I had a terrible experience with this cake company and would strongly advise anyone against ordering from them. I placed an order and paid in full, including an additional fee for shipping. I received an email from them saying that they could either refund me or have it delivered the day after my requested date - which was for a birthday so obviously not an option. So, I opted to pick up the cake instead, but still never received the promised shipping refund. After contacting them again to ask where the refund was, they suddenly changed their tune and said that they can't do refunds - despite having offered one to me in the initial email exchange. To add insult to injury, they claimed that "extra time" had been put into the cake in lieu of the refund. I was never informed of this, and would've MUCH preferred my funds. After that, they completely ghosted me and never replied to any further attempts to contact them. I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with this cake company's lack of professionalism and customer service. In short, stay far away from this cake company. They will nickel and dime you, make promises they don't intend to keep, and then refuse to give refunds even when they promised to do so. Save yourself the hassle and find a different cake company that actually values their customers. read more

I recently had my daughter's 7th birthday at Jeanette's, with 12 little cake decorators participating (two of which were only 4). The whole experience was wonderful from the moment we walked into the venue. The decor is beautiful (light pink and light green), the workstations are spacious, the place is very "cute", it is very clean and spotless (everyone was politely asked to wash their hands upon entry). My daughter loved the experience and her friends, some accompanied by their moms, also loved it. The party was hosted by Jeanette's assistant, who was lovely and patient, willing to spend time with each child as necessary... including the two 4 yr olds. To top off the experience, every child went home with their cake in a beautiful cake box. The girls were in awe. My daughter grinned from ear to ear. It was her first "friend party", so it was a big deal... and it did not disappoint! Very, very happy with the entire event... stress-free, well-organized, great tasting cake, great quality, and lovely venue. read more

Jeanette's Cakes gets a 5 Cookie Star review!! Both my daughters have attended the cake and cookie decorating classes and truly enjoyed their bake studio experience. Kids had loads of fun, filled with creativity and learning and fun and sampling and more fun. The real clincher was when they were able to take home the creations they had so loving toiled over. They were immensely proud of their "gift-box" cake that they decorated and we had to really coax my oldest to let us cut into and taste it. We were not disappointed - delicious and gorgeous looking. Seeing their big smiles and the pride of what they were able to make was outstanding. "Looks just like that cake show, right mom?" Had to agree! Jeanette the owner, is hands on, provides great direction, offers inspiration and encourages students to tap into their creative side. Will definitely recommend to friends. We were previously at the other location, but must say the new one is far better - spacious, bright and inviting. read more

What an unforgettable memory has been my daughter's 10th birthday celebration at Jeanette's Cakes decorating party! Everyone had so much fun while learning and being able to put their own creative signature with fun colours and shapes to the awesome octopus... all of them looked fantastic! But the best was to see the girls so proud of themselves taking home their very own creation. Just like in her video, Jeanette explains the goal, the technique and guides you through to the edge where your creativity just overflows. Totally recommended! read more

We have ordered many cakes from Jeanette and they were delicious and definitely conversation pieces at every occasion. We now have a stack of business cards ready to hand out as everyone wants to know where we ordered these phenomenal pieces of art that taste so divine. We provided Jeanette a photograph of an Irish Bridge that she miraculously embedded onto the cake ... it was authentic, classic and was featured on many facebook and instagram pages.
