Maybe a few minutes later after leaving to think about it, she came back in and confirmed. They supposedly slotted her down for that time. During this time, she left for a brief moment to get a drink and then came back to wait the rest. They let her wait there for over 30 minutes until the allotted time passed, and she asked if they were ready. Mind you, my fiancée already felt immediately uncomfortable and judged the moment she walked in. I was on the phone with her the entire time. So you'd think that she got the haircut, right? Nope. Turns out, they thought she had left and wouldn't come back (which she did, very shortly after leaving briefly), so they scheduled over her. Without telling her. On top of that, the woman who told her this decided it would be appropriate to "get down to her level" by crouching. She is not a child. Considering my fiancée is very sweet and doesn't like confrontation, I decided to be the one that wrote this for her. Heavily disappointed in this salon and angered at the ridiculous, disrespectful treatment my fiancée got. This salon is beyond unprofessional to newcomers and does not create a warm or comfortable environment. I advise anyone that's thinking of coming here for a good, professional experience to think against this place.

I go to her because I have mixed hair, so it has always been a challenge to find someone who knows how to treat my hair, white stylist overblow, tease it and over straighten it with the flat iron. Black hair stylist tend to over grease, over flat iron it and try to shave my kitchen (the area around the back of your neck where the hair can be short and tightly curled). I do NOT have a kitchen problem, so it freaks me out when the approach my head with a pair of clippers. Brianne will be going on maternity leave soon, so book your appointment soon. But from looking around every stylist in the shop knows what they are doing and you will not be disappointed. Also, their prices are very reasonable and a cut, style and blowout is under $40.

I was charged the full amount on my credit card plus a fee of $8 which I assumed was for credit card processing. I didn't mind paying for the full amount upfront. After my appointment, I was told I owed $59. I spoke to the owner, and she said it is salon policy to advertise the service fee but not the fee for products used. She said in the small print online it says "a service fee may be applied". This wasn't a service fee, this was a product fee. She said I should have requested a consultation to ensure I knew the total price. I asked " I have to set up an appointment before my real appointment to know the full price?" She said I could have negotiated the fee while I was at my scheduled appointment. This makes no sense because I didn't know there would be a product fee, but even if I was told there was a product fee, what happens if we can't come to an agreement? Could I just walk out because we couldn't agree on the price and I wouldn't be charged for the 2 hour appointment? I doubt it! What a scam!
