When we entered the home, there was a strong gas smell that was concerning enough for us to open all the windows and check around the house. The home was not clean. There was dust, spider webs, hair on several blankets, and one bathroom had an unknown substance dripping down the walls. The showers took a long time to get warm, and when we filled the indoor hot tub, black particles came out into the water. We also had issues with the dryer, which did not work properly and had to be restarted two to three times before our clothes would fully dry. The pool was also very dirty and full of trash. We spent over an hour removing debris ourselves just to make it usable. Overall, the property appeared poorly maintained and did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again or use this rental company in the future.

Oh, and the beach access is rickety and beach itself is very small. You'll wind up going to Del Mar Beach instead or up further north near Leucadia. So, save yourself the headache and avoid the Del Mar Beach Club. I should add that I lived in this area (between La Jolla/UTC and Cardiff by The Sea) for over five years. I am quite familiar with the area and know that there are better alternatives. Find them and enjoy this great town.
