I'm staying in a two bedroom that's very spacious. We have a family of four and it's perfect. Two bedroom and two baths. This is a boutique feel, the staff is incredible. They have beach towels, toys, chairs and umbrellas to make your beach day perfection. The rooms are completely remodeled with a modern, beachy feel. The beds are comfortable with fluffy pillows and white comforters. I'm here in the peak season and it's around $7k for a week. I personally think it's worth paying more to be right on the beach. It's absolutely heaven to wake up to the sounds of the ocean and see the sunset on the water every night. Also, it's dog friendly!

Owner Donna Miano hosted the Chamber, our Ambassadors and Government Dignitaries and gave us all a tour after our ribbon cutting. The upstairs is BREATHTAKING - ECLECTIC - did I say what a breathtaking view it has? The indoor/outdoor patio is amazing. The downstairs - all one level has a patio that is 100% oceanfront wonderous! The negatives: If you like mildew smell on the linens, then this place is for you. They smell like the linens were left in the washer too long and then dried. We couldn't get rid of the smell from our pajamas. There's no onsite staff to get this corrected. The rooms do not have central air conditioning so many windows are open and there's a window fan. This means you hear all the noise outside. There's a train that runs all night long. Finally there was a loud humming sound that kept me up all night. Sounds like a condenser or something . For $370 a night, you expect better service and amenities.

You get a parking spot and a key code to your door. Once inside you are greeted with a place that needs major work. The carpet is old and stained. The bed is really high off the ground and the furniture is worn. Because there is no air conditioning you have to open the windows, stripping away any perceived privacy. We were surrounded by other rooms, we either didn't have any neighbors or they were really quiet. I was able to hear someone talking through the wall as a mumble, but that went away. Because of the seemingly thin walls I avoided watching the laughably small and awkwardly hung t.v. The worst part was the bathroom which because of the ac situation makes you open a window that stares directly at the door of your neighbor. They do have a nice enough lobby area with some coffee and snacks as well as a good place to sit an enoy them. The location is the selling point, very close to the beach and a few blocks away from downtown, I didn't use a car while there. That was great. They also have a really cool rooftop hangout area with chairs to sit and relax. For what it's worth, my wife liked this place more then I did.

The rooms are basic but surprisingly spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom is also simple, but everything was functional and well maintained. The motel offers off-street parking, which is a big plus in this area. If you're looking for an excellent location, clean accommodations, convenient parking, and good value for the price, Moonlight Beach Motel is definitely worth checking out!

Everything is walkable which I absolutely love. We've stayed here four times now, always in a room with a private balcony and ocean view. There's nothing like waking up at sunrise with a cup of coffee and soaking in the peaceful coastal panorama. Rooms are spacious and here's what's included with your stay: mini fridge, microwave, free WiFi, free parking, beach essentials (if you don't pack your own), access to bbq grills, complimentary morning coffee, and snacks from the front desk. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms appear to be upgraded. Some rooms even come with kitchenettes. Having two bathrooms and washer/dryer was really nice. The apartment is aging and was not real clean, and the small parking spot is a bit challenging. After some cleaning and air freshening on our part, the apartment is quite habitable. There are people living in the upper apartment, and there is some minor thumping noise at all hours, FYI. Based on size, location, amenities, host, ground floor access we can recommend a stay here. We did prefer being tucked away between the beaches instead of facing one of the beaches with people so close by - there is no "view" but we could easily walk to either beach.
