Class class class. FancyAF but so worth it. The vibe is really contemporary and makes you feel like you're going out somewhere special. I loved the service and feeling totally taken care of while dining on tastyAF fare. The roasted vegetables were so good. Loved my salmon filet too. Expertly cooked. Then the desserts were the perfect meal ender. Would 100% recommend this anyone coming to London. The best from start to finish.

This place stayed up to the hype. I ordered the grilled octopus for starters and the sea bass for main course and it was amazing! I took a dig at the tuna tartare and monkfish which my colleague ordered as well - absolutely delicious!

    Review Highlights - Jean-Georges

Each time I visit London I try a couple new venues for afternoon tea but I always keep a visit to Jean Georges on the itinerary.

The place was quite busy, and interestingly, the same person taking orders was also cooking. It's a very small setup--definitely not meant for dining in. The vibe is more like "grab your food and head out." We ordered chicken egg fried rice and chicken chow mein. Watching the food being cooked right in front of us was fascinating--quick, high heat, and full of action. Once we got our order, we sat outside to eat. The first thing I noticed was that the food was quite oily. More disappointing, though, was that I couldn't find any chicken in my fried rice--even though I had paid extra for it. I went back, showed them, and asked if chicken had been added. They bluntly said "yes" and didn't bother to check further, which was frustrating That said, the food itself tasted good overall. It's just that the oiliness and the lack of proper service took away from the experience. I wouldn't say I won't visit again--it feels more like an off day--but I was definitely expecting better service.

I ordered the Chicken Katsu over brown rice with Szechuan sauce. It wasn't too spicy and had a good portion of protein. It took about 10 minutes to wait for food. Be cautious if the line gets long- you may be waiting 30 minutes in total, given there aren't many grills and the kitchen can get backed up.

Sure, it might taste like PHO, but it is definitely not authentic as they say it is. The food is lacking in taste and quality. It taste so cheap. It might cost five dollars from a street vendor. Instead of cost over $30. SAKUSAKU duck noodle dish cost it over 21 pounds which is about 25 or $27 USD and I barely had any sauce and it was extremely small portion. I think it's meant for a eight-year-old kid. I think I could eat like three of these even if I wasn't that hungry. Lastly, the service is terrible. We got seated and never got our waters. Refill never got attention, this place sucks do not eat here. I would rather go to the McDonald's across the street.

Got the gravy on the side, didn't think I'd use all of it, before I knew it, it was all gone. And you wouldn't think that the type of mash or type of gravy or type of sausage would matter that much, but they really do all have distinct flavors! I will be mixing mustard into my mashed potatoes from now on. Originally came for the sticky toffee pudding, so of course we ended with that. Marvelous! The toffee sauce is so comforting and rich, the cake was so moist, and it was perfectly balanced with the ice cream. Didn't detect any dates, maybe they were too finely chopped. Also the apple and blackberry crumble just didn't hit the same; it was slightly dry and on the sour side (maybe don't take a bite directly after the pudding!) Service was so helpful and friendly; I'm sure they love watching people fall in love with their food. Quick with refills and offered extra condiments if needed. Great air conditioning as well (always a plus), and I loved the green blacksplash and blackboard caligraphy on the walls as well. Bangin'

The Steak and Blackheart Stout Pie was delicious. The steak was tender and the mash was smooth. Definitely get the Sticky Toffee Pudding. The pudding was sweet, soft, and warm, pairing perfectly with the silky pudding and cold vanilla ice cream.
