Beautiful ambiance, but food is mid and service needs improvement! Ambiance & Service: the garden space is gorgeous! Perfect for lunch on a beautiful day. Service was poor - it took an hour to get our iced coffees. Food: Kale Salad: Simple, but tasty! Nothing out of the ordinary but I liked the addition of the chilis. For $23, it's incredibly overpriced. Fries: Crunchy and salty! No complaints!

Hosted a private dinner in the Barn and everything from service to the food was impeccable. Ambiance was magical with the florals and candlelight. Two dishes I was in love with was the chicken with artichoke fondue and the sushi canapé. Would definitely recommend hosting an event here! Thanks Chris for your partnership on the event!

Food 10/10 - best shrimp scampi I've ever had! Sisters chicken was delicious too. Service 8/10 - all staff were so attentive and friendly. Ambiance 3/10 - maybe because it's off season but there were very few people inside the restaurant and it feels very... bare?

Food and Service is 5 stars: Great service and food is amazing. Value is 4 stars: A little pricey (but again, it's in the Hamptons, so I guess it comes with territory) but the ambiance is 3 stars. Meh. It felt so sterile, the dining area felt like a cafeteria. I was expecting it to have more of a character since it's in this historical site. I would love to give this a 5 star but it needs some improvement.

Loved the place. It was located inside a hotel and the place got pretty packed for lunch. We enjoyed our food. We especially enjoyed the baked brie. Will definitely go back here again with family

The food here was fantastic but dear God, you can get old waiting for it. I came here for brunch with a few girlfriends on a Sunday before hitting the nearby Hampton Flea. The place itself is adorable, we sat outside and had a great view of the grounds. The Topping Rose is tucked away enough that it offers a quiet place to grab a meal, but close enough to the main strip that you can quickly be on your way to anything else that's on your Bridgehampton agenda. That is, if your meal ever comes out. I'm guessing this had to be a kitchen/bar issue because while our server was lovely and attentive, the wait for drinks and especially food was excruciating. I had an Aperol Spritz which was refreshing once it finally arrived. My friend and I opted to split oysters as an appetizer, but they came out with the main course about an hour and 15 minutes after we'd been seated, which was disappointing. My eggs benedict with smoked salmon was perfect though, all things said. The free olive bread they have here was also delicious and luckily came out in a decent amount of time, we asked for seconds to hold us off in between. TL;DR, don't come here if you're looking for a quick meal.

Topping Rose House is an elegant but casual restaurant (I will explain what I mean in the last paragraph). It features a nice entry porch with valet. Located within a small wood-sided boutique hotel, it was not easy to find the main entry at first. We accidentally entered straight to the dining area, so had to walked through patrons to see a reception area. It would have been great for either valet or receptionist outside to guide first-time visitors, or at least provided with a proper signage. I visited two Jean-Georges within a week, so it was a great opportunity to see how the quality was kept throughout restaurants under the chef. Ordered a lobster roll. which I had from the Fish and Co at the Tin House in New York City; surprisingly the same visual and tastes! The roll was perfectly toasted with top-notch lobster meats. Thin-sliced fries were well received by all of us. The tenderloin (cooked in medium) was also great- with smoked peppers on top, well-preserved juicy tenderloin, and well-paired sauce. Fried calamari was also a perfect choice as an appetizer with a glass of Brut champagne. All the staff were very professional and polite. There was something to improve though. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, felt tight spatially, and the circulation was also confusing. There were no dress code, and the coats had to be placed on top of an empty chair. I guess the main reasons are its location and whom it is supposed to serve- hotel guests. For this reason, I don't recommend this place for intimate couples who want a quiet dinning experience, but perfect for a brunch with family including kids.

Still a good spot for dinner. This place has been around for years and there is a reason for that's. They easily adapt to their customer base. Jack was our server tonight and took great care of us. Management and service rating is A+ The food was good quality but not special where I would rave about it B+ The Parmesan encrusted chicken is something I regularly get which is good. I got the pea soup which was very good A+ It can take a long time between the appetizer and main course. If you are in a rush than this place is not for you. The kitchen is a bit slow. B

A very cute place that is perfect for a bachelorette party or just brunch!!!! Upon entering into the parking lot I noticed that there was valet but you can also just park your car into the lot as well. The iced coffee was very good. The omelette was OK - the veggies weren't mixed into the eggs, it felt more like a flap where everything was underneath and was not cooked for long. Overall it was a very cute spot and if I did go back I would order a different kind of dish. Pancakes were also delicious!

Happy hour here is amazing ! Lexi the bartender is awesome - great service and very friendly. The food is delicious our favorite was the salmon crispy rice. The fish tacos, chicken sliders, French fries and burgers were very flavorful! Jean Georges is well known and this did not disappoint. Loved the atmosphere it was a cool lounge vibe. Best margarita!

Topping Rose was... fine. We went for dinner + drinks in the evening and the first round was underwhelming (vodka soda riff with sparkling water / sugar / lemon and a bee-something.) The ambiance is slightly outdated and there's a lot of employees crossing with guests due to the layout but it has a somewhat charming outdated family dining room feel to it. The outside is nicer. Someone's elderly grandparent made a reservation on our behalf and miscounted the party, and one of the hosts (who may have been training? Since there were 2) was extremely rude about it over the course of the hour+ we waited for a table -- the rudest experience from a server I've ever seen -- to the point we left. The other host was much more helpful in helping us set up a new reservation. We went back a couple days later for brunch instead. Drinks were better, but the espresso martini could use a dairy liqueur. The food was good, but not great -- calamari and truffle pizza, lobster roll, and salmon were all fine. The lobster roll being on a potato bun was new and a little odd. Our servers were helpful and staff all around was much more pleasant. Overall everything was fine but nothing special. Would be unlikely to return when you mix the quality with the initial bad taste from the host.

Topping Rose was really good. We ate out in the barn, socially distanced, after Cuomo made restaurants shut down at 10pm. We got there at 7 and just made it out by 9:50, even with coffee and French macarons. I must say the coffee and dessert was the highlight of the meal. Everything else was really good, and we definitely paid for it. We did a table ribeye which was good. I did the seabass which was scaled and nice. Also had a couple pizzas, sides, salmon, and surprisingly the chicken breast was standout. Service was perfect. Bar was meh (sent Aperol instead of Campari but fixed it). The ginger margarita was great. Very good, good experience.

The service was a little slow(compared to New Yorks faster pace) but the ambiance made up for it, there were 2 main dining areas both just as lively, i enjoyed sitting near the bar with the fireplace. We got the oysters, burger, fish, pizza, etc. Everything was so so good, menu changes seasonally. 2nd time going now and I would recommend. Nice for a formal occasion.

Suffice to say, nothing was good. Service is like Italian Restaurant Summer Camp. The Campers are not good servers. The food is lousy, but hey at least it's expensive! This is The Hamptons after all. I had chosen this place to have dinner with friends from out of town that were vacationing in Sag Harbor. Reviews looked pretty good and fit what they were looking for: good food, water view, not too far from where they were staying. When we drove up, I was seriously questioning myself. The outside looks like a little dated and small. But as other reviewers have said, the interior is very nice and spacious! We were lucky to get a window table although it was foggy so we could not see a lot of the water; just the parking lot and dock. But still better than nothing. I forgot to take pictures of the apps but we shared multiple orders of the burata, fritto misto and salmon tartare (yes, you read that right). All were good and I did enjoy the tartare. For entrees, I got the fish and chips, Cathie got the bouillabaisse, friends got the chicken Milanese special (what a deal!!), Scottish salmon with ramen, burgers, and another bouillabaisse. We all loved our choices but highlights were definitely the chicken Milanese dinner special (because even with slight up charges for certain items, it is an amazing deal!!); and the bouillabaisse. As some other reviewers have said, this is a MUST ORDER! The broth is not too tomato forward but instead is very flavorful with other spices, not just saffron, and the same food is generous and prepared so well! I will come back just for this! My fish and chips were good, even the Cole slaw although I prefer meatier French fries (although these were still good, nice and crispy). Desserts were also very good and service was good after a couple of bumpy starts.

Securing one of the tables by the window overlooking Noyac Bay is definitely a splendid bonus, especially when the summer sun is setting, making it a picture-perfect time to capture the spectacular cotton-colored sky. Reservations are almost mandatory during peak season; wanting to book same day is challenging, however, late evening oftentimes works. A long, dark bar sits by the entryway with cheerful bartenders awaiting. The Bouillasse is a favorite, with clams, muscles, fish, shrimp and lobster in an an unbelievable pinkish-red stew flavored with lovely saffron. I was slightly disappointed the lobster didn't budge easily out of the shell. Nevertheless, the Bouillasse still remains a favorite. Without a doubt, I'll be back for more.
