Amazing food & great staff! I have been several times and have yet to be disappointed. Southern fried chicken breast is a must try!

Was going to go to PT's for my once weekly cheat meal, since I follow such a strict diet. A colleague suggested I try Jebby's he said they have great burgers. I got there about 7:30pm all tables were full and waited about ten mins before being seated. The couple who were ahead of us sat down for 3 mins got up and left. We took their table beside some really loud and obnoxious people. It's a sports bar, I get that. But these folks were loud who were sitting at this table. So I understand why the previous couple left so quickly. I wanted a great cheese burger and a beer so I chose to stay. First server came to the table and asked what we'd like for drinks. I wanted a Mich Light or a regular Michelobe if they didn't have Light. A second server brought me Ultra. I refuse to drink that sorry beer. Anyway I settled for a Corona. Made our order for the 1/2 lb burger with fries. Description plainly states all the fixings of your choice is included in the price of 9.85. I wanted all the way with bacon. I ordered my burger med rare and my girl wanted hers medium. What we got was hers med rare and mine medium well without the bacon I ordered. I kept my fries so I could at lease eat something while my girl was eating hers. I asked for some more fries for the one I sent back , I said I would pay for them. I was charged an additional 4.00 for them. On top of the bacon for .80 that was supposed to be included in the price of the burger. I could swear that the bacon was probably cooked a week ago. It was hard and chewy not cooked fresh. Had very little bacon flavor as well. I had ordered another beer and it was brought to me after the server was finished talking to one of her friends at the bar. I was almost finished with my food. When I looked at her in disgust I guess the bell went off in her head and brought me my beer I really didn't need anymore. My observation is : Service and communication is terrible. Server was very insensitive to our needs, and my gratuity reflected it as I only gave her 5.00 on a 35.00 tab. I would usually give 10.00. The remade burger had really good flavor if you set aside the fact that the bacon should have been cooked at least earlier in the he day. Fries were pretty good as well, although not worth the extra 4 dollars for the kitchen's screw up. These people could care less how their customers feel or concerned that we enjoyed our meal. By the time I left it was 8:55 and beginning to clear out. You mileage may vary with this place. As for me, I most likely will never go back. read more

We love Jebby's! Everything we've ordered has been great so far. Big portions; we always leave full! The fried green beans are our go-to appetizer. And the comfort food is always my first choice (chicken fried steak, pot roast, etc mmmm). My husband raves about the chicken pot pie, although I haven't tried it. Jebby's is certainly the best place to eat in the Hampstead area! The bartender is personable and remembers faces. And we've noticed the service has gotten much better than the first couple times we went, which is why I thought about giving it 4 stars, but went with 5!!) read more

Whatever u do, don't go to Sunday brunch. U won't be able to chose between all the great entree's they offer. The Benedict is outstanding and so is the hash topped with sliced corned beef. Lots of others as well and I have never had a bad meal yet. read more

Unreal. Definitely a bar/pub with a handful of tables, and you could get thrown that this is just going to be bar food, but how wrong that would be. The wife and I both had the crab soup, delicious and generous with the crab meat. Beer selection was limited, but good picks. My oyster po boy was as good as I've ever had with the perfect bun, crusty but soft, fresh ripe tomato, great slaw and just perfectly cooked oysters. My son's and wife's meals were every bit as good. Just picked up lunch for 4 today and it was a real treat. Thank you, Ashley and the Jebby's gang for brightening our day with hot, delicious food. Update. The food is outstanding but it would have been nice if both bathrooms were operational. No straws.... don't understand that one.

I wasn't very hungry when we stopped here so I ordered a side salad. It was a poached pear and spiced nut salad with feta. Hands down the best salad I've ever eaten. Great service and friendly employees. read more

With 4.5 stars we were hoping this would be a good place to eat. Not! The buffalo chicken wraps were terrible. 4 of us ordered it and we all hated it. It taste like they boiled the chicken, threw it in the wrap and drizzled with some buffalo sauce. Philly cheesesteak was nasty as well. These are simple things that are hard to mess up! And they charge .75 for a very small amount of ranch!! The wait staff was nice. read more

As always their food is amazing. Always a great selection of beers and specials. The seafood is always fresh and the crab soup is to die for. One area they could improve on is their initial greeting of customers entering the restaurant. There's never a way of knowing whether or not you should seat yourself or if you should wait to be seated. This is always a favorite of mine and the family's when visiting Hampstead! read more

Great pub style restaurant I had a wonderful bowl of she crab soup together with an excellently prepared NY Stripe. The best I've eaten in Wilmington My partner has the French onion soup which she gave 2 thumps up and the crispy fish and chips We will return NB: Jebbys is quite small so choose the timing of your visit or be prepared to wait the wait is well worth it read more

Naked garlic Parmesan wings were crispy and flavorful. Wedge salad was crispy and refreshing. The crab cake entree was awesome but probably could use another side. Great beer selection. Excellent service. I'll be coming back to try other things on the menu because every plate I passed look great. read more

Jebby's is a pretty decent place. The floors are all tile and the space is smallish, so if there are more than a few groups of people, you essentially have to speak loudly or yell softly to have a conversation. The food is very good, but a tish on the expensive side for what you get (it's a $9.00 cheeseburger) given the very low key Hampstead environment. All in all, it's A-ok. There certainly are better places to eat, but you have to drive 30 minutes to the heart of Wilmington... probably the best bar/diner in the Hampstead area. read more

I had the fried green beans and the spicy shrimp and grits. Both were amazing - the green beans were crispy and made with fresh green beans and had a great dipping sauce - highly recommend. As for the shrimp and grits, the spice was perfect, I couldn't stop eating them. I would highly recommend this place based on our first time there. read more

Got off work and wanted to catch the last 30 minutes of a game, I called to make sure they had NBCSports the girl said "yes" and then I asked if my game was on she again said "yes". I arrive 10 mins later, sit at the bar, and am greeted by the bartender he asked "what can I do you" Me- "what TV do you mind changing" Bartender-"there's only one game on" Me- "I'm not talking about basketball, my game is on NBCSports Bartender- "we are only playing basketball" This wouldn't have been such a big deal if I hadn't called ahead to make sure they could put it on or if every TV was being watched, but there were about 15 TVs and only half being used. read more

We absolutely love this place. It's very small and noisy, so doesn't make for good conversation. But after many visits, we have yet to have a dish we didn't love. Food and service is always excellent. Fun place to eat. read more

I will stop here every single time I pass through this town! Sat at the bar and had fantastic food and friendly service. Server/bartender/owner talked to us for a long time. Crab soup is outstanding -- you will want the bowl not the cup. Burgers are huge and delicious. Onion rings are handmade, don't skip them. My mom had the fried green tomatoes and she ate them all. Only 9 tables and a long bar so it fills up quick, but definitely worth the wait! We came in at end of tourist season at 2pm so no wait at all. Even the mild wings are a little too spicy for kids. My son is 12 and they were a little too spicy for him. But my 14 year old ate the hot wings up! $60 for a family of five. This is our new regular stop on the way to and from the beach! read more

OMG delicious freaking food! Crab soup was awesome and well worth the reasonable cost. The chicken pot pie was perfectly seasoned with a flaky crust. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes with bacon and cream sauce nearly brought tears to thine eyes lol! As did the homemade peach cobbler ala mode. The drinks were good as well though perhaps not the most potent ever. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods you have to stop in and check them out! Have been by three times so far and will be making Jebby's a regular stop on my trips north from Charleston. Servers are friendly, portions are huge, prices are reasonable, and the food is just plain delicious. We've tried several items (on both the regular menu and daily specials) and have not been disappointed. The food is fresh and prepared with care - I bet there isn't a single can in their kitchen. While Jebby's may be classified as a 'sports bar,' the food is anything but. Do yourself a favor and stop by - you'll be glad you did. read more

this was the first joint we went to when we moved to Hampstead and I am in love!! Their crab dip is amazing with the bread the provide and I love their beyond burger with the cheese they put on top! Get there at a decent hour though so you can eat seated early because there can be a wait during the warm seasons! read more

Had the beyond burger which is a veggie burger that tasted just like real meats.

Use to be my favorite. Love the food, however. NO MASKS that are required by state. I will not take my life in my hands, not to have my food safe for our family. If it is required by law at establishments, ALL should have masks on or eat at outside tables at LEAST 6 feet apart. read more
