The building that this spot is in looks a little rough, but once you enter Kaeo Studios, it's a vibe! There are many businesses that operate in the same building so parking can be limited until 9pm. Our party was in the Trellis Room and the aesthetic is so cute! It's designed to look like a garden and is very spacious. This room can seat about 20/30 people and there is a separate little room for kids or people who don't want to be in the Karaoke mix hehe. There is no food served as it is BYOB and bring your own food. The service is always efficient and awesome. I am hoping to book my mom's party here this year!

Caller & spoke with the owners & scheduled for my husband to swing by & view. Whelp, lucky us, we have a great karaoke space in our hood! Online reservations make it easy to see what's available. We opted for the pergola room (teenagers bday party) which accommodates 24. Super cute setup, very spacious, private bathroom (it was kinda hidden!). We were allowed to being in our own food & drinks, & they were kind enough to allow me to have personal decorations put up before my daughter arrived. I can't tell you firsthand how the karaoke system setup is (the teenagers made the decisions for the night) but I do know the songs were submitted via their phones. There a QR code to scan, etc. Either way, there weren't any mixups with the songs, pretty smooth. They do have a one/ time charge of $3 per person, if I remember correctly that's like a clean up fee. They also offer some small snacks. Various rooms to accommodate all size parties! They're located in Westgate shopping center, upper floor (Thelma's Filipino food & Leeward drive in are downstairs). Parking lot is decent sized but can definitely fill up with the number of other establishments here.

They set up a 14' screen and projector, synced with our audio team, and connected to my laptop seamlessly. Their customer service is top notch and I would never say that lightly. They were prompt, professional, took the time to answer all of my questions, gave excellent advice, showed up on time, AND were the most affordable. However, I saw Hawaii Events Unlimited at a wedding expo and decided just to email to see how they were. I'm so glad I did! Even though we were just looking for a DJ, they offer so many other services! So if you're looking for package deals, they would be really great for that also. They were super responsive through email and we even set up a phone meeting with one of their DJs, Nate. We were able to talk to him and he was so great, so that convinced us to book them right away. He listened to everything we wanted and totally understood what we were thinking. They also had a questionnaire for us to fill out which helped us with all our music choices. Hope, from the office, emailed us to keep us on track. We even had a final phone call with her to make sure everything was set. They were so great at communicating which made me feel so much better about the whole process. And the day of... AMAZING!! It was everything we had wanted. Music makes such a huge difference and it was such a great vibe! The music was just perfect, everything flowed so smoothly, they are soooo nice and easy to work with. What else can I say? I booked a session with Dee specifically cause his photos looked more family style than Kristina ( her photos for selfies of her and solo pictures of people) . We communicated over instagram and planned for a family photo shoot for a specific date and time (6pm) the golden hour to get the beautiful Hawaiian sunset captured. A couple hours before the shoot Kristina messaged me saying "Change of plans, I will be taking your photos and we will meet and 4pm Instead" excuse me? I specifically asked for Dee and not Kristina to take our photos and we requested 6pm to get the golden hour shot. Then Kristina responds and says Dee can't make it and let's reschedule for next week. I tell her we're here on vacation and won't be here next week. Then she says he can't bare weight on his foot which that was never mentioned when they first canceled everything. Then we asked is he available tomorrow? She says oh yes he's available tomorrow. (Does not mention anything about his leg and not being able to bare weight the following day) . I was so upset and started crying and did not want these people to take my family photos and did not trust them showing up a day before we had to fly back home. They are very unprofessional and will cancel on you if they get a better gig (what we think happened) We only wanted a 45 min shoot and figured someone else booked them for the "golden hour" for a longer time slot and that's why they canceled on us last second. We had to change all our plans, spent hours trying to find a last minute photographer that wasn't going to charge us an unreasonable amount knowing we were desperate to find someone last second. At the end it all worked out found a way better photographer, saved over $100 dollars and booked the shoot for 1 hr instead of 45 min. Please don't hire these people. They don't even make you sign a contract so they can cancel on you anytime. Oh ya and they blocked me so I couldn't write any bad comments on their page. I first discovered Garvan's Photography at one of the bridal expos for the magnet photobooth, and thought it was a great idea but didn't really look into it much. As the time grew closer to my wedding, I thought I would look them up again and emailed them to get a quote. The communication was ON POINT. The company is run by the SWEETEST couple ever, Gary and Vanessa. I met with them at a local Starbucks to get the ball rolling and they discussed everything that they needed from me (color schemes, etc.) and about a month before my wedding I received 3 drafts of layout for the photobooth pictures. They arrived at my venue on time, and were SO awesome with the guests and the product was worth every penny. Ever since my wedding, my cousins and sisters have booked them for their events as well. They even remember me and my husband when we see them at these events. I once ran into them at a restaurant and it was like running into old friends. I only wish the absolute best for them!
