this case, Sunline's owner and Eric was engaged, responsive, and made a sincere effort to make things right. As an engineer, and after witnessing the symptoms and corrective actions firsthand, I believe the breaker issue was likely a manufacturing defect, and it was unfortunate that it occurred during the holidays. I called So Cal Edison and the lady was not helpful at all, basically said not our problem call an electrician. I called the number and about 5 minutes after leaving a voicemail, Jeremy, the owner, calls me back and says he can be there within the hour. Allen came out to my home after a couple of email exchanges with pics and to clarify the issues I had. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable, exceeding my expectations as a service provider. Allen listened to my concerns, albeit solar is not in my wheelhouse as far of skill set; so thankful Allen was the expert. He assessed the inverter, my app and number of solar panels. He also reviewed if any panels were emitting solar. Once he identified the problem, he contacted Enphase and worked directly through them to enable a Wi-Fi connection on the inverter and through my phone. My solar is now up and running, but since they were down for so long, Allen indicated it will take approximately 45 days for data to download.
