This tour was a great price point, very fun and relaxing. Our tour guide was Jason and I would recommend him, you can tell he has a love for land and alligators. We got to see alligators, bald eagle, turtles, and more. The boat, bathroom and gift shop were clean. I would have loved to do the air boat tour, unfortunately I couldn't due to being pregnant. We would definitely recommend this tour to a friend.

We had a great time on the swamp tour. We went on a very cold day, so I was worried we wouldn't be able to see much wildlife, but thankfully we still saw quite a bit. We spotted several different bird species, one female alligator with a group of her babies, a raccoon, and more. Our guide was very informative, attentive, and always happy to answer our questions. I would highly recommend this tour if you're visiting New Orleans!

    Just so beautiful and peaceful.

I have done three different swamp tours. Since we did our tour in December, I wasn't expecting to see any gators because that was the case at another tour I had done in cooler weather, so I prepared my first timer husband for disappointment. But, NO! Captain Jason knew all the spots and every few minutes we were encountering gators. Not only gators, but he regaled us with stories of his experiences in the swamp. We learned so much! It was a beautiful swamp, filled with so much wildlife. We even got to watch a Bald Eagle collecting sticks to bring to his massive nest. We reserved our tickets through the phone and my husband said the lady who helped him was so nice. There is a gravel parking lot with plenty of space for parking and restrooms to use before you board. There are snacks you can purchase in the boat. During the tour, the captain will point out where to look and you are free to stand up and walk around the boat to get a good look, and he stays for a few minutes to everyone has a chance to get a look/pictures. For an unobstructed view, I would sit in the middle benches towards the very front of the boat but, like I said, you will have plenty of opportunity to walk around and see everything.

I found this place on Groupon during our family trip and we had to go. It was an amazing time with amazing people! The crew was so nice and even waited a few extra minutes for my brother who almost missed the boat. The kids had a blast! Highly recommended if you haven't been on a swamp tour in Louisiana.

Excellent swamped tour outside of New Orleans. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Kept tour very entertaining. Prices very reasonable.

    Alligator- saw a ton

100% recommend this tour. We saw over 20 alligators. But even if we didn't see any I would still recommend because the wildlife was incredible and being on a boat through the swamp was awesome. We saw a bald eagle and its baby. We saw two snakes, an owl, Heron, crows, frog, and lots of turtles. Captain Jason was amazing. He knew so much about the wildlife, and knew where the alligators like to hang out. He was great. I wasn't planning to do a swamp tour but I'm so glad I did. Best thing I've done so far in New Orleans.

I have actually taken this tour before and left a great review so I have to say I was deeply disappointing . I purchased the Groupon and paid an additional $70.00 on ride share to attend. The employees upon arrival seemed much friendlier on my last visit but getting to the tour. Although the guide was nice and extremely knowledgeable, there were hardly any gators to see. He had to constantly call them and we seen one and a half gators which was sad. I left two stars because we did see some wildlife but the tour was for gators. I felt like I wasted my money.

Ernie was our boat captain...he was great! Raised in the area and extremely knowledgeable. We could've cruised all day and not got tired of the views. We cruised in the winter so we did not expect to see much wildlife, but we got lucky and saw 1 gator out due to unseasonably warm weather. The whole experience was great, cannot recommend this tour enough & if you can ride with Ernie.

A fun and informative tour led by Captain Kirk! On the weekend, for an extra fee, you can get a ride to the location. Our group went on a weekday in November so we rented a car and took advantage of the free gravel parking. It is located around 30 minutes from the French quarter. They have a sweet old dog that greets you when you check-in. We enjoyed great weather and got to see over 5 gators and other wildlife. Kirk provided historical information and also personal experience since he has lived in New Orleans most of his life. Kept it interesting and I learned new information. Who knew the Nutria was so problematic. Toward the end of the tour, we got to pass around Doobie, a puny baby gator. Our group had a great time! If you take the airboat tour, I recommend sunglasses for the wind. It was getting cold when we were there so my scarf was useful.

Our tour guide was Jason and he was very knowledgeable! He answered everyone's questions and made the tour enjoyable for everyone! Aside from seeing the main attraction, we learned about alligators and the wildlife living here. Thank you for an amazing tour! I'd recommend this to everyone!

The tour was awesome and so was our tour guide Jason. He was very knowledgeable about the area and we got to see so many gators. I would definitely recommend it for families of all ages.

Captain Kirk was the best guide ever. He was so amazing with the gators. The boat ride was amazing.

The location is about a 30 minute drive from the French Quarter in New Orleans. They have transportation for an extra fee but we called and they told us it was only on the weekends. We checked rideshare apps and they were pretty pricey so we decided to rent a car and drive there ourselves. Fortunately they have free parking on the premises. We took the 10am tour with Captain Brent who talked to our group through the land and the history. He told us that Hurricane Ida damaged a lot of the trees and the land, where part of it was part of the Jean Lafitte National Park. During our tour we saw different species like bald eagles, owls, vultures, and turtles. Of course, we also saw alligators and Brent knew where to go for a higher probability of seeing some. Because we went in January when it's cold, there weren't as many. Brent told us that March and April are the best times because the weather is warmer and they are everywhere. Personally I wasn't good at finding alligators so we were grateful that others were on the boat because they were much better. The tour took a total of 90 minutes which was more than enough time to see our fair share. This was a unique experience that I had never done before and we had a lot of fun!

We booked transportation through them as well, which ran $72. For comparison, I checked Uber pricing and it was about $65 one way, and there were plenty of Ubers available near the tour location. The staff was friendly and easy to work with from the start. I ended up needing to change our date, and they were very accommodating, which I appreciated. Once we arrived at their headquarters, the place was clean, well kept, and had a true "bayou" feel to it. One interesting thing, they actually own the swamp land, so you're essentially touring their backyard... with alligators included. We were assigned Captain Matt, and he made the experience. You could tell he genuinely cares about the wildlife and the ecosystem, which added a lot to the tour. It wasn't just a ride, it felt informative and authentic. The tour lasted about 1 hour and 45 minutes. We chose to sit in the front, which meant getting a little wet, but the views were absolutely worth it, especially when the captain started interacting with the gators. Overall, this was money well spent. We had a great time and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

I selected the 6PM seating time so that I would be done with the meal by the time the Steamboat Natchez starts moving around 7PM. The dining area interior space was lovely and expansive with chandeliers, as well as a stage area. Each table had a bowl of Caesar Salad placed there already. Lettuce was nice and crunchy, with plenty of tangy dressing and croutons. Upon being seated, the server took drink orders and I selected Iced Tea (one of the complimentary beverages being offered). The Iced Tea was sweet and refreshing. Next, we were served Gumbo with rice, which was warm, flavorful, and comforting. As for the buffet, there was Shrimp Pasta, a few different saucy dishes made with veggies and meat, potatoes with bacon and peas, Prime Rib, Fried Chicken, and Green Beans. I really enjoyed the Shrimp Pasta, which was made with creamy, well seasoned sauce, and tender shrimp. The saucy dishes were cooked well and bold in flavor. Prime Rib was a little tough. Fried Chicken was delightfully crispy, but a bit on the dry side and could have used more flavor. Green Beans had a perfect consistency with yummy seasoning. For dessert, I tried both the Bread Pudding and Cheesecake with tasty coffee. Both were delicious in their own way. Bread Pudding was dense, with a milky, velvety smooth topping, while the Cheesecake was more light and airy, yet still rich. Service was solid. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Everything (drinks, appetizer, dessert, coffee) came out in a timely manner and the main dishes were part of the buffet. When done eating, I went out to take in golden hour sunset, then headed up to the top deck, where I found a seat. Live jazz music was performed throughout the evening. It was a perfect night for feeling the wind in my hair, watching the skyline go by along the Mississippi River, and the twinkling lights of the city as the sky turned dark. I really enjoyed myself on this iconic Jazz Cruise along Mississippi River.

This was easily one of the highlights of my trip. As a first-time visitor, getting out on the water and exploring the Louisiana wetlands was incredible. The views overlooking the Mississippi River and surrounding swamps were breathtaking, and seeing wildlife in their natural habitat made the experience even more special. We spotted alligators, frogs, and an abundance of local wildlife, but what truly made the tour stand out was Captain Larry. His knowledge of the area, local history, and wildlife was impressive, and he delivered it all with a great sense of humor and passion that kept everyone engaged from start to finish. There are a few airboat tour companies near New Orleans, but we decided to go with Airboat Adventures due to the price and positive reviews online. I booked the tour online through their website. If you want something more private, go witha smaller airboat, which is a bit more expensive than the large airboat. But because we're chickens, we decided to go with the larger airboat that held more people. The tour offers transportation to their location by bus for an extra fee, but we decided to drive our own car since they provided on-site parking. I do recommend driving your own car, because the drive was absolutely scenic. A lot of green and we got to see all the beautiful houses built on stilts on the way. Not to mention, it's about a 30 min drive from New Orleans. When we arrived, there were plenty of parking. They also had bathrooms inside and on the exterior of their store, which were very clean! Inside the store, you can check out a live albino alligator and take photos while you wait. You can also wait outside on the dock -- plenty of seating and you can grab a drink at the bar. The tour was amazing and so was our tour guide. The weather was nice, we saw a lot of gators sunbathing a bald eagle, and its nest. It was more than what I expected! Everyone in my party had a great time and more memories were made! Side note: Airboats are very loud so make sure you keep the headphones on!
