First visit to Jearlinas, and let me tell you it was excellent!! Started out with some Shrimp that were just wonderful! Not sure if they were fresh and local shrimp, but they sure tasted like i!! Everything we ordered hit the spot! The service was great and very friendly!! The biggest surprise was how affordable everything was. We ended our visit with ice cream! Hole in the wall, but I've got a good feeling about it! Review after I eat... OH YEA! The reviews are dead on! I had bacon cheeseburger basket with a side of shrimp. ALL delicious! Shrimp is deep fried but the in a very light coating, not buried in breading! Burger was big and tasted very fresh! Fries are straight up Kringle fries, nothing fancy but cooked perfect. Not sure how I have yet to write a review. This cafe is hidden off of the highway on the way to Charleston SC. Just about two exits prior to anything we needed some gas. Looking across the street we noticed a cute ice cream shop named Jearlina's and decided why not give it a try. This shop features blue bell ice cream and at a very low price. It is kind of comically decorated since they do not serve Hershey ice cream but use their decorum. The ambiance is clearly a ladies shop due to the pink walls and signage. It screams come inside and for good reasons. Now we tried their home cooked burgers and fries and thought Jearlina's compares to Five Guys in quality and taste, but takes a step further by their amazing costumer service. The young lady that served us was so sweet and attentive to our needs. What made my experience better was the oversized portion of ice cream we had. My family was leaving Francis Beidler Forest and found Jearlina's online. Food: I tried a double bacon cheeseburger, and it was great. My wife also enjoyed her burger, and even the fries were good. Despite being full, we still got ice cream. The banana split looked great, I had to get it - and it was just as good as it looked. Atmosphere: This place felt very welcoming. Everyone working was very friendly, and even the customers that came in were the same way. You could tell some of the people were regulars, it almost felt like they were family/old friends the way everyone talked with each other. Bottom line, great food with a matching great customer experience. I've lived in Ridgeville for the past year and came here and as soon as I walked in you could smell the bleach so I knew it was taken care of and they cared about cleanliness and safety for them and for their customers which was important especially during this time.
