Jeanne was super awesome to work with. I'm usually hesitant to do photoshoots, especially with my boys....they can be a handful. The last time there was anything professionally photographed in my life was my wedding....almost 10 years ago. Jeanne made our mini session so comfortable and was awesome with the kids!! Made them comfortable enough to laugh and play, which resulted in both wonderful professional shots and amazing candids. Her mini session includes 5 images with options to upgrade....I loved them all so much I had to get more! I'm very grateful for Jeanne's patience and upbeat attitude. She makes people feel comfortable in front of the lens, and does an excellent job adapting to the occasion--for big groups and small. She is efficient so you can enjoy your wedding ASAP AND still get beautiful, timeless photos. Thorough review: Jeanne did our elopement during the pandemic, and our photos came out beautifully. We did a 1 year anniversary party/vow renewal/reception, so we definitely were going to have more people. Jeanne and I communicated what shots I wanted, who I wanted photos of, etc. Since we only had 30 guests, she came up with this brilliant idea to have her second shooter take portraits and candid shots of them. That way, their photos could be sent with our thank you cards. She also communicated the timeline beforehand, which I really appreciated. On the day of the wedding, she let us know when she was at the venue, and what time she would walk over to the hotel (the properties neighbor each other). She was prompt, professional, and always fun. My husband's family hadn't worked with her before, and she made them feel comfortable in all the photos she took of them. Based on our timeline, she had us take the family portraits after the ceremony. She was efficient, quick, and so funny. Everyone was smiling, we got through them quickly, and everyone was able to enjoy cocktail hour on time. It took about 1.5 months to get the edits back, and needless to say, everyone loved the photos. My father-in-law changed his Facebook profile pictures to the ones she took IMMEDIATELY. I think it's safe to say he liked them. I love how soft and dreamy the photos look. They're timeless and would look good anywhere. I love that the edits aren't too stylized and really captured how intimate and fun our event was. I would recommend hiring Jeanne for anything, really. Working with her is a delight, and I wish I could think up more special occasions for us to hire her... So I hope you will! read more

I was the best man to my best friend's wedding back in April 2017. My friend hired this company and I felt they did an amaaazing job. They worked really hard. They came early in the morning to take pics of us while we still in our undies nah jk..but they were there early in the morning and did their thing all the way through dinner. Jeanne Marie and her team did an awesome job for my friends and I know they appreciated everything they did for their special day. Jeannemarie was an awesome photographer!!! Very personable and wasn't demanding as to how we should dress or pose. She let us wear whatever was comfortable to us, none of that, "you should wear this or you should wear that." We met Jeannemarie through our videographer (IMF Visions)who partners with her. So she ended up doing our engagement photos and obviously our wedding photos. Jeannemarie was really fun to work with, I would recommend her to others. On our wedding day, she was there on time and she was ready to snap away as soon as she walked into our room. Our room was small but she still managed to work her way around it. I got my professional headshots through Jeanne and I have to say that I was quite nervous before doing so. I have a reputation for having a "fake smile" and all my photos usually cause any ounce of self-confidence I have to dissolve away lol. I needed to update my LinkedIn profile and it was suggested by a colleague that I contact Jeanne. At first I was shy being that she is a professional photographer she must come across tons of people with fantastic smiles and so when I told her about how I dont have a very good smile she immediately made me laugh and said "see you have a great smile!" I wanted an amazing photographer for my daughter's Ho'ola'a ceremony. The event was scheduled for Kualoa Beach - a very sacred place for Hawaiians. Researching photographers in Hawaii is quite a task given there are a zillion. Came across Jeannemarie's website. She had great photos and even credits in national magazines. Seemed like a perfect choice. We also hired a video crew (Thank, God). The ceremony was beautiful and we were excited to get the photos. Sadly, the photos were not so beautiful. They were overexposed,, poorly composed, and missing the most important parts of the event. The beautiful background of Mokoli'i might as well have been nonexistent. There were lots of photos of people around a picnic table - but hardly any of my daughter during the ceremony. There were NO photos of the Kahu and my daughter clearly seen during the blessing. When I asked Jeanne about this, she admitted the exposure was bad. She said that she would re-touch all the photos and fix the backgrounds to resemble the photographs she so proudly displays on her website. One month, 2 months, 3 months - nothing. Excuse after excuse of being busy - crazy weekend - lots of weddings, etc. I was pretty easy going about it at first, but then it got ridiculous. I guess her business motto must be, "I'll decide who's photos are more important." Or maybe she prioritizes based on how much money you spend with her? I asked her for a disc of the RAW photos so I could hire another photographer to work on them in Phoenix, she refused. When she finally posted some 're-touched' photos, she said she worked on the ones SHE felt were necessary. Guess what? As the customer, I MAKE THAT DECISION. No one should have to wait 4 months for photographs to be completed. Sadly, after many emails and certified letters (with no response), I'm forced to resort to using the legal system to get my money returned. Unfortunately, that doesn't make the photos any better. Here's the bottom line: Jeannemarie may be a good photographer when she controls the setting, the subjects, the timing, etc. She's NOT qualified to shoot an event that requires quick decisions, anticipation, and LIVE action that cannot be re-created. I suggest she may want to concentrate on shooting buildings - they don't move. Be very careful if you decide to hire this photographer and DON'T pay her the entire fee until AFTER you see your photos. read more

I just viewed my headshot photos taken by Jeannemarie and they are fabulous! I had to call my bff to help me narrow them down and she commented that they are the best headshots she's ever seen of me :-) I am not photogenic and I usually feel like my smile is either too big or too fake but Jeannemarie got me to smile genuinely and just right!
